I Purchased Nokia E5 on 1 May 2012 , Now a day's ITs going in Hanging state many time in a day ,Sometime I need to restart It.I reset it to factory setting but, no help.

View 5 Replies View RelatedThe brand new E7 is constantly hanging. Some thimes, to call out, i need to restart the device 5-6 times. This is like on messaging, its hanging, and if it hangs, the only thing that helps is to restart the device.I have made a software update after i got it, but that dindt help.The device is not always like that, somedays it works fine, but then it can have a day with hanging and freezing the whole time.I have not installed any 3PD software.
View 16 Replies View RelatedI brought my E7 middle of May this year. I was happy in a few weeks, then the phone totally hanged. It was sent to service, and the whole hardware was changed to new.
Now it have worked very good in a long time, with only small issues that could be related to that i do many tasks a time etc that may do it slower and hanging in a few secs a time.
Middle of the day today, the phone started with a very confusing thing. I sent SMS, and i didnt understand that the reciver dosnt answared me. I restarted the phone. Now i got a lot of new SMS. I answared. It took a while, so i restarted the phone again, and then i got the answare.
And a rare thing. When i got the SMS when phone is on again, is that the time of reciving SMS was WHEN the phone WAS on before i restarted. So the phone gets the SMSes, but dosnt show or give any sign about that i have new!
I bought a brand new E7 2 weeks ago, I was really impressed with it but unfortunately it did not last for long, after 2 DAYS of usage and while browsing on using any of the device functions (turn off the alarm for example) the device hangs and then restarts by itself!I sent it to Nokia care and they return it back to me after reinstalling the software.But once I returned back home the device did the same problem. On the day the contract ended, the phone started dropping calls mid conversation and then switching itself off everytime I answered or tried to make a call. I read a number of entries on a variety of forums, backed up the data on the phone and did a factory restore. Now, when i turn the phone on, as soon as I push a button the phone turns off.

I see that call someone is calling but no sound comes out of phone (I can answer call and all is OK). I tried to change profiles General/Meeting but anyway after change I make test call and still no sound. Only thing that help is switch off and back on.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have used E63 before E72 and there was an option in E63 that as I selected to Synchronise after 30 Minutes then GPRS will disconnect and will be reconnect after 30 minutes and synchronise and disconnect.But in E72 GPRS all the time connected and sychronise. Is it possible that GPRS connect only the time at which we specified e.g. after 30 minutes.

However today when I tried to open the web browser the O2 homepage doesn't load as usual, and instead I keep getting a message saying "Internet Connection: Time-Out". I have never had any problem with the internet before, my default access point is set to O2 Active as this is my carrier. The second access point is my wireless network. I just tried connecting through the wireless network and that works fine, so any ideas why I can't connect through O2 Active?I haven't changed the settings or anything like that so I'm quite confused as to why it isn't working.

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy brand new E7's "light time-out" is not funtioniong; no matter how I adjust it (anywhere from 5-60 secs). The only way it goes off is when the device is screen locked either manually or automatically which I think it's too long (minimum 1 min).
So, I sent it to a Nokia Care Center and they couldn't solve it saying it is the phone's default feature which I disagree.
Out of curiosity I tested a few E7s to a total of 15 todate and voila! IT IS NOT WORKING AS WELL! I can conclude this is a flaw in if not all but almost all E7s?
Is there a way to check the uptime (time since the last restart) on a Nokia E52?

but it keeps restarting randomally,, so it can be a 5minutes period or even working for 3 hours but at the end it keeps restarting for no reason..
i even tried to send it it to the repair shop, and all they can do is changing the cover ($40)

First it was only one, with a Firmware version of 13.something, repeating every now and then. Now also my E7 (firmware 014.002) did the same, the time and date changing today afernoon to be March 1st, 2011 at 15:20, even though in reality it is May 26th, 2011 at 17:58.
Oddly enough, the firmware date is 2011-03-01. Does the phone somehow resort to the time of the firmware release?
anyone know if it's possible to reduce the autolock time period on Nokia E72 to less than 1 minute (such as immediately or 30 secs)?

Before I went to bed, I set the clock back one hour and made sure that the phone had all automatic time changes OFF since I've had problems before with this (only with Nokia, worth mentioning). On the morning of the 30th, my collegue calls me and wonders if I am at work. Turns out the stupid phone set the time back one hour as well without informing that such a thing would happen!
