setting up email on Nokia X2-01. I do not want to install gmail, yahoo, ovi or windows live. i want to install company email. It takes verything but when it needs to sign in I get the message "Could not sign in" Try again later. I tried everything I know, called noklia support, still nothing works. the softwares updated. There is not a security certificate on my website, so what is the problem?

View 7 Replies View RelatedI am trying to set up my outbound mail on Nolia Messaging with my mail provider, Virgin. I have found that when I synch the mailbox, the previoulsy read mail disappears. Virgin have recommended that the email address is prefixed with Recent: e.g recent:username@virgin.net. The problem with this is that the Virgin SMTP server does not recognise the email address when Recent is added and the outbound emails are not sent. I have tried using the T-Mobile SMTP server settings using the Nokia messaging portall by adding smtp.t-email.co.uk but this is not accepted when adding it into the server details. Anybody got any ideas - I am going crazy and being bounced between Nokia, T-Mobile and Virgin.

I am going in via the messaging section, i'm asked to define the mailbox which I do by using the email wizard, select yahoo mail and add my email address, click ok and every single time it just keeps coming back as "unable to connect to server. Try again later"
I can get on internet, OVI store, call, text and use WLAN but this just keeps coming up the same. Is there any way to rectify this or is there some other way I can set up a few email addresses (I tryed my google one too and got the same response)

I need help with the messaging -> email. I tried to set up personal email on my Nokia N97. I tried using Yahoo but it doesn't work. Then I tried using hotmail and it worked fine (but my hotmail is full of spam so I want to get my Yahoomail to work). It said that I have the username or password wrong. Could someone tell me what to type in?

My partner and I have both brought E71's, I set up access to my email easily then went to do my partners phone and we get up to the enter email address step and it kicks us out and wont let us enter a password or anything....

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have an imap email. This happily syncs with ipod, Nokia, Outlook, Palm, etc.When I go into the email app it asks for my email address and password which I fill in. On the next screen it asks for connection settings which I fill in. Pressing continue then brings up the message "Server not found. Check server addresses or edit email settings for manual setup."
I know the server can be found as everything else is happily syncing my email apart from the X10 mini pro. The issue may be that I haven't been able to set up the security settings (I need to log in to my outgoing mail server) but I can't find any other email settings other than just the options of typing in email, passowrd, selecting imap/pop and putting in server names.Laughably it seems the SE page on email doesn't even bother covering the setup.
I recently went through and organized my hotmail account. So if an email comes in from a certain email address it goes into a certain folder automatically instead of the regular inbox. Because of this I now no longer get those emails to my BB. I only get emails that still go to the general inbox.[URL].. and have attempted to set it up but it does not work, it says the only folders I have are inbox and spam, when in reality I have at least 10 other folders. I have tried to use the BB desktop manager thing but I get stuck at step 1 as I cannot find email settings anywhere in the program.
