Now I get that error message "error copying file (Server error)" and the X7 opens a "sharing" program that runs in the background. View 1 Repliesi installed the bluetooth file transfer app from the market and it worked fine for a couple of goes, then my 6 yr old got hold of my phone and i am not sure if he altered some sort of setting and it is now not sending out files (it says on the recieving phone, - connection dropped- ) it is also now not connecting to other phones. Is there anyway of finding out what had changed so i can fix it, would a reset work if so how to do it.

I have tried Windows explorer as well as the Windows Desktop App. I can see my phone in explorer and I an click to open the Music folder. When I try to copy/paste to there it just hangs and then I get an error message to stop or skip copying? I am using Windows 7 SP1. This is a deal breaker if I can't get music and photos on here.
View 14 Replies View RelatedI have an X8 that was repaired a few months ago due to a cracked screen.Yesterday the touch screen stopped working, the screen still displays everything it should and the menu, camera, lock and volume buttons work fine, but touching the screen does nothing which makes doing anything with the phone impossible.I've switched it on and off many times, including holding the power button until I get 3 vibrations and no luck. I've fully charged the phone and tested it whilst it's charging.I don't think there's been any damage, but it could have taken a knock whilst being in my pocket.

The sim service menu(one with the sim card icon) does not open when clicked which is annoying as I use it alot.I usually have to do a full restore which deletes all my data to make it work again which really sucks. Then a few weeks later the problem reapears again, and that sucks even more. Im really fatigued at this point. Whats the point of saving stuff when you have to delete it every other week? Is there any other way to fix this without losing my data?

I have a folder of vCard files which I want to put on my new phone. I have connected via the USB cord but the phone doesn't appear on the list of drives etc. in windows explorer. For some reason it appears in devices and drivers, but I can't drag an drop into it. What I need is a similar thing to the sync option in Zune. To be clear this is my list of phone contact numbers only, not email etc.

The a2dp stopped working on my S6. (G920F 5.1.1 unrooted) I can pair with devices (Speakers, etc) but if I go to their individual settings, the "Media Audio" is disabled. I can still connect to my car stereo and use the phone (the car stereo doesn't support a2dp).
I have done a factory reset 3 times, and the a2dp starts working again every time but after a while it stops. I have been careful in trying to identify what app triggers the a2dp to stop working but it doesn't seem to be related to installed apps.
Right I've had my 5800 a while now and about a month ago the Bluetooth just stopped working randomly out of no where. The problem is that when I try to turn it on it says 'unable to perform Bluetooth operation'.

I love listening to music and I hate the messy wire from the phone to the headset so I loved the idea of MH 100. But after having it for only a week, the MH 100 suddenly stopped working. It won't light up whenever I try to turn it on, or whenever I try to charge it. It was fully charged the last time I was able to use it. Is there some kind of solution to this other than bringing it back to the shop where I bought it? I know that sending it to the service centre would take a lot of time. And it's been only a week since I bought it and still is fairly new so having it opened up already kinda feels bad.

I tried to send them using Bluetooth but they received as messages; so I have 800 contacts that means I received 800 messages. It obvious that it will take a huge time to open each message (or business card) and then save it to my new phone.

I'm not aware of any phone updates since it last worked. I've powered the phone off and on and still no luck. It was bad enough when I had to "wake it up" in order to use it. View 1 Replies View RelatedI recently updated my GS2 i9100 from GB to ICS (4.03) as provided by my carrier (Bell). I am able to pair the phone and media audio with my car stereo (Hyundai Sonata) however I get the message "Unfortunately bluetooth share has stopped" every time it tries to download my contacts to the car. This appears after a minute or so. This was not an issue with GB as it downloaded seamlessly and I was able to use the built in voice calling feature of my car with no problems.The first time the download was tried, the phone rebooted. Since then I have removed the pairing from the phone and car and started over, as well as removed all synced accounts from my contacts except those actually on the phone. Still no luck.

I am not able to receive any file via Bluetooth if that file is not openable by Nokia. ie., if I receive a jpg or mp3 file, it receives fine, and when I open it from Messages, it tries to open it, and then I save it from the Message to the Gallery.But when I try to receive some other type of files which is not supported by the mobile, it receives the message, but it fails to open the bluetooth message and as a result, I am not able to save it to the Mass Memory. Since I just did a upgrade of Samsung Kies to (File name: Kies_2.5.0.12094_28_8.exe) everytime I start the application I get the error "Kies has stopped working, Close the Program". This happens whether or not I have the phone connected via USB. At first I had the problem to do with KiesPDLR has stopped working. I followed the advice of an uninstall and clean re-install and I think it worked a couple of times. Now it won't work at all, even after another clean install.The other symptom I get is that when I boot up my machine it says that Kies Air has stopped working (not that I'm using it).I'm running Windows 7 64 bit.
