Aug 8, 2011I brought a Nokia X6 about 5 months ago in Saudi Arabia and i've been using it for some time..But when i brought it to Sri Lanka ..the mic stopped workin after 1 or 2 days..I took it back to Saudi to fix but it worked perfectly there again..Then it broke again and i gave it to the Shop i brough it from..They changed da mic but it broke after few days.

Oct 2, 2012setting up email on Nokia X2-01. I do not want to install gmail, yahoo, ovi or windows live. i want to install company email. It takes verything but when it needs to sign in I get the message "Could not sign in" Try again later. I tried everything I know, called noklia support, still nothing works. the softwares updated. There is not a security certificate on my website, so what is the problem?

Sep 30, 2010I'm trying to set up my yahoo mail email address using the email wizard.
I am going in via the messaging section, i'm asked to define the mailbox which I do by using the email wizard, select yahoo mail and add my email address, click ok and every single time it just keeps coming back as "unable to connect to server. Try again later"
I can get on internet, OVI store, call, text and use WLAN but this just keeps coming up the same. Is there any way to rectify this or is there some other way I can set up a few email addresses (I tryed my google one too and got the same response)

It is my first time to by a nokia touch screen phone and now the touch screen is not working any more. I tried to update the software to version 6.but no change. I feel robbed by nokia as I wasted my money on this phone. Now I can not unlock the phone, I have to switch off the phone and I cant type or save a number,I cant view missed calls and messages. I have send it to techinicians but all the touch screens they tried did not work It records 3gp video files only not mpeg4?

Dec 1, 2011This is like the 10nth time this has happened. The sim service menu(one with the sim card icon) does not open when clicked which is annoying as I use it alot.I usually have to do a full restore which deletes all my data to make it work again which really sucks. Then a few weeks later the problem reapears again, and that sucks even more. Im really fatigued at this point. Whats the point of saving stuff when you have to delete it every other week? Is there any other way to fix this without losing my data?

Apr 5, 2011I was a proud owner of the Nokia X6 since June 2010 till now recently. Every time I send an SMS or edit a contact, it restart itself. Everytime....
I took it back to MTNSP and they told me it cannot be fixed and they gave me a new handset.
The new handset: Now its a new problem, everytime I download software from Ovi, it start hanging, touchscreen not working. I switch it off and on again and it works for about 30 seconds and hangs/freezes. It does this everytime. I tried to delete the programs again but it keeps on doing the same thing. I tried to scan with antivirus program but still no solution

Mar 16, 2011my phone was fully functional, until I dropped it off my bed, then stood on it getting up to get it off the floor, anywhoo, the screen had broke and only the three buttons on the bottom were working. I sent the phone off to be fixed and hey presto, I got a new fully functioning screen, but now the three buttons along the bottom do not work.

May 4, 2010I have E63 and I have been using Nokia Email on my phone a few months now without any problems. (Have been using Gmail and Ovi mail) However last two weeks it somehow stopped working properly.
1. I can still send emails properly.
2. "Sent" folders sync without problems. Also, for example if I send an email from Ovi website from PC, I can see my message in the Sent folder.
3. Mysterious empty "Inbox" although I haven't deleted messages. They just disappeared. And no new messages come in. I tested a few times by sending emails from PC but nothing.
Nokia :: E72 EMail Shortcut Key Not Working?
Jul 14, 2010I just got my new Nokia E72, happy with it overall, just a couple of niggles (apart from the build quality), which I'd like to check with more owners of this phone. When I press the EMail shortcut key, on the top right side of the keypad, this shortcut doesn't open the general EMail "folder" where I can see my GMail, Yahoo!, and Hotmail email accounts, instead it opens my Yahoo! email account directly, and I have to go back to the general "folder" to see my other email accounts.
I've tried playing with all the different options, but so far cannot make it work as I think it should be, which would be to go to the main EMail "folder", so I can choose which EMail account I want to open/synchronise, and not just opening the first EMail account I set up. Also, is not downloading the "Sent Items" folder, even though I chose "All" in What to download.

#1: i can't get the facebook app!!! i downloaded it once, had to uninstall it, and now i can't re download the app. i contacted nokia and they didn't do anything about, yet they got my email. i tried completely resetting the phone, making a new ovi account, trying to download it on the pc, and nothing works. can someone please send the app to ? thank you
#2: is there a Internet app that doesn't **bleep**? i've tried watching videos over Internet a few different ways, and no matter what, the quality is always awful, even over wifi.
#3: the email app doesn't work. i click on it, and it just crashes right away. i've tried taking the battery out, resetting the phone, and nothing fixes it. what should i do
Nokia :: E72 Email Stopped Working
Jan 30, 2010At first I set up my email just like I had it on my E71. I have 3 accounts on nokia messaging. It worked for about 3 weeks, until one day I just stopped recieving emails. The mailboxes would no connect. When I open the mail box, the circle in the right hand corner, is always Red, used to be green, but now its red.
So I try to connect manually, I go to options and click connect. But it won't connect, I try to synchronize by clicking send and receive but nothing, its simply won't connect to the mail box. I think it might have something to do with the access point. This new E72 is really frustrating me. I miss my E71's simplicity and reliability. Anyone know how I can fix my email problem? This is useless to me without push email.

Jun 2, 2012Just got a new X2-01 (qwerty keyboard) from T-mobile. I can get onto the internet fine, however I cannot setup gmail or yahoo mail. I get an "invalid email address or password" error.
I have verified both many times, checked case sensative, even Changed my password. I can log on from my PC just fine.

Now every time I open up the email widget, it keeps asking me for my password and says login unsuccessful when I enter the password and try to login.Just an hour earlier, it was working fine.

Jul 26, 2012I use Nokia X2-00 on Vodafone , India. I have a Vodafone Mobile Connect Plan. I had been using Whatsapp without any problem for the past 6 months or so. 2 weeks back, i accidentally deleted the VMC access point.
Since then, i've been facing problems. I have asked the people at Vodafone Customer Care to provide me Settings for VMC. But whatever i do, my Preferred Access Point does not change from Vodafone Live! to Vodafone Mobile Connect. I have even tried creating a Personal Setting with the Account Name as 'www'. But it doesn't help. I am able to set the Default Config Sett. as 'Vodafone Connect' , but the Preferred Access Pt. is always Vodafone Live! I know Whatsapp requires VMC to run, so what can i do to get it back?
