had to disconnect the phone after 3 hours of installation - seems that the phone never turned on after resetting! Phone is now dead! I get it to vibrate and the USB light flasshing for about 30 seconds, but nothing else. does not want to connect to OVI again.
View 2 Repliesi was updating my e63 yesterday to v400 and at about 2 min left, my software updater roze and the phone stuck at blank screen. i pressed green, 3 and * button as it was xplained in faq, and i was able to boot up my phone. now, few things are missing,ike tiger woods game, facebook, Internet applications. they have shortcuts but not on the phone, maybe something else, but this things are noticeable. i can live with it, but what i can't live is connecting this phone to pc and sync, and future updates. ftware updater won't recognize the phone anymore giving me error "unable to retrieve device information". i disconnected the battery, tried to reinstall ovi suite and software pdater, but nothing works. today i took my phone to work, and was trying to run ater on this computer with clean install (never had any nokia software on isachine). same error message "unable to retrieve device information". the updater suggest to install updater (done!), unplug the usb (done!), remove battery for 10 sec nothing seems to work. well, the phone still works, even though i lost wlan in one of the restarts, but overall the phone is functional. i made calls, sent messages, installed few applications, listening radio right now.

is some of the dialled number is called again, then the right icon is shown.
I have a Nokia E7 product code 059F7J6 (language set 014.002.09.01). Phone language and writing language is set to english but I have a problem with the QWERTY keypad. Keypad special characters (the one in yellow) on the keypad do not correspond with the special characters printed on the screen. Example letter D should print "&" as a special character instead it prints "=". It's the with almost all other characters. I am not sure whether this is a language pack problem or not.

View 2 Replies View RelatedDone a few of these now on my E72 so thought it would be plain sailing. Wrong. The process obviously froze, I gave it plenty of time. The screen said if necessary remove battery etc and reconnect USB lead which is what I did.The phone is now dead other than vibrating as you turn it on. I've tried a hard reset by holding shift, space and backspace while powering up but nothing (other than the vibrate).

Ovistore_32prdSrv_1_22_014.sisx) so I downloaded and installed it.It stores cache on the phone memory in a directory imagecache/Juniper and is full of all the icon pictures of apps on the nokia store.so the phone memory is filling up.
EVEN WORSE.If I go into my pictures gallery they are all being displayed there!!!

This morning at around 6am the phone was beeping or something so i put it on charge, i was too tired to realize the kind of sound it was so i put it on charge and went back to sleep and found it off later on, i tried hard resetting it, putting it on charge, but it won't come on.I lost connection to my phone during the installation of the update but after doing the the installation process it worked fine)

Now I have problems:
1. connecting to WIFI, my phone finds my wifi network, I can connect to it, but soon the connection is lost and when I try to connect again - it finds the same network - market as unknown, (it does not remember the wepkey,
2. browsing the internet - problem because loosing connection to wifi network.
3. setting gmail only through wifi - I can set it up, when trying to download any mails, I get a notice- mobile connection is unavailable, but I cannot set it to connect via wifi - as I had it set with Anna.
4. connection settings for phone and apps - I have less settings, cannot set it as I could with Anna.
