I have an E71-2 NAM RM-357 and it is7 months old. Nolkia Messaging started tunring on by itself and it also restarts by istelf once in a while. I have firmware 400.21.010 and I believe that there is a 400.21.013 availabe but cannot find it

Community the application returns the following message: " Nokia Messaging subscription is required to activate the services you have selected. By pressing Reject, you will have access to Ovi Chat, Nokia's Community. For more information, visit messaging.nokia.com" Although I have visited the above mentioned site there is no information to help me successfully sign in into IM application.

View 11 Replies View RelatedI removed my memory card to upload some pics to my computer cause my usb port does not work anymore and since I didn't get around to doing this quickly, I've been using the phone without the memory card. It has been a week and not one instance of freezing up. I put my card in about 2 hours ago just to see if it was fixed and it just now froze again. This obviously is not a solution but it leads me to believe that probably an app or some misc thing on my card is causing this. There is plenty of memory left on the card by the way. Now if I could only find the right settings to install hotmail, rocketmail (yahoo), ovi and gmail mail boxes. I have the issue where the mail boxes never appear after setup.

View 10 Replies View RelatedI am on T-mobile with an E7.When I try and text my friend with Verizon the message gets broken up and spaced out L I K E t h is.And usually the whole message never displays. This happened twice on two different Verizon phones. One after a while was fine again sending messages normally while the other one still has the problem. Ive tried resetting the phone (power off power on) deleting contact, sending text in threaded and single message reply. I have also updated the phone to the most recent software as of March 15, 2011 6:45 PM.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have used E63 before E72 and there was an option in E63 that as I selected to Synchronise after 30 Minutes then GPRS will disconnect and will be reconnect after 30 minutes and synchronise and disconnect.But in E72 GPRS all the time connected and sychronise. Is it possible that GPRS connect only the time at which we specified e.g. after 30 minutes.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am using a Nokia e63. At first, my WhatsApp wouldn't open and my phone is really slow anyway. So I synced my contacts, messages, photos and videos to my Nokia Suite, then did a hard reset to my phone; the *#7370#. When it's back on, I try to use messaging but it won't open. Downloaded WhatsApp again and it worked fine. Synced all nicely except for the messages. Guess it's because the messaging won't open. What's wrong with it. Furthermore, there's also other software that is preinstalled when I got it that won't open but I don't use them anyway. But I need my messaging. So please help.Also did the hard and soft reset again, still won't open. Got my friend to send me a text to see if I can receive it but I can't. So messaging not opening, not receiveing text, can't read texts since the program won't open.

On the day the contract ended, the phone started dropping calls mid conversation and then switching itself off everytime I answered or tried to make a call. I read a number of entries on a variety of forums, backed up the data on the phone and did a factory restore. Now, when i turn the phone on, as soon as I push a button the phone turns off.

View 12 Replies View Related1) I am unable to either open the message section, forget reading or sending messages and it shows he error which says "Messaging Memory full. Close some applications and try again" I have tried every possible way i guess. Have deleted all my messages from the cell( Sim, Memory card and from phone memory as well), but no result.. Still unable to send messages. I tried restarting my cell phone, Closed all applications, infact uninstalled many, Formatted memory card and everything.
2) The message tone in my cell doesnt work. Also it doesnt vibrate when any sms comes. Dont know why it has happened like that. Its ongoing since about 6 months now Nothing has worked for both the problems.
Ever since I've upgraded my E72 to version 51, phone tends to crash almost every time I turn on WLAN scanning, displaying a System Error message, forcing me to lose all my data, including applications I've paid for.From what I've read here on the forums, I understand that reverting to factory settings might fix this issue, but I don't that I should not be forced to lose everything on my device due to Nokia's incompetence, especially since I have no guarantee that this issue will not show up again.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have bought a Nokia E71 from a friend and when trying to download something from the Ovi store it asks for my user name and password, but says my user name and password are wrong and won't connect. I am using the same ones I use to connect to Ovi on my computer and it accepts them OK. Could this be because the previous owner's user name and password have been stored somewhere on the phone and as a security measure it won't let me in with my user name and password?
Does anyone know what I can do to be able to log in to Ovi on my phone so that I can download an application? The one I want at the moment is Sports Tracker so that I can check how many miles I do when going for a walk. I could perhaps find it online and download straight from their website, but I do really need to be able to download things through Ovi if required.
My problem is, when the phone goes in an area where there's no service, the 3G icon shows up in the right top corner, but when I go back to the area that has service, the 3G icon won't go away and I can't make any calls nor receive. only solution is to turn off the phone and turn back on. can you help me about that, how I can receive service again without restarting the phone?

I have just compared E-63 and 5233 both the phones have same 2 mega pixel camera and also have same resolution of 1600*1200 and there is a huge difference between in there pictures which are clicked at the same time and location when i m seeing in the PC.

But when an incoming call comes in I do get the name resolution of the person calling and his mobile no which is stored in the contacts.I tried backing up the mobile and all the time the backup of contacts could not happened and besides Contacts rest all is backed up....
