Eseries / Communicators :: E72 Doesn't Open Mail
Mar 14, 2011My E72 is set up for OVI mail and one other account. The second account (IMAP) worked fine until today, when clicking on the relevant "button" just makes it blink, without opening the account the mail. A restart allowed me to see who the mail was from but not to open it, then the problem is the same until I restart the phone again.Otherwise no other signs of instability for a long time.

Oct 14, 2011every 10 hours or so i have to reset my new E7 to open data connection (internet and e-mails).
After resetting no problems for some hours. I get my e-mails and connection to internet. but then again...
I have the newest firmware of Anna. No help from Nokia customer service. (I phoned 4 days ago)
Eseries / Communicators :: E7-00 Hangs When Trying To Open "Installed Apps"?
May 25, 2011My Nokia E7-00 hangs every time I try to open Application Manager to uninstall applications - it says "scanning memory" and hangs there. Only way to come out of it is to hard reboot the phone. I tried reinstalling the device software from PC Ovi Suite and even though the reinstall completed successfully, it still hangs just the same as before. As a result, I am unable to uninstall ANY applications?

Dec 27, 2012Nokia E6 with Symbian Belle Refresh which I bought just a couple of days ago.It does not detect wifi internet connections at all, although they are available. When I go to settings -> connectivity and then select wifi, it searches connection for a while and then shows that none are found. Meanwhile, my old Nokia E72 remains connected to my home wifi without any problem... I am really surprised and disappointed. Also when I try to set up the connection manually, it doesn't work at all.I can't believe that such a device is being sold, a wifi connection is something extremely necessary nowadays in a smartphone. I was so attached to Nokia but I feel like it is my last Nokia phone because this is just unbelievable

Jul 31, 2011I recently bought a new Nokia E5. But i have problems with my contactlist, i can't open it and see my contacts. When i'm in the menu and i want to go to contacts all i get is a black window that will close after 5 seconds. Now I want to slove that problem and copie all my contacts from my sim-card. But when I get a message i can see from who it is so i don't understand the problem. when I want to send a new message and select a new contact the phone also don't let me in my contact list.

Jul 14, 2010I just recently got the Nokia E-72 and after getting a new memory card just yesterday for it I am no longer able to open the Ovi Store application that was already installed on the phone. I also just installed the Ovi Suite on my computer and when it requests to install the "Support software" my phone just gives me the simple error of "Unable to install" with a red symbol next to the words. I also tried installing the Ovi Store from the web and I get the same Unable to Install error that I get when trying to install the Support Software. I already checked the "application manager" it is allows all applications to be installed. I've also tried reinstalling the software via the Ovi Suite and that doesn't do anything either. I looked up how to hard reset the phone as well, and I hold the correct buttons+the top power button at the same time while the phone is of f but it doesn't seem like it does anything when the phone comes back on. I wouldn't mind getting the phone to go back to square one as I haven't had the phone long enough to miss much besides my contacts which I can just synchronize.

But after restarting I can't see any changes in the microsoft apps. all the microsoft apps are as it was onenote, Lync, document, and powerpoint broadcast. but then where is word, excel and PowerPoint? Feb 6, 2012I am using a Nokia e63. At first, my WhatsApp wouldn't open and my phone is really slow anyway. So I synced my contacts, messages, photos and videos to my Nokia Suite, then did a hard reset to my phone; the *#7370#. When it's back on, I try to use messaging but it won't open. Downloaded WhatsApp again and it worked fine. Synced all nicely except for the messages. Guess it's because the messaging won't open. What's wrong with it. Furthermore, there's also other software that is preinstalled when I got it that won't open but I don't use them anyway. But I need my messaging. So please help.Also did the hard and soft reset again, still won't open. Got my friend to send me a text to see if I can receive it but I can't. Jun 20, 2011I have a brand new E7 configured with my corporate Exchange 2003 server account and my private gmail. E7 runs the most current SW P1.1 014.002.263.03.Mail/calendar/contacts sync works but opening a received mail with any attachment listed (even how tiny, like 1kb jpeg) on the mail application takes ages. If I click on a message on the mail list it can take upto 30 seconds before the screen shows the message. During the time the phone freezes, even the hardware buttons are not responding. The symptom is the same on Exchange and Gmail accounts. Messages not having any attachments open in about 4 secs. I have tried to delete the accounts etc. but no joy.The mails are received as push, I have tried also scheduled receiving, offline mode etc. but the speed is the same. Is anyone else seeing this and is there anything to be done? The speed of the mail application is so poor that it prevents me to use the E7 as the business phone.

Feb 16, 2011This mobile phone is really suitable only for a garbage tray, it is always freezing and hungiing on, I always need to remove the battery cause the power button doesn't work, and it has really a LOT of bugs, but lets go to the point.
I was recently trying to update the firmware/software of the phone using a the USB cable provided by Nokia (which has a bad electrical contact) and sudenly the connection was lost. I did all the steps recomended by the software updater but now the Nokia E52 simply doesn't even turn on!
It's not possible any hard reset, because the phone doesn't even turn on! I already removed the battery and put it again as nokia tech team is always suggesting people to do..

Mar 29, 2011I have enabled security lock on my E7-00. When i try to charge it from computer via USB cable (nokia original that came with the device) it doesn't start to charge. The white led on the charger doesn't light up nor does the computer detect the device. I have to unlock the phone and enter the security code to get it charging.
