I wish to disable the light time-out mechanism on the Symbian Ann music player. I would like this so that I can change tracks on my phone while in the car. How should I accomplish this?

I tried to refresh music library and nothing happens.
View 1 Replies View RelatedMy brand new E7's "light time-out" is not funtioniong; no matter how I adjust it (anywhere from 5-60 secs). The only way it goes off is when the device is screen locked either manually or automatically which I think it's too long (minimum 1 min).
So, I sent it to a Nokia Care Center and they couldn't solve it saying it is the phone's default feature which I disagree.
Out of curiosity I tested a few E7s to a total of 15 todate and voila! IT IS NOT WORKING AS WELL! I can conclude this is a flaw in if not all but almost all E7s?
When i connect my E71 device via the USB cable it shows in the Nokia suite that there is 352 songs on my device in the music libary, however when i go to the E71 and press refresh it only detects 140 songs ( these songs are derived from my memory card 8GB microSD . When i seem to try and refresh it after it had found the 140 songs it constantly has the 'Refreshing. Added: 0.' searching for music. How do i get it to detect the full 352 that it shows in my Nokia suite and that i have in the actual device.

I configured my nokia e5 exchange mail and it prompt me change the security code (alias lock code) and ever since, the cellphone locks itself after 40 minutes and I have to be entering the code when this happens, also it requests for the code when I turn on the device. By the way, where should notification light be appear on phone? (center button?) When there is message or missed call, I cannot see any light come up on any part of phone.
Previously I had to format and factory reset my nokia e7 , after the format I found out that when I send and SMS and I receive the delivery , the notification light start blinking , and as soon as I touch the touch screen or press on any of the phone buttons ( like the home key, volume or unlock ) it stops blinking , I'm sure it only has to blink when I receive an SMS , not when I receive a delivery.

It tries once but the brackets remain white and focus is not fixed, if i take the photo it is blurry.

One of the most annoying features i found so far is that phone's keypad light doesn't turn on when you want to type the passcode for unlocking the phone. Even if you manage to unlock & want to type an SMS or a browser URL, still the keypad light is OFF. This makes it really annoying & next to impossible to type proper keys in darkness.When you leave the phone without touching any keys till its screen goes little dimmer, then when you press any navigation keys, then the keypad light actually turns on!

I see that call someone is calling but no sound comes out of phone (I can answer call and all is OK). I tried to change profiles General/Meeting but anyway after change I make test call and still no sound. Only thing that help is switch off and back on.
