I have used E63 before E72 and there was an option in E63 that as I selected to Synchronise after 30 Minutes then GPRS will disconnect and will be reconnect after 30 minutes and synchronise and disconnect.But in E72 GPRS all the time connected and sychronise. Is it possible that GPRS connect only the time at which we specified e.g. after 30 minutes.

View 12 Replies View RelatedI have observed a weird behavior of the latest Nokia Social. When I quit the application, the phone does not go offline permanently. In fact, the connection is terminated for about a second and reinitiated instantly. This behavior seems to be infinite. Terminating the connection in the connection manager does not keep the phone offline, since the connection is reinitiated instantly. The only way to revert the phone in a normal offline state is to restart it.
I have reinstalled the application - no luck.
I have observed this issue after running an update on both Symbian (Anna update) and the Social app. I am not sure, if this is somehow related to Symbian Anna.
It would be helpful to see if the problem can be reconstructed with and without the new Symbian Anna.
This issue makes the Social app quite useless, since I don't want to restart my phone every time after running it and I do not want to drain my battery with the reconnection orgy neither.
I Purchased Nokia E5 on 1 May 2012 , Now a day's ITs going in Hanging state many time in a day ,Sometime I need to restart It.I reset it to factory setting but, no help.

I see that call someone is calling but no sound comes out of phone (I can answer call and all is OK). I tried to change profiles General/Meeting but anyway after change I make test call and still no sound. Only thing that help is switch off and back on.

However today when I tried to open the web browser the O2 homepage doesn't load as usual, and instead I keep getting a message saying "Internet Connection: Time-Out". I have never had any problem with the internet before, my default access point is set to O2 Active as this is my carrier. The second access point is my wireless network. I just tried connecting through the wireless network and that works fine, so any ideas why I can't connect through O2 Active?I haven't changed the settings or anything like that so I'm quite confused as to why it isn't working.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI removed my memory card to upload some pics to my computer cause my usb port does not work anymore and since I didn't get around to doing this quickly, I've been using the phone without the memory card. It has been a week and not one instance of freezing up. I put my card in about 2 hours ago just to see if it was fixed and it just now froze again. This obviously is not a solution but it leads me to believe that probably an app or some misc thing on my card is causing this. There is plenty of memory left on the card by the way. Now if I could only find the right settings to install hotmail, rocketmail (yahoo), ovi and gmail mail boxes. I have the issue where the mail boxes never appear after setup.

This happened twice on two different Verizon phones. One after a while was fine again sending messages normally while the other one still has the problem. View 1 Replies View RelatedI am using a Nokia e63. At first, my WhatsApp wouldn't open and my phone is really slow anyway. So I synced my contacts, messages, photos and videos to my Nokia Suite, then did a hard reset to my phone; the *#7370#. When it's back on, I try to use messaging but it won't open. Downloaded WhatsApp again and it worked fine. Synced all nicely except for the messages. Guess it's because the messaging won't open. What's wrong with it. Furthermore, there's also other software that is preinstalled when I got it that won't open but I don't use them anyway. But I need my messaging. So please help.Also did the hard and soft reset again, still won't open. Got my friend to send me a text to see if I can receive it but I can't. So messaging not opening, not receiveing text, can't read texts since the program won't open.

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy brand new E7's "light time-out" is not funtioniong; no matter how I adjust it (anywhere from 5-60 secs). The only way it goes off is when the device is screen locked either manually or automatically which I think it's too long (minimum 1 min).
So, I sent it to a Nokia Care Center and they couldn't solve it saying it is the phone's default feature which I disagree.
Out of curiosity I tested a few E7s to a total of 15 todate and voila! IT IS NOT WORKING AS WELL! I can conclude this is a flaw in if not all but almost all E7s?
