i've recently updated my E71 firmware to 500.21.009 RM-346 however a bug experienced from the very beginning still exists. My DIALLED NUMBERS log shows only mobile phone icons altough some of them are fixed phone, business phone...therefore they should use differen icons.
is some of the dialled number is called again, then the right icon is shown.
I am using e72 since 1 month. My phone call logs gets deleted automatically as the day starts. I have set the call log duration to 30 days. My phone software version is 031.023 date31/03/2010.

View 9 Replies View Relatedi was updating my e63 yesterday to v400 and at about 2 min left, my software updater roze and the phone stuck at blank screen. i pressed green, 3 and * button as it was xplained in faq, and i was able to boot up my phone. now, few things are missing,ike tiger woods game, facebook, Internet applications. they have shortcuts but not on the phone, maybe something else, but this things are noticeable. i can live with it, but what i can't live is connecting this phone to pc and sync, and future updates. ftware updater won't recognize the phone anymore giving me error "unable to retrieve device information". i disconnected the battery, tried to reinstall ovi suite and software pdater, but nothing works. today i took my phone to work, and was trying to run ater on this computer with clean install (never had any nokia software on isachine). same error message "unable to retrieve device information". the updater suggest to install updater (done!), unplug the usb (done!), remove battery for 10 sec nothing seems to work. well, the phone still works, even though i lost wlan in one of the restarts, but overall the phone is functional. i made calls, sent messages, installed few applications, listening radio right now.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI have a Nokia E7 product code 059F7J6 (language set 014.002.09.01). Phone language and writing language is set to english but I have a problem with the QWERTY keypad. Keypad special characters (the one in yellow) on the keypad do not correspond with the special characters printed on the screen. Example letter D should print "&" as a special character instead it prints "=". It's the with almost all other characters. I am not sure whether this is a language pack problem or not.

When I receive text messages, it shows the right time (current time) in the inbox but when I try to check the time with message details, Its late by 4 Hours. Now I am left with three PGA game icons in my installations folder and none of them works... I also tried to uninstall the game, but only one of the icons allows uninstall and that too it gives an error halfway thru, saying 'Removing Failed!'...I've tried Nokia MIDlet restorer, but that didn't work either...

When I got it the main menu was there and I was able to switch between personal and professional Modi.Then I restored contacts etc from a backup from when it ran 071.014.Now it is impossible to switch btw. pers. and prof. modi. Even when I click the prof. modi it stays "personal".furthermore, the icons on the first page has disappeared, and it is no longer possible to add any in the modi menu, (there is no "data window" in the Program shorcuts entry, so there is no way to add entries).

View 6 Replies View Relatedwhen i receive an sms it only shows the number that send it, but that number is in my contactlist. I would expect that it would show the contact name. All sms message so far show only the number, except from 1 person. But i cannot figure out why it is not matching up the rest. I tried different phonenumber possibilities to put in the contact: I tried: erasing the contact, and add it via the sms menu option(add to contacts) erasing all sim contact to have no duplicates. upgrading to the latest firmware version. rebooting the phone,remove battery,add batterij, restart but nothing seem to fix the issue. Another symptom is that when sending an sms to a person it shows the contact list name in the sent items, but when that person replies the inbox shows again only the number.

In disbelief, I've let the phone restart, made sure no programs were open, and that the phone had finished starting up before going to 'call' and pressing numbers. ANY number, from 1 to 0, gives that restart.I've tried a restoring to factory settings. No joy. I'm reluctant to do a complete hard reset as I have a fair amount of data on the phone.

View 4 Replies View Related3 months after purchase of our E5 it starts to act strange. No issues when using the phone, except one.
Often when dialing a number (or just entering the digit) that starts with a "1", the phone will freeze, sometimes only recoverable by removing the battery. If you start with any other digit, there is no issue at all.
Loving my new S6, battery ok for me, thought lack of SD slot would bother me but not actually missing it even though only using 32GB model. Screen is awesome along with the camera, can leave my slr at home now and use the S6 for casual photos... One thing I would love to see Samsung implement is in the phone logs, I would love to see all calls from the same number grouped and the time and date of the call alongside. Its a little annoying when a umber has called you multiple times in one day and there is a logged separate entry for each call. That is my only improvement for me.

It happened a week ago and then after 3 -4 restarts came back to normal. But its happened again and is very frustrating coz am unable to dial any new numbers. View 5 Replies View RelatedWhen I used the iPhone with new SIM card, it logged my "temporary number" as my phone number, iMessage phone number, and FaceTime phone number.When my real number was updated instead of the temporary number in the mobile carrier (calling someone showed them my real number), the iPhone still showed the temporary phone number in Phone Settings, iMessage and FaceTime.I corrected the phone number in the Phone Settings, and tried the instructions of previous answered-questions about this issue:
-> to turn off FaceTime and iMessage, then re-activate them, and wait for the phone-number-activation to fail (but for me, after several trials, I still did not have the option to moderate the phone number of iMessage).
I tried reseting the Network Settings. I tried removing the SIM card. I tried doing all of these things in different orders. I tried turning off-on-off-on-off-on-off the iMessage and FaceTime many times. I tried changing the phone number in my Apple ID web account.Nothing seems to work. I still cannot change the phone number in my iMessage settings.

When i bought my iphone i kept my old number for ease but when i have synced to itunes it is showing the number given with the phone which has never before been a problem but now i have updated to 5.1 it is causing a problem with imessages as it is sending them to other iphones as my original iphone number causing people to think i had changed number. I have disabled i messages for now until i can fix. my itunes account has my number i use so not sure what to do next?

I've ported over my old number to orange and all seems ok but When i press the green phone button and the list of recent calls comes up the number displayed in the "my number" line at the top of the screen is the number i had before my number was ported over. I've contacted Orange and they sent me a text to update my settings. This didn't solve the problem. I have noticed when i do make a call the correct number is displayed on the right hand side of the screen (in call).How do i ge the "my numnber" line to display my correct number?

Recently when I try to call my voicemail it calls my home telephone number. The speed dial "w" key indicates my cell phone number, but when I try to call it, it calls my home number. Also, if I manually dial in my cell phone number and hit send, it still calls my home telephone number.
