Mar 21, 2011I have used E63 before E72 and there was an option in E63 that as I selected to Synchronise after 30 Minutes then GPRS will disconnect and will be reconnect after 30 minutes and synchronise and disconnect.But in E72 GPRS all the time connected and sychronise. Is it possible that GPRS connect only the time at which we specified e.g. after 30 minutes.

Nov 27, 2012Have set up e-mail access on my E72-1 (updated with the latest Sofware and e-mail program) again after trying different methods to correct various imperfections). And now register that the e-mail program simply cuts sentences and words in e-mails I send from my PC. Sometimes the text is not displayed at all.
I send email from Thunderbird (v.17.0, released: November 20, 2012). And I've tried different settings for the format I send e-mails without success. When I send from a hotmail account or gmail account from the internet, there are no problems.

Dec 8, 2011I've got a user with a Nokia E6 that's got Mail for Exchange configured on it. Mail and calendar are syncing OK but not the contactsThe user is 150 miles away and I don't have an E6 that I can play with here. I'm trying to talk her through editing the mail for exchange profile (and not having much luck). I'm sure if the phone was in front of me I'd sort it in 2 minsI've talked the user through going to Menu > Mail > Settings > Mail for Exchange > What to sync. She's telling me there's no option in there to select contactsWould anyone be able to tell me the exact button presses I'd need to check if contacts are set to sync and how to edit the Mail for Exchange profile to set them so that they do sync?

Jun 10, 2011I cannot make or receive calls and messages on my nokia e52 sometimes. When trying to make a call it shows a small lock in locked position near the green phone symbol. I then restart the phone and it works fine. It only occurs rarely like once in a week or two and you wont know unless you try to make a call or some one calls your land phone and tells that the mobile is switched off. I am using the latest software and has tried the factory reset.

Oct 28, 2010I got the black version bought in the end of May 2010, and got it repaired recently because of cracked speaker. The repair company also upgraded the firmware from 034.001 to 051.018 (the new firmware 051.018 crash a lot more often specially with music player or if you want to see pictures/movies).
Anyway, In relationship with the repair I also noticed that I could not receive or make any calls. If I try to make a call its all silent the signal strength says its great connection though with the full bars. And if someone tries to call me they hear the default: "the subscriber can not be reached now, please leave a number and end with #".
And if I restart the mobile the phone works as normal again, I can make calls and receive calls. Also SMS will be received now. This happened both with firmware 034.001 and 051.018. I am using 3G net with operator Tango mini/comviq in Sweden (and they dont have any problems with the net, also the restart would suggest the same thing). I would think this is related to too long uptime or the frequent soft reboots/crashes.

Apr 19, 2011I removed my memory card to upload some pics to my computer cause my usb port does not work anymore and since I didn't get around to doing this quickly, I've been using the phone without the memory card. It has been a week and not one instance of freezing up. I put my card in about 2 hours ago just to see if it was fixed and it just now froze again. This obviously is not a solution but it leads me to believe that probably an app or some misc thing on my card is causing this. There is plenty of memory left on the card by the way. Now if I could only find the right settings to install hotmail, rocketmail (yahoo), ovi and gmail mail boxes. I have the issue where the mail boxes never appear after setup.

Mar 16, 2011I am on T-mobile with an E7.When I try and text my friend with Verizon the message gets broken up and spaced out L I K E t h is.And usually the whole message never displays. This happened twice on two different Verizon phones. One after a while was fine again sending messages normally while the other one still has the problem. Ive tried resetting the phone (power off power on) deleting contact, sending text in threaded and single message reply. Feb 6, 2012I am using a Nokia e63. At first, my WhatsApp wouldn't open and my phone is really slow anyway. So I synced my contacts, messages, photos and videos to my Nokia Suite, then did a hard reset to my phone; the *#7370#. When it's back on, I try to use messaging but it won't open. Downloaded WhatsApp again and it worked fine. Synced all nicely except for the messages. Guess it's because the messaging won't open. What's wrong with it. Furthermore, there's also other software that is preinstalled when I got it that won't open but I don't use them anyway. But I need my messaging. So please help.Also did the hard and soft reset again, still won't open. Got my friend to send me a text to see if I can receive it but I can't. So messaging not opening, not receiveing text, can't read texts since the program won't open.
