Sep 16, 2013I don't know why but my whats app audio keep appearing on my music player list. I have already gone to the media storage folder and put a .nomedia file in the Whats App audio folder, and cleaned my cache. This fixes my problem temporarily but as new audio messages arrive, they start appearing on my music playlist again.
It is annoying to be listening to my audio files when on shuffle.

Dec 15, 2012Using the stock File Manager app I can see audio files on my Maxx HD's internal storage and also on the SD card. I happen to be looking at ringtone files. If I tap on the filename to play the ringtone, Amazon Cloudplayer pops up and shows all the music files on my SD card. No ringtones can be found. If I back out of Amazon Cloudplayer and use the file manager to try finding and playing ANY audio file on EITHER my SD card or the internal storage I get sent to Amazon Cloudplayer. I then have to use the back button to get back to the file manager icon in the App drawer. Same thing happens if I try to play audio files on my SD card. Amazon Cloud Player pops up. I don't want to use Amazon Cloud Player to play an audio file in SD storage.
If I connect my phone to my PC and navigate to the ringtones on internal storage and click on them they play as per usual (Windows media player). If I use my PC to play audio files on the SD card they play as usual.Why does my phone default to Amazon Cloud Player when I tap on an audio file in File Manager? What is the stock audio file player on the Maxx HD? Why can't I browse to an audio file with the file manager and tap on it and have it play? How do I fix this?

Aug 25, 2014I just got this new cell phone for job calls and obviously it's been used by a colleague for some time as there are passwords set on the device. It used to work just fine last week but during the weekend I forgot to plug it and so the battery died and the Iphone turned off for the first time since I got ahold of it.Sunday morning I charged it and when I tried to check for my mails, it asked me for a passcode. I tried all the numeral codes I remembered and even birthdates without success. It gave me the 1 minute, 5 minutes, 10 minutes,.... 60 minutes thing and obviously I was locked out of my phone sometime.Â
I do not have an internet access at home so I could not synchronize before today. I looked on forums and read some tips about the restoring thing. I turned it off...I restarted it pushing the power and main buttons at the same time...I logged on Itunes and have a decent internet connection
I followed the instructions and waited for the restoring to complete and then it synchronized by itself...I check my phone and nothing had changed... still asks for the code..I turned it off...I restarted it holding the 2 buttons, I left the main button pushed down longer that time (maybe that was my first mistake?)I'm still stuck with the device asking for the code!Â

Jul 10, 2012using OpenCore (under the stock audio player), the media player will not play newer MP3 files with high bit-rate encoding. Any of my MP3 files encoded in such a manner come up unsupported and will not play. However, lo and behold, I put the MP3s on my ORIGINAL DROID, and they play just fine using Stagefright (under the stock audio player) in Froyo. Attempting to use Stagefright on the X2 results in skipping/stuttering with these files (though there are no issues with other files). So, what now? After all of the music skipping/stuttering issues, certain MP3 files are now just completely unsupported? What gives? I continue to be completely and utterly let down by this POS phone and the complete lack of support.
