Eseries / Communicators :: E63 Mobile Messaging Unable To Open
Feb 6, 2012I am using a Nokia e63. At first, my WhatsApp wouldn't open and my phone is really slow anyway. So I synced my contacts, messages, photos and videos to my Nokia Suite, then did a hard reset to my phone; the *#7370#. When it's back on, I try to use messaging but it won't open. Downloaded WhatsApp again and it worked fine. Synced all nicely except for the messages. Guess it's because the messaging won't open. What's wrong with it. Furthermore, there's also other software that is preinstalled when I got it that won't open but I don't use them anyway. But I need my messaging. So please help.Also did the hard and soft reset again, still won't open. Got my friend to send me a text to see if I can receive it but I can't. So messaging not opening, not receiveing text, can't read texts since the program won't open.

Installing went good and i feel that everything works fine, but then i try to open Ovi Store and phone automatically shutdown and start again? Same happening if i try open program name "muistutukset"? What is going on? Why my phone can`t open Ovi Store and that other program?

Jul 14, 2010I just recently got the Nokia E-72 and after getting a new memory card just yesterday for it I am no longer able to open the Ovi Store application that was already installed on the phone. I also just installed the Ovi Suite on my computer and when it requests to install the "Support software" my phone just gives me the simple error of "Unable to install" with a red symbol next to the words. I also tried installing the Ovi Store from the web and I get the same Unable to Install error that I get when trying to install the Support Software. I already checked the "application manager" it is allows all applications to be installed. I've also tried reinstalling the software via the Ovi Suite and that doesn't do anything either. I looked up how to hard reset the phone as well, and I hold the correct buttons+the top power button at the same time while the phone is of f but it doesn't seem like it does anything when the phone comes back on. I wouldn't mind getting the phone to go back to square one as I haven't had the phone long enough to miss much besides my contacts which I can just synchronize.

Now when It is opened, it seems to load but somehow it is redirected to another page saying "A new version of ovi store is available, update your application to continue using it".Clicking on the update option download does not start at all. So ovi store application is not working at all.

Jul 8, 2011I'm using Nokia E5 and whenever I open OVI App to download stuff it says "there's an update available, update it" when I click on update, it redirects me back to my Menu and nothing happens!I tried to update it 20 times n everytime same thing happened to me.Its not updating, not opening, and I can't even download anything. Whatever I try to download it redirects me to OVI and it asks me the same update thing.

Several applications, including Ovi Store and Maps, will not start with phone encryption enabled. Disabling encryption means I can use the mentioned applications, but as soon as I sync the mail, the encryption is back on.

Dec 6, 2011I have downloaded "storeinstaller_tb92_QTbundle_prd_PROD_3.18.036" and installed on top of Nokiastore which was updated from ovi-store via phone update. Now When i installed this 3.18.036 version, I come to know that this is for symbian belle and not workign well in my E7, very sluggish in performance. So I unistalled the Nokia store. It restarted the phone and i see that OVi store has come instead of old - nokia store,Now I am unable to update to the latest Nokia store which was working fine until recently, any suggestion how to update it via phone will be helpful, I have checked software updater, but no luck.Also why certain apps which I downloaded frombeta labs, doesnot update automatically, the updates ae available but everytime I hv to download from betalabs, why software update can't find if any update are vailable for the installed software?is it a bug in Nokia software updater?

Jan 24, 2011Not sure if this has been asked before, probably has, but I cannot connect to the ovi store on my phone, after I enter my account details, keeps saying sign in failed even though I can sign into ovi on my computer, I have reset the cache and cleared cookies, cookies are allowed on my phone all that. I have synced it with the ovi suite all that perfectly but, I don't know why I can't sign into the ovi store on my phone, or sync with ovi sync on my phone either. Im living in Ireland if that makes any difference at all and on vodafone network.

Ovistore_32prdSrv_1_22_014.sisx) so I downloaded and installed it.It stores cache on the phone memory in a directory imagecache/Juniper and is full of all the icon pictures of apps on the nokia store.so the phone memory is filling up.
EVEN WORSE.If I go into my pictures gallery they are all being displayed there!!!
Can't find any of my own photo's because all these stupid icons/pictures from the store!

When i open licences in the control panel, it reboots in a few seconds.And the phone has become awfully slow.I took it to the nokia care center.they upgraded the software from 42.007 to 42.010.i couldnt upgrade to the latest sw from my phone or using nokia software updater.i'm just fed up with the sw bugs in this phone. the phone went to L3 two times
