I've installed an application from bb appl world, it contains audio files which to listen to. When I try to open the audio file it gives me the following error: IOException: java.io.IOException: HTTP response code: 302

View 5 Replies View RelatedI recently made the switch from iPhone to a galaxy S5. I have a macbook pro that of course has my music in iTunes. I recently tried downloading the android file transfer but whenever it would try to open on the mac it told me it could not connect to my device and to try to restart it or reconnect it. Nothing I did has made a difference. The computer just won't connect to the phone it seems. Both my S5 and mac have the latest versions possible updated so that's not an issue. I'd really like to get more of my music on my S5 other than what I put on there right when I got the phone using SmartSwitch.

View 4 Replies View RelatedUsing the stock File Manager app I can see audio files on my Maxx HD's internal storage and also on the SD card. I happen to be looking at ringtone files. If I tap on the filename to play the ringtone, Amazon Cloudplayer pops up and shows all the music files on my SD card. No ringtones can be found. If I back out of Amazon Cloudplayer and use the file manager to try finding and playing ANY audio file on EITHER my SD card or the internal storage I get sent to Amazon Cloudplayer. I then have to use the back button to get back to the file manager icon in the App drawer. Same thing happens if I try to play audio files on my SD card. Amazon Cloud Player pops up. I don't want to use Amazon Cloud Player to play an audio file in SD storage.
If I connect my phone to my PC and navigate to the ringtones on internal storage and click on them they play as per usual (Windows media player). If I use my PC to play audio files on the SD card they play as usual.Why does my phone default to Amazon Cloud Player when I tap on an audio file in File Manager? What is the stock audio file player on the Maxx HD? Why can't I browse to an audio file with the file manager and tap on it and have it play? How do I fix this?
I can't open my media file..It's empty but I can see my files only when I connect it to PC. And when I try to open the media card from the file folder gives me this message UNABLE TO DISPLAY FILE/MEDIA CARD.

I have been having endless problems with the BB browser by constantly getting one of the ffg messages:Unable to connect to the internet...Cannot open website - error 10005Unable to connect to network - even though the signal shows full 3G, BB etcThis is sooo frustrating, I've never had any problems with the old phone.I've now resorted to using the Opera (mini) and that works like a charm, except you don't get the BB menu when you press the BB button (it brings up the address bar) so you can't switch bet apps.How can I sort this browser issue, esp the error 10005. I can get onto those sites using opera but not the BB browser.

Tried to transfer it to a new 16GB USB thumb drive but I get a "file too big" error on the PC. Tried another blank thumb drive; same thing. PC is running the latest version of Win 10. I'm stumped.

I realized that TASKS app doesn't work on my device. It prompts the error "Uncaught exception: java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException".
I have put about 4gb of songs onto my sd card which i put in my phone. But for some reason it decides to not play certain songs and i get a notification at the bottom of the screen saying "unable to play audio file". I have tried the songs on another sd card have to same problem? They are genuine sd cards not no budget fake ones. Is there anything i can do to get the songs to work. There all MP3.

I have a new HTC one M8 and a 64gb sd card. Last week my phone deleted an album that was playing fine. Put the songs back on the phone, played for a couple of days and now says that won't play - "unable to play this type of audio file".
View 2 Replies View Relatedusing OpenCore (under the stock audio player), the media player will not play newer MP3 files with high bit-rate encoding. Any of my MP3 files encoded in such a manner come up unsupported and will not play. However, lo and behold, I put the MP3s on my ORIGINAL DROID, and they play just fine using Stagefright (under the stock audio player) in Froyo. Attempting to use Stagefright on the X2 results in skipping/stuttering with these files (though there are no issues with other files). So, what now? After all of the music skipping/stuttering issues, certain MP3 files are now just completely unsupported? What gives? I continue to be completely and utterly let down by this POS phone and the complete lack of support.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI was recently on a call when I noticed that I'd lost audio. I'd had the same problem before, but a reboot always fixed it before. This time, a reboot didn't help.After rebooting a second time, I connected my phone to my PC using a USB cable and loaded Samsung PC Studio. (As silly as it may sound, this step fixed my wife's phone several months back when it started to severely lag between keypresses.) No help there, either.I then turned the volume all the way up, started playing a song on my phone, and held my ear up close to the receiver. I could hear a very, very faint sound.
As soon as I slid the phone shut, the speaker went back to full volume.If that were the end of it, I could live with a silly workaround (make call, put call on speakerphone, slide phone shut, take call off speakerphone). But on a recent call, after using the usual workaround, I lost audio even with the phone slid shut.
Samsung tech support walked me through resetting my phone settings to factory defaults (Menu > Settings > (9) Reset Settings > Select "Phone Settings" > OK > Confirm). Still no go. I stopped short of wiping the phone completely because I didn't want to lose my Address Book and because I strongly believe the internal speaker is dying.Whenever the audio has cut in and out, it sounds exactly like a speaker shorting out.
I don't want to get a new phone and extend my contract with AT&T. I don't want to move to another cell phone provider yet (I'm hoping to hold out for when the Galaxy Nexus comes to Sprint then wait for the first price drop), either. I don't want to have to use a Bluetooth headset every time I make or receive a call. (Bluetooth audio works just fine.) And there's no way I can justify paying Samsung $70 to fix a phone I got in 2008.
