Eseries / Communicators :: Ovi Store Unable To Open?

I just recently got the Nokia E-72 and after getting a new memory card just yesterday for it I am no longer able to open the Ovi Store application that was already installed on the phone. I also just installed the Ovi Suite on my computer and when it requests to install the "Support software" my phone just gives me the simple error of "Unable to install" with a red symbol next to the words. I also tried installing the Ovi Store from the web and I get the same Unable to Install error that I get when trying to install the Support Software. I already checked the "application manager" it is allows all applications to be installed. I've also tried reinstalling the software via the Ovi Suite and that doesn't do anything either. I looked up how to hard reset the phone as well, and I hold the correct buttons+the top power button at the same time while the phone is of f but it doesn't seem like it does anything when the phone comes back on. I wouldn't mind getting the phone to go back to square one as I haven't had the phone long enough to miss much besides my contacts which I can just synchronize.
I just download new Anna update and Ovi update. Installing went good and i feel that everything works fine, but then i try to open Ovi Store and phone automatically shutdown and start again? Same happening if i try open program name "muistutukset"? What is going on? Why my phone can`t open Ovi Store and that other program?
I am using a Nokia e63. At first, my WhatsApp wouldn't open and my phone is really slow anyway. So I synced my contacts, messages, photos and videos to my Nokia Suite, then did a hard reset to my phone; the *#7370#. When it's back on, I try to use messaging but it won't open. Downloaded WhatsApp again and it worked fine. Synced all nicely except for the messages. Guess it's because the messaging won't open. What's wrong with it. Furthermore, there's also other software that is preinstalled when I got it that won't open but I don't use them anyway. But I need my messaging. So please help.Also did the hard and soft reset again, still won't open. Got my friend to send me a text to see if I can receive it but I can't. So messaging not opening, not receiveing text, can't read texts since the program won't open.
I received two download links from the Nokia website upon request. Clicking on the link gets me to the download site and it asks me to sign in or register if I don't have a Nokia account. Whoever designed this was either on drugs or intoxicated, because without a nokia account they don't send you a download link in the first place. Since I do post this message here, I obviously did register and have an account. The problem is, my username and Password is not being recognized and it sends me into a never ending loop, with other words I am unable to sign in and download the application.i am at my wits ends and I am fuming at Nokia for giving me such a hard time to download a simple mobile app. My phone model is the E71x and both apps I received the link for are supposed to be compatible with this model.
is it just me, or is it that url's sent to the E72 by SMS can't be clicked on to open?My E63 could do this but I can't work out how to get my E72 to do it ...you know, URL's like the ones you get via OVI sent as SMS for installing an app?
Not sure if this has been asked before, probably has, but I cannot connect to the ovi store on my phone, after I enter my account details, keeps saying sign in failed even though I can sign into ovi on my computer, I have reset the cache and cleared cookies, cookies are allowed on my phone all that. I have synced it with the ovi suite all that perfectly but, I don't know why I can't sign into the ovi store on my phone, or sync with ovi sync on my phone either. Im living in Ireland if that makes any difference at all and on vodafone network.
Just recently bought an E-6 and tried to install some app (try both on phone and via PC using nokia suite) all failed and it said internal server errors with nokia jrs com whatever weird language.
when I request some item from the OVI store to download.. it says an SMS was sent with the link.. but I never receive this sms message.. I can only download directly on the phone..
from a while there is an update for ovi store and i installed it and since then the ovi store is not starting , it stops on the loading screen and nothing happen next
Had a notification that a newer version of Nokia / OVI store was available today (22/02/12 Ver. Ovistore_32prdSrv_1_22_014.sisx) so I downloaded and installed it.It stores cache on the phone memory in a directory imagecache/Juniper and is full of all the icon pictures of apps on the nokia store.so the phone memory is filling up.
EVEN WORSE.If I go into my pictures gallery they are all being displayed there!!! Can't find any of my own photo's because all these stupid icons/pictures from the store!
i have an E5-00 Rm632 fw ver: 42.010. When i open licences in the control panel, it reboots in a few seconds.And the phone has become awfully slow.I took it to the nokia care center.they upgraded the software from 42.007 to 42.010.i couldnt upgrade to the latest sw from my phone or using nokia software updater.i'm just fed up with the sw bugs in this phone. the phone went to L3 two times
I bought my e72 last May 2010. The last time I used the camera was mid June and took around 140 pics. I just noticed last night that my camera won't open. I tried already soft reset but still it doesn't work.
I recently bought a new Nokia E5. But i have problems with my contactlist, i can't open it and see my contacts. When i'm in the menu and i want to go to contacts all i get is a black window that will close after 5 seconds. Now I want to slove that problem and copie all my contacts from my sim-card. But when I get a message i can see from who it is so i don't understand the problem. when I want to send a new message and select a new contact the phone also don't let me in my contact list.
i am unable to download anythng from nokia ovi store default application even i hav tried diffrent accounts...cant even click on download....cause it doesn't see highlighted...while downloading works when i download from [URL]
I'm quite sure that an Imap account of mine was taking 25MB from C drive space.So, I've tried to convert it to POP and delete the emails from the phone. It didn't work. The phone kept showing "I'm deleting the messages" but with no succes.So I removed the account, hoping to delete the messages. From what I see it didn't do the trick.Now, I would like to find where the emails are stored and manually delete them.
Ovi store came installed as I purchased Nokia E-5 recently. It was working fine till a weak back. Now when It is opened, it seems to load but somehow it is redirected to another page saying "A new version of ovi store is available, update your application to continue using it".Clicking on the update option download does not start at all. So ovi store application is not working at all.
I have an E63 phone with 1GB memory card. I am able to change settings for storing photos and music in the memory card. However, the sms that I receive get automatically saved in phone memory and I am not able to find how to change the setting to memory card.
I backed everything up, updated my E72's software and perforned a hard reset. But now, after I performed a restore, applications I bought from Ovi Store are all gone and other software is back!
I'm using Nokia E5 and whenever I open OVI App to download stuff it says "there's an update available, update it" when I click on update, it redirects me back to my Menu and nothing happens!I tried to update it 20 times n everytime same thing happened to me.Its not updating, not opening, and I can't even download anything. Whatever I try to download it redirects me to OVI and it asks me the same update thing.
My E72 is set up for OVI mail and one other account. The second account (IMAP) worked fine until today, when clicking on the relevant "button" just makes it blink, without opening the account the mail. A restart allowed me to see who the mail was from but not to open it, then the problem is the same until I restart the phone again.Otherwise no other signs of instability for a long time.
how to fix my E7 without going to NCP? When you open the keyboard, it does not register that it has been opened, and also only the top row of the keyboard works (does numbers correctly but characters wrong). I've already tried doing a hard reset on the phone which was to no avail.
i can't open the Web Browser on my Nokia E7, i don't know why..probably have problems with the software. everytime i try to open it, it just gets blank and brings me back to Menu.. Is there any way i can fix / patch / redownload it.
