Nov 5, 2011Charging on mains is working fine, also on the usb of the laptop, but in my car not.I tried with the same car charger (nokia) on another mobile, then it worked.

Nokia Nseries :: 701: Charger AC-15E Not Working
Dec 27, 2011I received a 701 phone and tried to charge it but it did not work. It must come from the AC-15E charger shipped with the phone, since I tried the AC-8E charger from my previous phone (a C5-00 5MP) and the charging then worked. Yet before sending the phone back to the seller, I would like to be sure that the shipped charger is just faulty and that it does not come from anything else.
Did anybody have a similar problem with the 701?
Nokia :: N95 - USB Charger On PC Works Fine But Not Working On Laptop
Jan 15, 2010I just recently bought a CA-100 usb charger for my Nokia N95 from ebay. When I use this usb charger on my pc it works perfectly fine, but when I use it on my laptop it doesn't work. When I use it on my laptop it says "charging" for about 2-3 seconds, and then I get the message "not charging". Now I tried looking this up and found out that Nokia chargers usually have a current of 800 mA meanwhile usb's are usually 500 mA. Is there a way to raise the usb current to 800 mA? Also why is it working on my pc and not my laptop. My laptop is newer than my pc and it definitely isn't a hardware problem or anything wrong with my laptop. Possibly there's a setting I must change? It worked on my friends toshiba laptop as well. My pc and laptop are both Compaq.

Aug 8, 2011I brought a Nokia X6 about 5 months ago in Saudi Arabia and i've been using it for some time..But when i brought it to Sri Lanka ..the mic stopped workin after 1 or 2 days..I took it back to Saudi to fix but it worked perfectly there again..Then it broke again and i gave it to the Shop i brough it from..They changed da mic but it broke after few days.

It is my first time to by a nokia touch screen phone and now the touch screen is not working any more. I tried to update the software to version 6.but no change. I feel robbed by nokia as I wasted my money on this phone. Now I can not unlock the phone, I have to switch off the phone and I cant type or save a number,I cant view missed calls and messages. Dec 1, 2011This is like the 10nth time this has happened. The sim service menu(one with the sim card icon) does not open when clicked which is annoying as I use it alot.I usually have to do a full restore which deletes all my data to make it work again which really sucks. Then a few weeks later the problem reapears again, and that sucks even more. Im really fatigued at this point. Whats the point of saving stuff when you have to delete it every other week? Is there any other way to fix this without losing my data?

I took it back to MTNSP and they told me it cannot be fixed and they gave me a new handset.
The new handset: Now its a new problem, everytime I download software from Ovi, it start hanging, touchscreen not working. I switch it off and on again and it works for about 30 seconds and hangs/freezes. It does this everytime. I tried to delete the programs again but it keeps on doing the same thing. I tried to scan with antivirus program but still no solution

Mar 16, 2011my phone was fully functional, until I dropped it off my bed, then stood on it getting up to get it off the floor, anywhoo, the screen had broke and only the three buttons on the bottom were working. Aug 18, 2011I have noticed on a number of occasions that I have plugged my Xoom into the charger, and come back to find that it was not being charged. Unplugging the Xoom from the end of the charger made no difference, but unplugging the charger from the mains supply and plugging it in again seems to work. This does NOT happen if you plug the Xoom charger into the mains supply, then attach the Xoom, but only if the Xoom charger has been left plugged into the mains for a while without the Xoom being attached.I think this behaviour is by DESIGN - it appears that the Xoom charger switches off internally if left connected to the mains (but NOT connected to the Xoom) for a while. Disconnecting it from, and reconnecting it to, the mains "reboots" the charger, and it works again. This is a good idea, as it decreases the power consumption of the unit (I'm afraid I have loads of non-connected power chargers left plugged into the mains).

I found that I had enabled search for WIFI and also enabled two of the settings for gps. After removing settings and changing display to lower brightness and not using internet it is better now. I took BSNL service in India for my vacation. They have 3g in very few places. I am not sure if the 3g or their SIM card is the culprit.
I want to buy car charger. I found Nokia dc-6 selling for Rs 950($20). Do I need to use only this? I called and found that Samsung one for Rs 250($6). Is it ok to use generic one or other brands?
What do I need to look for when I buy car charger for n900? I hope it works in USA also. Appreciate any help since I need to buy ASAP. I can exploit all features in my journeys since I am not driving here unlike in USA;-)
