I need to find a good App that evaluates how well various chargers/USB cords are charging the G4 but haven't found one yet. The "Galaxy Charging Current" App worked well with my S4, but doesn't play well with the G4. I've also tried several at the top of the Play Store list (Ampere, OPO Charging Current) but most give very erratic mAh readings.

It must come from the AC-15E charger shipped with the phone, since I tried the AC-8E charger from my previous phone (a C5-00 5MP) and the charging then worked. Yet before sending the phone back to the seller, I would like to be sure that the shipped charger is just faulty and that it does not come from anything else.
Did anybody have a similar problem with the 701?
Charging on mains is working fine, also on the usb of the laptop, but in my car not.I tried with the same car charger (nokia) on another mobile, then it worked.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have noticed on a number of occasions that I have plugged my Xoom into the charger, and come back to find that it was not being charged. Unplugging the Xoom from the end of the charger made no difference, but unplugging the charger from the mains supply and plugging it in again seems to work. This does NOT happen if you plug the Xoom charger into the mains supply, then attach the Xoom, but only if the Xoom charger has been left plugged into the mains for a while without the Xoom being attached.I think this behaviour is by DESIGN - it appears that the Xoom charger switches off internally if left connected to the mains (but NOT connected to the Xoom) for a while. Disconnecting it from, and reconnecting it to, the mains "reboots" the charger, and it works again. This is a good idea, as it decreases the power consumption of the unit (I'm afraid I have loads of non-connected power chargers left plugged into the mains).

View 7 Replies View RelatedWhenever I am using Google Maps for navigation and I plug in my phone to my quick charger, it doesn't actually charge the phone. It just keeps the phone at the same charge level, but never actually charges the phone. I know the charger works, because if I'm not using Google Maps, the phone charges as expected. I'm using a 3rd party quick charger, but that shouldn't matter.

I just recently bought a CA-100 usb charger for my Nokia N95 from ebay. When I use this usb charger on my pc it works perfectly fine, but when I use it on my laptop it doesn't work. When I use it on my laptop it says "charging" for about 2-3 seconds, and then I get the message "not charging". Now I tried looking this up and found out that Nokia chargers usually have a current of 800 mA meanwhile usb's are usually 500 mA. Is there a way to raise the usb current to 800 mA? Also why is it working on my pc and not my laptop. My laptop is newer than my pc and it definitely isn't a hardware problem or anything wrong with my laptop. Possibly there's a setting I must change? It worked on my friends toshiba laptop as well. My pc and laptop are both Compaq.

I just picked up the iPhone 3gs on Monday and have two questions that. Forgot to find out before I got the phone. I bought a white iPhone 3gs and wanted to know is the phone still plagued with overheating and discoloration problems? Second question I am wondering if I buy a mophie juice pack air a coupple of months would that negatively affect my battery on the iPhone. What I mean by this is I heard that aged four hundred complete charges and draining of the iPhone battery the phones battery only holds 80% of the charge it use to. My question is does using a charger help increase time it takes the iphont to reach 400 chargeres quicker than it would if I did not use the charger?

After updating to ios 7.1.2Â i noticed that my iphone always displayed that the battery was 100% charged, even though my iphone had been on charge for a minute or so. If I want to restore to factory settings it says "please close all connections and calls". The wifi symbol is on top right corner all the time. View 4 Replies View Relatedi used to get all my hotmail emails on my phone until one day i tried to login to my hotmail on my pc and it kept saying wrong password until i got logged off. i eventually got the problem resolved and my hotmail account restored but i still havent been able to setup my hotmail email on my blackberry curve since then. i can get to it through the web browser but cant set it up automatically because it says update failed everytime i try to set it up. I tried setting it up on a friend's blackberry and it worked just fine. resolve the problem because its my primary email address and i need to be alerted as soon as my emails come in.

After updating it all it did was open, nothing else, then it just closed. So I deleted it, thinking I'd reinstall it, but it doesn't show up in appworld when I do a search. So I go to appworld online and send have it send me a link, but no reinstall button. So i delete appworld to see if that will fix it. now when I try to reinstall it I get the message..."sorry your device does not meet the system requirements that are needed to support blackberry app world" Ok.....so I reinstall the os just for the heck of it. Still same thing. Why is it so difficult to add apps to this phone? I never had this kind of grief with my 9000.
