I just bought a brand new iPhone 4S. While I was registering it in iTunes I accidentally pressed submit while filling out my address so it's wrong. It's got my correct street address but the wrong city and state. (I'm an idiot). How can I go back and fix this without having to restore my phone as new and lose all my contacts?

I have a small problem with the message details on text messages specially the time. When I receive text messages, it shows the right time (current time) in the inbox but when I try to check the time with message details, Its late by 4 Hours. I tried using my time zone, turn off autoupdate, etch and it seems nothing happened, its still the same.

But she wanted the white one so we swapped and have since restored all her data to the white on and mine to the black. All is well except when I go to buy an app it brings up my wife's apple ID and asks for her password instead of mine. I assume this is because the carrier registered the serials to our names, or am I being daft here? Basically m iPhone has all my details except when I go to buy an app it things I'm my wife. How do I swap this over?

Ok can somebody please help me as I am literally about to break my iPhone off the wall in temper!.
I got an 4s and was able to download apps since I have bought it. I entered my boyfriends VISA card details as a payment method and we tried to buy an app for a joke even though there was no money in his account at the time. Now i can't download any Apps at all when i try to do so it asks me to enter my apple id password as usual which i do then another pop up comes up saying: Sign in Required:Tap Continue and sign in to view billing information. Even though the apps im trying to download are free?.
I dont have any other account details to give as Apple wont accept Laser card.. Can anybody please enlighten me as to what is going on.. its such a bloody complicated process!!!

I was recently roaming on my iphone 4, and was replying to a text when i saw the name at the top change to a number?
A little later i tried to retrive a telephone number and the person that i was looking for was no longer there? Upon futher checking i found that a number of recently added numbers (back about 3 to 4 months) had also disapeared?
I thought that it may have been something to do with roaming in another country, but back home now and contact have still not returned.
About the same time back as above, i added a gmail (New job) account, and on checking in gmail i have found that the telephone numbers are also missing from my contact details within my gmail account, of the contacts that i set up since starting this account?
Icloud is turned on and when i checked my hotmail account the contact information is stored there?

While creating Applle ID was forced to add the credit card details on Iphone which was purchased yesterday . After creating an ID , transaction of 1 Rs was made on Credit card. Today when i removed the details after visiting Itune store settings again RS 51.60 was debited . Any reason why when i have made no purchases ? This is a Risk and want it to sorted .

My IPhone 4 connected to my mac today. Took a call, then looked through my phone and all the phone numbers have lost there contact name details. It seems that the problem is related to Sync as my contacts are located via microsoft outlook. But sync details are turned on and they are not syncing. Have backed up office 2011 and reinstalled fresh, and still not syncing is happening. So that would say that this is not an office related software issue. I'm lost to backup all and start from scratch.

I am trying to get my phone to connect up to SIP but I keep getting error messages. I can use the same connections I am feeding it within fring without any issue, but it just won't allow me to connect using the built-in SIP client.
Can anyone offer some words of wisdom as to what might be going on? I did upgrade my firmware to some 400.x version which, may or may not have killed the deal.
I've spoken with two of my SIP providers and both of them are stumped. There are a billion reports of Nokia users having this issue. I called technical support at Nokia but they were no help at all. I think there are some language barriers that just aren't clicking.
Everything else on the phone seems just fine. Just can't connect using SIP. I would just bite the bullet and use fring for my VoIP calls but I really like how the SIP client is integrated right into the OS of the phone.
Well i need to set up my email account for my coursework and everytime i try to do it i get a message up saying it is un able to vitrify my email account i have tried different accounts even setting up new ones but i still have the same problem?

Just did a battery pull with OS 5.0.0.419 and for the first time since the upgrade there was no email about registering with the network after the unit booted up!! Maybe it stops after a while.

View 1 Replies View RelatedSince I installed 6.0 last weekend, I have been receiving ~ 6 "Your device has been registered with the wireless network" messages every day.I work in a building that has spotty reception and these messages only appear on work days - when I evidently lose and regain network connectivity.I never received these messages with the previous OS (5-something, whatever was installed on my Bold 9650 as received from Verizon a few months ago).Does anyone know why I am now receiving these messages? I also lose my login information for Facebook each time I lose connectivity.This never happened prior to installing 6.0 either.Sometimes when I select the FB icon, a little spinning clock icon appears and I have to pull the battery to un-freeze the phone.Also - though this happened with 6.0 as well as the previous OS - I get all these crazy notifications/ texts informing me that I have a voicemail, etc. when the voicemail icon already clearly indicates that I have a voicemail!
