When Nokia internet radio is on and streaming a station, i observed that i cannot receive any calls. I assume the calls are given high priority when compared to others.

I always used the program Nokia Internet Radio on my E51.Trying to update the software, I uninstalled from the phone.I went to the link in Ovi Store, and I began the installation: it tells me"Nokia Internet Update 1.00(1)".It seems all ok, but, after "Completed Installation", the phone proposes me to delete"Internet Radio" (probably the same application?) and the old icon of the programdoes nothing.I don't see any new icon in the InstalledPrograms folder.

When I go to option--> setting and after clicking on setting no response is there , meaning nothing is happening. Other internet related apps working fine.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI cannot make or receive calls and messages on my nokia e52 sometimes. When trying to make a call it shows a small lock in locked position near the green phone symbol. I then restart the phone and it works fine. It only occurs rarely like once in a week or two and you wont know unless you try to make a call or some one calls your land phone and tells that the mobile is switched off. I am using the latest software and has tried the factory reset.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI got the black version bought in the end of May 2010, and got it repaired recently because of cracked speaker. The repair company also upgraded the firmware from 034.001 to 051.018 (the new firmware 051.018 crash a lot more often specially with music player or if you want to see pictures/movies).
Anyway, In relationship with the repair I also noticed that I could not receive or make any calls. If I try to make a call its all silent the signal strength says its great connection though with the full bars. And if someone tries to call me they hear the default: "the subscriber can not be reached now, please leave a number and end with #".
And if I restart the mobile the phone works as normal again, I can make calls and receive calls. Also SMS will be received now. This happened both with firmware 034.001 and 051.018. I am using 3G net with operator Tango mini/comviq in Sweden (and they dont have any problems with the net, also the restart would suggest the same thing). I would think this is related to too long uptime or the frequent soft reboots/crashes.

View 1 Replies View RelatedSo couple days ago someone tried calling me but apparently got the "the person you are calling is not available, please try again" later blah blah blah which usually comes on when the mobile is switched off i suppose, but at the time of the calls my phone was at full reception bar! I tried calling my phone and confirms that it wasn't able to receive calls but i can make calls though. Is this a known E72 bug or something?? I read a couple people got that problem on E72 and other E series like E55 or something. I'm really worried about missing important phone calls because of this.

However today when I tried to open the web browser the O2 homepage doesn't load as usual, and instead I keep getting a message saying "Internet Connection: Time-Out". I have never had any problem with the internet before, my default access point is set to O2 Active as this is my carrier. The second access point is my wireless network. I just tried connecting through the wireless network and that works fine, so any ideas why I can't connect through O2 Active?I haven't changed the settings or anything like that so I'm quite confused as to why it isn't working.

View 4 Replies View RelatedThis is the problem that I have been facing since I have purchased this phone(2years now). I am not using nokia push mail or even nokia mails at all. I have selected packet data Connection setting as "When Needed".
This happens every time I connect to the internet using mobile network and then remains there forever until either I restart Phone or go to offline mode. This is so annoying because it is not using any data though it is there.
There is a dotted lines below the E sign as you can see in the attachment.
I have tried many more times. But always it appears error massage on the display. I can't answer calls in skype also.
View 3 Replies View RelatedWhen I receive a call my screen automatically locks and darkens. Sliding the key lock switch to unlock the phone doesn't work. Not having access to the screen is a problem for two reasons: 1. I don't know who is calling me (as the screen is dark) 2. I cannot use any of the phones functions (i.e. speaker, conference calls, hold, etc.) This all started when I upgraded to Software Version 022.014 with Software Version Date 2011-07-05. Both points above were working before this update.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have tried this on 3 different Nokia E6 phones, on GPRS with 5bars, 3G with 5bars and at home over wifi. All internet traffic is really slow, when on the browser downloading the SIS file for google maps, it took 5mins to download just 160k. Once I did get it installed, the Google Maps app take ages to load map tiles, and emails take about a minute to download an email with just a few lines of text.
When using OVI store, pages load really slow. So all internet apps are slow. The phone overall is quick. All this in an edge or 3G area with 5bars, and 3 phones do the exact same. All firmware ver 22.14. Same settings, area and sim card in my Nokia E71 and E72 are perfect.
I was wondering if there is any third party application that makes it possible to record from the FM radio. Alternatively to be able to record from another FM radio by a wired connection (not by not by placing the phone in front of a radio speaker).

my nokia E71 FM radio just doesn't work.anytime i try to connect to radio the only available option is the visual radio.i changed the auto-start service on the settings of the visual service to off but still the FM radio.
