Jul 1, 2011there is no way to only sort by "album name", just a combination of "artist and album name" is accessible under options in the menu. This gives me problem since I have a lot of compilations with various artist names.I remember that it was some similar problems with 5800 XM, but fixed via an s/w release a long time ago...

Oct 23, 2012I keep getting the 'C' memory low message. I only have 17.7mb left I have most items on E mass memory. I Have gone through the C memory and the below are the only items with any significant file size. Config = 86kb, Log = 157kb, Mail for exchange 26kb, Place widget 17kb, Sound files 118kb, adimagetemp 12kb, Bur_debug 43kb, debug.log 21kb, ka3d-log.txt 89kb, MdfpluginArchive.txt 27kb, Everything else is eithr 0 or bytes only, with about three more less than 10kb each.
what I can delete safely. I am no expert, however I do not see why the above quantity should be using up so much on the C memory?
I have taken back to factory settings and transferred data to PC under Nokia Suite Make Space option.

Sep 22, 2011I sent my less-then week old E6 in for repair becuase of the restart-problem. I called them on monday, and was told I'd get a call from a cust service rep. I called again today (Thrusday), and was told someone would call w/in 48 hours. Remarkably, I actually received a call.
They could not fix the E6 They offered a new, not-refurb'd N8, and not an E6 as a replacement, citing the N8 as an "upgrade".
Figure that one out.Worst_Service_EVER I do not want the N8, as it has no qwerty keyboard, but that was the only option given. She gave me 2 days to call her back after thinking about it.

Apr 25, 2012Iv been using this phone for like 2 years and its working allright but since today i tried installing NetQin mobile guard on my phone but my phone got stuck and rebooted itself,after that it kept on turning on and rebooting itself.
i tried every method,hard reset,soft reset,taking out the sim card and memory then turning it on but no use! somthing must have gone wrong with the firmware but i cannot reinstall it because when ever i connect my phone with my pc and nokia pc suite,the phone doesnt stop rebooting so everytime the connection also fails.i dont understand that what should i do with my phone,i cannot find any solution to it.

After the trial period got over i purchased a new license and uninstalled the trial version. Dec 2, 2011Its been three month since i bought my Nokia E6, I was pretty happy with the phone uptil Yesterday.
I pulled down the screen lock rocker to check for any updates, but there was no display. the backlights were all on though, i tried swithcing off using the power button, but it wont switch off, so i removed the batt, after that the phone simply refused to boot up. when i pressed the power button it giave me the usual vibrartion and thats it. No display/backlight or anything. I tried removing the SIM and battery and then re-inserting just the battery and then turned it on but still same result. When i put it on charge it gives me the usual blip and the charging LED blinks at times..but the phone will not start up.

Feb 27, 2011I have just bought this Nokia E7 from Singapore. Since my purchase I have noticed my phone keeps on restarting all the time. When I am browsing through my contacts or going through my sms, all of sudden the screen goes white and the NOKIA logo comes and it restarts. Did a installation of firmware and hardreset too.I took it to Nokia Singapore and they kept the phone for a few hours and said the problem is solved. The problem still continues and Nokia Singapore cannot help me further.Also I cannot install Nokia OVI Application on my E7, it dowloads the file then says installation failed.
