All major Applications are installed in Mass Memory only. Is "Low Memory" issue due to Mail for Exchange? If so, is it possible to transfer / change the data of Mail Exchange to Mass Memory instead of Phone Memory?

View 5 Replies View RelatedVery often when i receive an SMS , my E72 freezes. The only way to recover from this is to turn phone off and on again.It looks like it happens when the sender is not in my phone-book .. and there is only a 'number' mentioned in 'From'.
(although i still can't update .. because the update for Vodafone branded phones is not available yet ... another BIG let down if u ask me .. Nokia should control this better).I don't know where I can report this problem. Nokia Care employees only know whats in their calling-script.

But then presented itself a problem: when I set a wallpaper, the upper and lower edges of the screen remained a blurry sort of thing, the same colour as the default background of the theme (in my case, it was the Golden Business). My question is whether this can be disabled? I searched, and I couldn't find.Also, writin' this on my Nokia E72 right now (yeah, advertising Nokia's product on their own site).

When I go in to Tools > Options then select Contacts and select Microsoft Outlook, Ovi Suite crashes. There is the first Nokia phone so there has been no other Nokia software installed on this PC before.
I can't find the voip setting app in Ctrl. panel. I have just updated to the latest firmware. I am using E72-2 RM-529. My software version is 081.003. I believe I have downloaded and installed the right SIP Voip setting. Please correct me if I am wrong. I have downloaded SIP VoIP 3.x Settings (164 kb) from this page. [URL]It installs fine but when I go in Ctrl. panel, its not there. I have checked in other menu such as Settings and Apps. menu but to no avail.I am under the impression that Nokia is blocking SIP clients on newer updates.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI installed a 32gb Kingston memory card on my E5, used the phone to format it and restored data manually from my old memory card via USB/PC.. and am having several issues.OviMaps is no longer displaying street maps !When I take pictures, ~1MB files are created on my memory card in the pictures folder, but they are not readable by the phone or a PC.Ovi Suite says everything is up to date, and E5 does not allow you to download specific maps.

Unfortunately all the pre-installed wallpapers and maybe something else useful, disappeared in the process of reverting to factory settings. The authenticationprotocol we're using is PEAP-MSCHAPv2. In short I can't seem to get it to work on either a Nokia E71 or E72 while it works perfectly on our laptops using either the native Microsoft WZC or Intel PROSet and on a HTC S740. In the NPS event log, the same event occurs 3 times (some information is obfuscated for obvious reasons), the critical part I guess is the last line "An internal error occurred". I can really only guess why there would be an internal error with the Nokia phones and not with any other phones or laptops. The eventlogentry on the Microsoft NPS:...............

I Have gone through the C memory and the below are the only items with any significant file size. Config = 86kb, Log = 157kb, Mail for exchange 26kb, Place widget 17kb, Sound files 118kb, adimagetemp 12kb, Bur_debug 43kb, debug.log 21kb, ka3d-log.txt 89kb, MdfpluginArchive.txt 27kb, Everything else is eithr 0 or bytes only, with about three more less than 10kb each.
what I can delete safely. I am no expert, however I do not see why the above quantity should be using up so much on the C memory?
I have taken back to factory settings and transferred data to PC under Nokia Suite Make Space option.
I would like to know if there is any way to disable 3g on this phone? I don't have a data plan and i would like to avoid overages.
