I have 2 email accounts on my E5, gmail for personal use, mail for exchange for work use. Does anyone know if I can have seperate alert tones for the 2 accounts. I currently have the same tone for both accounts which is confusing when a new email comes through as I don't know which account to look in first, this happens at least every 10 minutes.

I have put a lot of music on my card into sparate folders and I would like to add those folders as separate playlists into my music player but all I can see in my music player is the nokia default ringtones on mass memory. I tried to refresh music library and nothing happens.

I know there has to be a way to have each contact have a different tone because it was added as far back as s3 which I also currently still own as well and would like to have my contacts all have different tones so I know who's texting me.

Since then all of my messages which contain html code are displayed as is, without the phone parsing the code. What I mean is instead of normal writing I just get html code.
View 19 Replies View RelatedAnyone got problem with emails not being updated correctly?Have 3 POP3 accounts in my E6 and tested sync "soonest" and "15min" and never updates it for new emails, not even when i hit "z" it seems to sync correctly.Even sometimes it does, the overview screen/Home screen is stuck with preview from old emails.Hate this because if the email does not work properly it is completely useless for me. This works perfect on my E71 and E72.

When I press the EMail shortcut key, on the top right side of the keypad, this shortcut doesn't open the general EMail "folder" where I can see my GMail, Yahoo!, and Hotmail email accounts, instead it opens my Yahoo! email account directly, and I have to go back to the general "folder" to see my other email accounts...
I've tried playing with all the different options, but so far cannot make it work as I think it should be, which would be to go to the main EMail "folder", so I can choose which EMail account I want to open/synchronise, and not just opening the first EMail account I set up... Also, is not downloading the "Sent Items" folder, even though I chose "All" in What to download...
I have been using Nokia email messaging for a while now but suddenly today it is asking me for a Password. I understand that this should be the password for the first email account that I set up on the E71. I have tried this as well as the password for the other account with no success.

While doing so it gives message that my email is already linked with a nokia email account and it also ask me to login to email.nokia.com
Unfortunately I don't remember credentials of email.nokia.com and there is no link for forgot password.
How do you create an email folder on the E7? When I try to save a received email, the only folder offered is the Inbox and obviously there is no point in saving it where it is already. There seems to be no way to create another folder (for example, one called Archive). Or where to find the existing folders through the phone browser on a pc?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI installed Nokia EMail Service at my E63 phone. I'm using WiFi to connect to mail server. I expect the following behavior: each 5 minutes (as defined in Settings) this Service should activate WiFi connection, connect to server, get new mail (if any), disconnect from server and (!) deactivate WiFi connection. However, I see that WiFi icon is shown on my main screen instantly - so the WiFi connection is always On and the phone is consuming the battery heavily.

I use the "email setup wizard" go into it, connect, and then it asks me my email address, I enter the CORRECT one and that's as far as this thing will let me go. I don't even get to the part where it asks me for a Password. after I enter my email address it tries to connect to the server (which is yahoo mail) and then I get the message "Unable to connect to server. Try again later."....And that's all it keeps doing. I have no clue how to set up an email on this phone. I use it with my WAN connection and with my providers internet and get the same message both times.

I have a Nokia E72-2 and I have configured an office account (mail for exchange), gmail and hotmail email. i also had configured a yahoo account but as it didn't work, I went o the settings and removed it.
Since that day, I have not been able to add any new account to the program. Whenever I go to add a new account I open the New mailbox, select anthing on the next screen (yahoo/gmail), it promps to enter email id and password, which i do. then there is a message "detecting email settings" and then it goes back to the screen where I selected yahoo/gmail. I have an IMAP email account. I use it to send and receive emails on my phone.The emails that I receive go to the "inbox" on the E52 and I can access that on my PC too.The emails that I send go to the "Sent items" folder on the E52 and not the IMAP sent folder.Ovi Suite will not let me download sent emails to my PC.

It appears that only the two email accounts set up on your home screen will actually set tone, vibrate and envelope icon alerts when receiving new email.The advertising blurb for the E5 states 10 email accounts can be set up on this phone with push notifications. What is the point in having push enabled accounts for 10 mailboxes if only two will give phone notifications?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm having real trouble trying to get any kind of push email on my Nokia E63. I'm in the UK and on firmware 410.21.010 with Nokia Email 9.06.16. According to the Nokia updating site this is the most recent firmware available for my serial number.The email setup just doesn't seem to work at all like the help docs here suggest. I get no option for 'Nokia Email Service' but I do get one for gmail. I can then setup my gmail box OK - but there is no setting for IMAP idle. It only allows me to set up a scheduled retrieval (at best every 5 minutes) and even then only downloads the headers so I have to manually download the message body. Does Nokia really not do push email at all?I've been using emoze as an alternative for a while - but stopped when I found that it was sending random email all by itself. And Mail for Exchange doesn't work with gmail for me - it just stops syncing after a while.

Originally I just thought it was just a small delay but almost a month later and still nothing. I have tried to receive manually, send a test email and deleted the account from my phone and reset it but nothing worked.
