Does the Nokia E6 show the time sent of the message? or just the Time received? This is whenever your turn off then someone sends an SMS. After turning on, what does the time indicate in the message details?

When I receive text messages, it shows the right time (current time) in the inbox but when I try to check the time with message details, Its late by 4 Hours. I tried using my time zone, turn off autoupdate, etch and it seems nothing happened, its still the same.
View 5 Replies View RelatedThe text messages/SMS on my new nokia 6700 slide only show the time when they arrived on the phone e.g.. when it was switched on, not when the message was sent.All my phones before this one showed the sending time. Which makes perfect sense - in case a message like "I'll be there in 30 min." is not delivered directly.Even the message details only show the time the message arrived on the phone.I cannot believe this.Has anybody found a solution to this, yet?

View 1 Replies View RelatedHave set up e-mail access on my E72-1 (updated with the latest Sofware and e-mail program) again after trying different methods to correct various imperfections). And now register that the e-mail program simply cuts sentences and words in e-mails I send from my PC. Sometimes the text is not displayed at all.
I send email from Thunderbird (v.17.0, released: November 20, 2012). And I've tried different settings for the format I send e-mails without success. When I send from a hotmail account or gmail account from the internet, there are no problems.
after I updated my Nokia E6 to the recent software, it doesnt show the callers names when receiving a call and when receiving an sms. I have to save the same number twice, once with international prefix example +963 (thats for my home country) and once without. When receiving calls it show the name only if saved without the prefix (unless its an international call) and when receiving sms it shows the name only when its saved with the international prefix. I didnt have that problem before the update!

After updating to the last firmware, the browser doesn't show the status bar, it just shows a "white" space.It happens just after the first restart I have to do after a hard reset.I have tried without installing a program and it still happens.

I see that call someone is calling but no sound comes out of phone (I can answer call and all is OK). However today when I tried to open the web browser the O2 homepage doesn't load as usual, and instead I keep getting a message saying "Internet Connection: Time-Out". I have never had any problem with the internet before, my default access point is set to O2 Active as this is my carrier. The second access point is my wireless network. I just tried connecting through the wireless network and that works fine, so any ideas why I can't connect through O2 Active?I haven't changed the settings or anything like that so I'm quite confused as to why it isn't working.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI receive messages from people hours after they tell me they sent them but when I receive them it has the current time listed, as if it was just sent. It would be fantastic to know the msg was sent at 10am and now being 2:30pm, I can have a better reply. It's definitely with the phone, because I know a few of the people have the same service provider but different phones. When messages are received on my wifes phone, it shows when they were sent, not the current time. I've looked at my settings but do not see a way to change this, is there a way?

I've got a Nokia E6-00. Sending messages and calling works fine. Receiving messages is a problem. When I ask someone to send me a text message, it doesn't come in either until I reboot my phone or until I open "sim messages". I've removed F-secure, rebooted several times and tried other sim cards from other providers. The problem is always present, regardless of simcard, provider or message length. I have enough memory left on the phone and the sim card.

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy brand new E7's "light time-out" is not funtioniong; no matter how I adjust it (anywhere from 5-60 secs). The only way it goes off is when the device is screen locked either manually or automatically which I think it's too long (minimum 1 min).
So, I sent it to a Nokia Care Center and they couldn't solve it saying it is the phone's default feature which I disagree.
Out of curiosity I tested a few E7s to a total of 15 todate and voila! IT IS NOT WORKING AS WELL! I can conclude this is a flaw in if not all but almost all E7s?
Having problems with the E7 caller ID? Randomly the phone doesn't show the callers name, even if he/she is listed on my phonebook. This is not related to duplicate entries, because it works right after phone restart, but fails randomly. The SMS list is also affected, but not all the time. Few times a have seen a call come in and not show the name of the caller. After I have missed that call, I'll go to the missed calls list and there is the name of the caller?!
