I want to hide my personal ringtones (on the mass storage drive) from my Music library as it is quite annoying to hear your ringtones when listening to good music. The folder with the Nokia ringtones I can't find.
So, how can I do this?
I didn't have this problem before -- usually games keep their sounds to themselves. But today, having refreshed the Music Library after installing Pipemania from OVI Store, I found out that its sound files are all there, among songs. I most certainly don't want to hear some splashing water in my shuffle, so I need to find a way to hide them from the library.

View 15 Replies View RelatedI sync photo albums from my HD to my iPhone using iTunes and the albums show fine on the phone,but I can't get rid of the golly darn PhotoLibrary album. If it has to exist to hold the photos, no problem,BUT I don't want it to SHOW---have tried everything for hours, except something that will work.And why can't I drag and drop images to the phone and not have the pain of iTunes?

from several months I've a problem with my music player. i can't listen my songs, they don't appear in my music library and when I enter in it - ''General: system error". Instead of song I've got ''qtn_lgal_list_title_..." ..i tried to delete them but i couldn't. I updated software,but the problem doesn't disappear.
View 6 Replies View RelatedWhen i removed my usb cable, the phone said device error then when i went to playlist all the music were gone. If i try to refresh nothing happens, i have removed the data from the card, and put it back still nothing. When i connect with usb cable i can see and even play the music on my laptop. There is still nothing under my playlist the music is still playing under tones but its not showing in my music files and not refreshing.

Songs are present and correct but the folder will not update (i.e. I deleted a song but the number on the folder does not show this change or I removed a specific genre but that genre folder remains)- I have seen this issue with a number of Nokia music player phones and was wondering if anything was ever resolved, There was a workaround for the 5800 (show hidden folders and delete a load of .dat files) but this does not work for my C7 with Belle?

In almost every album, it shows every song twice.
Tried refreshing the library more than once now, but no luck.
If I add a new album, it only shows those tracks once.
So this must have happened some time ago, but I can't seem te get rid of it.
I wanted to add just one new song onto my N97, it was a song that I heard on the radio and liked so I purchased it on iTunes added it to a playlist and transferred it to my N97 using NMT. This all went fine until I tried refreshing the music library, no matter what I did the refresh would not find the additional song. I checked the transfer using YBrowser and sure enough the song had been transferred and the playlist had the new song added (I could even play it in the file browser) but this would not update in the music player.
To resolve this I had to delete all 4.7GB of music off my N97 (including the playlists) using NMT then disconnect the phone and refresh the library, the music library then displayed 0 songs. Then using NMT I had to reload all of the music and refresh the library, this time it worked. As you can imagine deleting and reloading 4.7GB (thankfully I don't have more music on my phone) of data takes quite a bit of time, all to add just one new 8MB song. Outrageous!
Has anyone else experienced this?

I just ugraded from the E73. Moved my microSD card over with my music. There is no where to update the music library so it sees all my music on the SD card.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have recently purchased Nokia N97 and have some problems using media library, exactly.I uploaded some music files to my mobile phone using Ovi Suit and Nokia Music center. But, when i tried to refresh Media Library it said: "0 files were added". although,when i enter Library and choose for instance "Artist" i can see sub folders there, but when i enter there is no music files or albums in it.
Case is that if i try to play some particular song from File Manager, it plays it and i have no problems, but i can not see thous files in Media Library.I have tried to delete files from Nokia Music Center and yes, it deletes them, but i can still see artist and album names in Media Library and can not delete them.Please help me if there is any known solution for it, or any possible way how to get rid of this problem or how to clean my Media Library and delete the files it is not showing.
I have a little problem , my nokia does not want to refresh my Music library , I click on refresh library and there appears: Refreshig. 0 file(s) added. and it is loading , and doesn't stop loading.....finally I don't have my songs in my Music Library....Do you know what could probably caused that and how to fix it ?

i have a small problem with my nokia n96. when i using music player for awhile the refresh library button disappear. but when i reboot my phone its there again. and when im using nokia ovi player on my pc, when i connect my phone it saying your artwork not optimized for your phone. i click optimize and still cant see artwork on my phone. am i doing something wrong?
