I am trying to setup my hotmail on my E5 - 00.
While doing so it gives message that my email is already linked with a nokia email account and it also ask me to login to email.nokia.com
Unfortunately I don't remember credentials of email.nokia.com and there is no link for forgot password.
I am unable to use the Hotmail ActiveSync Feature. The settings for Mail for Exchange are:
Mail: name@live.de
Username: name@live.de
Password: xxxxxxxx
Domain: [leave blank]
and then Server: m.hotmail.com
The first sync is ok. Mail for Exchange shows me my mails.
But it keeps showing the error message: "Cant sync. Please contact Administrator...". And if I try to write an E-Mail it shows me: "Can't send E-Mail".
What's wrong with the Mail for Exchange ?
I need all my entries from there and when I add an entry on the e6, it will synch with my calendar.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI can view the person who had this phones email account, but I can't set my new one up. I use the "email setup wizard" go into it, connect, and then it asks me my email address, I enter the CORRECT one and that's as far as this thing will let me go. I don't even get to the part where it asks me for a Password. after I enter my email address it tries to connect to the server (which is yahoo mail) and then I get the message "Unable to connect to server. Try again later."....And that's all it keeps doing. I have no clue how to set up an email on this phone. I use it with my WAN connection and with my providers internet and get the same message both times.

On the next step it only gives me "exchange active sync" as an option and not the rest of the email providers as it does on my E6 for example.

I have recently purchased E5 but am unable to add email account. I start 'add email' application and follow entire process (e.g. typing my email account and password, etc.). But funny that the handset just takes me to first step again ('add email') and doesn't show my email added earlier - I even restarted the handset and checked various menu options; doesn't show anywhere.

Already after 3-4 days disappeared suddenly able to receive mail from my hotmail account, but luckily came back later in the day! So on Friday I got an email from nokia with the text below. I have accordingly made the following (but without result).First I tried to follow the recipe that is in the mail as described below. I first went into hotmail via my computer and changed the password. Then I went into settings on the phone and changed the password there without success.Then I tried to go into the settings in the phone and reset phone to factory mode 3-4 times then use the built-in wizard to configure my hotmail account and wait for the result without success.
I receive e-mails that are written below in Norwegian every day. When I go into the e-mail on mobile phone brings up the yellow / green circle in the corner which I interpret as if everything is ok with connecting to hotmail. But that is not receiving e-mail. Anybody can help me? Preferably by using the internal e-mail program.

I have a nokia E5 and have just updated (through Nokia Suite beta) the email application from 3.16.0 to 3.21.0. Since then all of my messages which contain html code are displayed as is, without the phone parsing the code. What I mean is instead of normal writing I just get html code.

When I press the EMail shortcut key, on the top right side of the keypad, this shortcut doesn't open the general EMail "folder" where I can see my GMail, Yahoo!, and Hotmail email accounts, instead it opens my Yahoo! email account directly, and I have to go back to the general "folder" to see my other email accounts...
I've tried playing with all the different options, but so far cannot make it work as I think it should be, which would be to go to the main EMail "folder", so I can choose which EMail account I want to open/synchronise, and not just opening the first EMail account I set up... Also, is not downloading the "Sent Items" folder, even though I chose "All" in What to download...
I have been using Nokia email messaging for a while now but suddenly today it is asking me for a Password. I understand that this should be the password for the first email account that I set up on the E71. I have tried this as well as the password for the other account with no success.

View 3 Replies View RelatedWhen I receive a call my screen automatically locks and darkens. Sliding the key lock switch to unlock the phone doesn't work. Not having access to the screen is a problem for two reasons: 1. I don't know who is calling me (as the screen is dark) 2. I cannot use any of the phones functions (i.e. speaker, conference calls, hold, etc.) This all started when I upgraded to Software Version 022.014 with Software Version Date 2011-07-05. Both points above were working before this update.

View 15 Replies View RelatedI've tried to update my E63 software using Nokia Suite v3.3.86 but in vain.
The steps I've followed in the 3rd step fo update process (i.e. Install) are as follows with screenshots attached:
1. It checks for valid installation file (see attached "Installation file validation.png"). Since the update has been downloaded by it previously, it proceeds to next step.
2. It starts preparing to install (see attached "Preparing to install.png").
3. It show USB connection active screen with a windows notification saying "Nokia E63 disconnected via USB" is seen on "Install screen". (see attached "Install Screen.png" for "Install Screen").
4. Next with the same USB connection active screen, a windows notification saying "Nokia E63 connected via USB" is seen on "Install screen".
5. The windows notification disappears and the screen is still at the "Install Screen" (see attached "Install Screen.png").
6. Nothing happens even after waiting for a long time. Clicking "Next" repeats the above mentioned process from step 2.
Dialing "*#0000#" gives the following info:

I'm unable to access contacts menu from menu>contacts or from button which i had assignet contacts menu. When i select contacts it only only the menu name "contacts" appears on top for 1 second and is returning to initial menu.

But every time it sync, I receive the following error "Unable to sync. Contact administrator if problem persists." All my data including calendar, contacts and also received mail, is synced except sent e-mails. I really need all this stuff being synced!
