This is the second time I'm downloading skype to my Nokia mobiles, The first mobile was Nokia N97 and the current is Nokia E6, Still can not make video calls or even see the caller! Do i have to download a support software ?

Thevideo recording is no longer smooth,there are pauses and stuttering.Anyone who has the same problem on updating to the new firmware. Anynews of a new firmware because I amtired of this new one, it messed up myphone, I can't record videos. I wish Inever updated in the first place.

After I finish record (with the lag) my processed video will jitter and pixelate where the lag spikes occured during recording. This was not a problem until after I updated to the latest firmware a few weeks ago. I have looked everywhere online for a solution and have decided here might bring some possible solutions. Is there any way to try and fix this without downgrading the firmware?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI cannot make or receive calls and messages on my nokia e52 sometimes. When trying to make a call it shows a small lock in locked position near the green phone symbol. I then restart the phone and it works fine. It only occurs rarely like once in a week or two and you wont know unless you try to make a call or some one calls your land phone and tells that the mobile is switched off. I am using the latest software and has tried the factory reset.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI got the black version bought in the end of May 2010, and got it repaired recently because of cracked speaker. The repair company also upgraded the firmware from 034.001 to 051.018 (the new firmware 051.018 crash a lot more often specially with music player or if you want to see pictures/movies).
Anyway, In relationship with the repair I also noticed that I could not receive or make any calls. If I try to make a call its all silent the signal strength says its great connection though with the full bars. And if someone tries to call me they hear the default: "the subscriber can not be reached now, please leave a number and end with #".
And if I restart the mobile the phone works as normal again, I can make calls and receive calls. Also SMS will be received now. This happened both with firmware 034.001 and 051.018. I am using 3G net with operator Tango mini/comviq in Sweden (and they dont have any problems with the net, also the restart would suggest the same thing). I would think this is related to too long uptime or the frequent soft reboots/crashes.
today i have found that my phone wont play recorded video but the only change on the phone was the symbian anna update
View 3 Replies View RelatedWhen I receive a call my screen automatically locks and darkens. Sliding the key lock switch to unlock the phone doesn't work. Not having access to the screen is a problem for two reasons: 1. I don't know who is calling me (as the screen is dark) 2. I cannot use any of the phones functions (i.e. speaker, conference calls, hold, etc.) This all started when I upgraded to Software Version 022.014 with Software Version Date 2011-07-05. Both points above were working before this update.

It works fine when I switched the settings to save under Phone Memory.I want to save longer recordings using Memory card WITHOUT the lags. I've exitted all running programs, ran phone in Offline Mode, deleted all games and songs, shut down, removed the batteries, switched it back on YET the problem persists.

My nokia crash during video recording when sensor (portrait/landscape) is on. Crash take after random time, usualy 5 to 15 minute. Crash apprear as blank screen and automatic reset of the phone. I use phone as vehicle recorder, so there might me a shakes. Regular turning during recording does not causing the crash.
When I set the sensor setting to off is everyfing correct. I can record 1h movie without any problem.
I've been experimenting to find the best video setting for video playback in our E71. So far, the best I've come up with is: 320x240, MP4 video at 15fps/384kbps, AAC audio at 128kbps/44100MHz. I set the audio to such for music videos.

I got i going again by shutting it down, but now that has stopped working as well. Few time when somebody has called me it has dropped the call at the first second saying "connection problem".

I tried calling my phone and confirms that it wasn't able to receive calls but i can make calls though. Is this a known E72 bug or something??
