Oct 6, 2011My music player only works some of the time and other times it gives me an error message. Also when I set ringtones from any music on my phone(ones I bluetoothed, ones downloaded from apps on the market, and also ones I copy and pasted from my computer) they will only work sometimes. Other times they seem to reset themselves and go back to a default ringtones or say unknown ringtone and will not work at all. The only ringtones that work all the time are the ringtones that came on the phone. My friend is having the same problem and the tech at US Cellular said he has had couple people come in with the same problem but they can't seem to find a solution. Also when the ringtones/music player is not working the videos in the "Help Center" on my phone will not work either. There seems to be some kind of glitch. I just want to be sure that there isn't some kind of setting wrong or something before I take this phone back and get something else because I would love to keep this phone, but it's not looking very promising.

Jun 23, 2011i am trying to download music from ovi store/ringtones. everyting goes well till i receive my sms link. when i click on it and click on buy and then download - it just hangs, showing the download bar but at 0% and not moving. if i log into the store on my laptop and go to "my stuff" it shows that that spesific song has been downloaded, but its no where on my phone.

Aug 20, 2014iPhone 5S synced to older Mac PowerBook does not receive ringtones or music in iTunes during sync. I've tried numerous times. Do I possibly have a setting wrong? I've checked everything I can think of. iTunes is up-to-date, iPhone software is up-to-date, MacPowerBook is up-to-date and running OSX Version 10.9.4. Music and ringtones are definitely where they should be in iTunes media library.

May 13, 2012I just got a new phone about a week ago. Today I was texting noticed that it was having shortages in the clicking. When I played a game the sound wasn't working. Later that day my dad called and the phone wasn't playing my ringtone. Now it will not work at all with any sounds. I have reset all my settings on my phone and turned it on and off multiply times. It doesn't seem to be working. I did try putting my headphones in and turned my music on and it was playing through the headphones but when I took them out it wouldn't play.

Dec 9, 2014I have a new iPhone 6 with IOS 8.1.2 and have the same problem that affected my previous iphone 4S with IOS 8.1.1: when audio is turned off using the hardware switch on the left side I am still able to play audio from my video library or other apps like whatsapp or similar. Even if I go into settings >> sound and look at ringtones they are able to play (also with earphone). Furthermore it happens that recording videos in silent mode doesn't record the audio but only video.

Additionally, all the options play music. There is nothing that is less annoying / more professional sounding. Just a simple ring or beep sequence. So, I'm just learning. Please point me at a good place to download non-song ring tones for this phone. I'm on AT&T if that's an issue.
