Take a picture, get error message that states: File system error. A screen pop up and wants me to save to another file? But even when I change the file name error message comes back. I have no pictures saved on the phone and can not find in options how to fix where the picture will be saved.

Tried to transfer it to a new 16GB USB thumb drive but I get a "file too big" error on the PC. Tried another blank thumb drive; same thing. PC is running the latest version of Win 10. I'm stumped.

View 1 Replies View RelatedLess than a week ago I purchased my black berry and everything worked smoothly. Today I woke up and I played with the camera a bit, taking pictures and such. Then when i wanted a photo saved it wouldn't save to the proper place. It said, "File System Error (6)" I've tried rebooting it, restarting it, removing the battery, taking out the SIM card and putting it back, etc... None of them have worked and now I can't even find or see my photos that I've taken already with the camera. My videos are still there and viewable unlike the pictures.

- replace policy.bin file
- restore

I have recently purchased a E63 in India. My earlier model was 9500 Communicator. I have transferred all the data from 9500 to E63 and all files etc. are opening properly, except files in the folder 'My Documents' which are 'Word' or 'Excel' files.
