What is a good app to listen to music to on the e71? Pandora doesn't work with this phone. And mobbler is only good for a one month free trial. Are there any good free music apps at all with this phone?
View 1 RepliesI have a nokia E71. I tried everything to transfer music from my pc to my phone memory but nothing goes in the music player I did refresh all I get is - 18 my music is on the phone but I can't get it in my music player.

But the genre does not appear. I listen to podcasts on a daily basis, and i have to play them manually. I only use the default music player on the e52.
View 3 Replies View RelatedAfter a recent update, my music library will no longer sync, nor does Ovi suite see any files on my E7 (which are really there). After attempting to sync, it will come up with the message "failure to sync". Oddly enough, contacts etc all sync without a problem and there is no problem listening to the music on the E7. I can copy music directly from Windows Mediaplayer, but that will cause the album not to show up in the albums on the E7 (though they are accessible through the file manager and then all works again.

View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen i connect my E71 device via the USB cable it shows in the Nokia suite that there is 352 songs on my device in the music libary, however when i go to the E71 and press refresh it only detects 140 songs ( these songs are derived from my memory card 8GB microSD . When i seem to try and refresh it after it had found the 140 songs it constantly has the 'Refreshing. Added: 0.' searching for music. How do i get it to detect the full 352 that it shows in my Nokia suite and that i have in the actual device.

The problem is that the music player on the phone only looks in the folder called "Soundfiles" ("Lydfiler" in danish). The only way to make the music from "Music" available to the player, is to move it by the help of the FIlemanager on the phone. It can't be moved by the help of a file handler application in Ovi Suite.

I thought that if I reinstall the device software then it will be solved. But alas! I can't reinstall device software with NSU or Ovi suit (latest version).I am using the latest firmwae 071.004 (rm-469) I updated this firmware 10 days ago. Before this update the problem was happening and still happening after the latest firmware installed.
View 16 Replies View RelatedI just bought an E55, my first impressions are excellent, except for one thing: the volume of the music player when using the provided headset is too low! Also trying other headsets didn't help much.When setting the maximum volume, it can be ok for a quiet environment such as home, but it's still useless on the road, in the underground, and in other noisy environments where the ambient noise covers the music.The same files play much louder when using the same headset on my old Nokia 5300.I also tried playing around with the equalizer but it didn't help. Is there any way to work around this? Some hidden settings? Some other music player I can install? Some better headset?

Whenever I open a playlist in the music player, and press a letter (to search for that letter), the music player crashes. It doesn't crash if the playlist is small though (I'm not sure what the limit is). Has anyone else experienced this?

I start the home media app, browse servers and find my Synology NAS that is connected to my router. I select it and see its shared folders. I select the music folder and see all the artists and songs on my NAS server. So far so good. When I select a song a question pops up "Select device: (no servers found)". Can someone help me? I don't know if it's the phone, the router or the NAS that needs configuring.

I Have gone through the C memory and the below are the only items with any significant file size. Config = 86kb, Log = 157kb, Mail for exchange 26kb, Place widget 17kb, Sound files 118kb, adimagetemp 12kb, Bur_debug 43kb, debug.log 21kb, ka3d-log.txt 89kb, MdfpluginArchive.txt 27kb, Everything else is eithr 0 or bytes only, with about three more less than 10kb each.
what I can delete safely. I am no expert, however I do not see why the above quantity should be using up so much on the C memory?
I have taken back to factory settings and transferred data to PC under Nokia Suite Make Space option.
I would like to know if there is any way to disable 3g on this phone? I don't have a data plan and i would like to avoid overages.
