My partner and I have both brought E71's, I set up access to my email easily then went to do my partners phone and we get up to the enter email address step and it kicks us out and wont let us enter a password or anything....

While doing so it gives message that my email is already linked with a nokia email account and it also ask me to login to email.nokia.com
Unfortunately I don't remember credentials of email.nokia.com and there is no link for forgot password.
I switched from Blackberry to Nokia.Earlier with my Blackberry phones I was able to open password protected files by supplying the password, but with my new E6-00, it doesnot give me an option of entering the password.It should provide you with an option of entering the password, as this is being marketed by Nokia as a smartphone?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI can view the person who had this phones email account, but I can't set my new one up. I use the "email setup wizard" go into it, connect, and then it asks me my email address, I enter the CORRECT one and that's as far as this thing will let me go. I don't even get to the part where it asks me for a Password. after I enter my email address it tries to connect to the server (which is yahoo mail) and then I get the message "Unable to connect to server. Try again later."....And that's all it keeps doing. I have no clue how to set up an email on this phone. I use it with my WAN connection and with my providers internet and get the same message both times.

The upgrade is currently at 11 out of 12 upgrades and it is taking about 45 minutes to initialize before it gives me the message: "The desktop loader is unable to connect to the device, you may need to enter a password on the device."
The BB is not asking for password and I do not have any password protection on it. I have unplugged the USB from computer and the phone, reconnected and clicked retry and it continues to give me the same message 45 minutes later. I am freaking out a bit because it cleared all my contacts off and I believe the process it is trying to do is to restore that information.

I believe I have downloaded and installed the right SIP Voip setting. Please correct me if I am wrong. I have downloaded SIP VoIP 3.x Settings (164 kb) from this page.
