Aug 13, 2010how to set up Lotus Traveler Email on my Nokia E71? Which User ID do I use? My own email address or there is another one? If another one,which one is that? Which password do I use? from IBM or my email one? What about the '' server''? Which server is this? Is it the server of traveler mail or the internet service provider or the server of the email provider? I am stuck with this for more than a week and it bothers me because I never have problems doing any setting in my phones how however new they are.

Sep 1, 2010I just updated to the 500.21.009 firmware on my Nokia E63 and now I am regretting that I made the switch.I think this version of the firmware is not stable at all.
The first question is: How do I remove the annoying Lotus Notes Traveler? Uninstalling it doesn't work. I have read the solution is to use YBrowser, but I don't want to pay for using this software, nor do I want to use an untrusted application on my phone. Let's just say that I am paranoid about such things.
What is the next best solution to remove this? I really can't understand why Nokia is forcing this software on its users. Seriously. Not everyone uses Lotus Notes. And if you want to force it, why not provide an easy way to remove it?

Nov 27, 2012Have set up e-mail access on my E72-1 (updated with the latest Sofware and e-mail program) again after trying different methods to correct various imperfections). And now register that the e-mail program simply cuts sentences and words in e-mails I send from my PC. Sometimes the text is not displayed at all.
I send email from Thunderbird (v.17.0, released: November 20, 2012). And I've tried different settings for the format I send e-mails without success. When I send from a hotmail account or gmail account from the internet, there are no problems.

Aug 23, 2011after I updated my Nokia E6 to the recent software, it doesnt show the callers names when receiving a call and when receiving an sms. I have to save the same number twice, once with international prefix example +963 (thats for my home country) and once without. When receiving calls it show the name only if saved without the prefix (unless its an international call) and when receiving sms it shows the name only when its saved with the international prefix. I didnt have that problem before the update!

the only place where I went disappointed is the connectivity of the phone with Nokia PC suite. i have tried many billions time to connect, but i failed.
whenever i connect my phone to PC via cable, it asks me to connect via PC suite or mass storage or rest other option. when i hit PC suite, my computer start finding something and then all of sudden my phone ask again what way you want to connect your phone and again and again. its working perfectly fine if i hit Mass storage. it just the PC suite which aint connecting. i have tried it on my brother's computer but its coming up with same error.

Jan 12, 2012I can view the person who had this phones email account, but I can't set my new one up. I use the "email setup wizard" go into it, connect, and then it asks me my email address, I enter the CORRECT one and that's as far as this thing will let me go. I don't even get to the part where it asks me for a Password. after I enter my email address it tries to connect to the server (which is yahoo mail) and then I get the message "Unable to connect to server. Try again later."....And that's all it keeps doing. I have no clue how to set up an email on this phone. I use it with my WAN connection and with my providers internet and get the same message both times.

Mar 10, 2011Having problems with the E7 caller ID? Randomly the phone doesn't show the callers name, even if he/she is listed on my phonebook. This is not related to duplicate entries, because it works right after phone restart, but fails randomly. The SMS list is also affected, but not all the time. Few times a have seen a call come in and not show the name of the caller. After I have missed that call, I'll go to the missed calls list and there is the name of the caller?!

Apr 6, 2011My E7 sometimes does simply nothing when someone is trying to call me. Doesn´t ring or vibrate or anything. Not even the display changes or shows a missed call after.
I called my phone with another phone and got the normal call connected signal. Outgoing calls are possible but when dialing some numbers it shows a "not allowed" error message...After a restart it works fine again.
