I have a small problem with the message details on text messages specially the time. When I receive text messages, it shows the right time (current time) in the inbox but when I try to check the time with message details, Its late by 4 Hours. I tried using my time zone, turn off autoupdate, etch and it seems nothing happened, its still the same.

View 2 Replies View RelatedMy iPhone 3GS is set to change time automatically with the Daylight Savings change. That worked as the phone time itself is correct, but the times for the different places in the built-in World Clock app are still off by an hour (they are on the old time). This is also true of my husband's iPhone 3G. Strangely, I have an iPod touch that adjusted both its system time and the World Clock times without difficulty.
I have tried syncing the phone, toggling on/off the update time automatically, and rebooting, but the time is still incorrect. If I try adding a new place, it will also have the wrong time.
There may also be an issue with other apps - the ESPN app had the start time of a game today off by an hour as well.
Does anyone have any ideas as to how to fix this?
Edit: To clarify, the times are wrong for US cities that do observe DST, such as New York, Chicago, etc.

The Time Zone is Correct But Still Showing Incorrect Time.
The Clock Running Slow, Sometimes 1 & 1/2 Hours Times Back & Sometimes 2 Hours Back.

I've been using my Nokia C5-00 for about a year now without any problems. Recently however, it started to show wrong time (like it was going too fast). The offset is usually about 15-30 minutes forward. Initially I thought that its just few seconds per minute faster than it should be (like a normal mechanism watch) and I tried to explain it with processor clock being somehow off, but I noticed that it must at one point just skip these several minutes.
I've never spotted this "skipping" explicitly but it happens once per 10-15 hours, I guess. E.g. it shows proper time the whole day and when I go to sleep but next morning its off several minutes. It happens both with automatic time update On and Off. I haven't updated my software for a couple of months now, but the one I got is up to date (according to Ovi).
I have nokia 5800 it have a problem the time cannot be set it just say ** system error**. Now I can't even install whatsapp on it. I think its because of the time settings. I did reset the phone still no change....

View 3 Replies View Relatedi was updating my e63 yesterday to v400 and at about 2 min left, my software updater roze and the phone stuck at blank screen. i pressed green, 3 and * button as it was xplained in faq, and i was able to boot up my phone. now, few things are missing,ike tiger woods game, facebook, Internet applications. they have shortcuts but not on the phone, maybe something else, but this things are noticeable. i can live with it, but what i can't live is connecting this phone to pc and sync, and future updates. ftware updater won't recognize the phone anymore giving me error "unable to retrieve device information". i disconnected the battery, tried to reinstall ovi suite and software pdater, but nothing works. today i took my phone to work, and was trying to run ater on this computer with clean install (never had any nokia software on isachine). same error message "unable to retrieve device information". the updater suggest to install updater (done!), unplug the usb (done!), remove battery for 10 sec nothing seems to work. well, the phone still works, even though i lost wlan in one of the restarts, but overall the phone is functional. i made calls, sent messages, installed few applications, listening radio right now.

is some of the dialled number is called again, then the right icon is shown.
I have a Nokia E7 product code 059F7J6 (language set 014.002.09.01). Phone language and writing language is set to english but I have a problem with the QWERTY keypad. Keypad special characters (the one in yellow) on the keypad do not correspond with the special characters printed on the screen. Example letter D should print "&" as a special character instead it prints "=". It's the with almost all other characters. I am not sure whether this is a language pack problem or not.

I just bought a brand new iPhone 4S. While I was registering it in iTunes I accidentally pressed submit while filling out my address so it's wrong. It's got my correct street address but the wrong city and state. (I'm an idiot). How can I go back and fix this without having to restore my phone as new and lose all my contacts?

I recently got the E7-00, everything is good except When i use ovi suite or other application to connect to the internet, i cant receive calls(service provider deems that i am unavailable), once i disconnect internet connection i am able to receive calls again, i never had this problem with my n95 or my e75

Already after 3-4 days disappeared suddenly able to receive mail from my hotmail account, but luckily came back later in the day! So on Friday I got an email from nokia with the text below. I have accordingly made the following (but without result).First I tried to follow the recipe that is in the mail as described below. I first went into hotmail via my computer and changed the password. Then I went into settings on the phone and changed the password there without success.Then I tried to go into the settings in the phone and reset phone to factory mode 3-4 times then use the built-in wizard to configure my hotmail account and wait for the result without success.
I receive e-mails that are written below in Norwegian every day. When I go into the e-mail on mobile phone brings up the yellow / green circle in the corner which I interpret as if everything is ok with connecting to hotmail. But that is not receiving e-mail. Anybody can help me? Preferably by using the internal e-mail program.
