every 10 hours or so i have to reset my new E7 to open data connection (internet and e-mails).
After resetting no problems for some hours. I get my e-mails and connection to internet. but then again...
I have the newest firmware of Anna. No help from Nokia customer service. (I phoned 4 days ago)
I have tried with reinstalling them but doesnlt work e.g.. Need for speed game and some more apps.

The second account (IMAP) worked fine until today, when clicking on the relevant "button" just makes it blink, without opening the account the mail. A restart allowed me to see who the mail was from but not to open it, then the problem is the same until I restart the phone again.Otherwise no other signs of instability for a long time.

So data will be used only during that time or whenever a known internet accessing application is running.This was for around 3 months. As soon as I exit say Opera, the data connection would be closed.But for the past 2 weeks, the data connection refuses to terminate. Even when I manually terminate by going into Connections, it gets reconnected automatically.This behaviour appears suspiciously like a virus / spyware running hidden because task manager shows no running application other than F-Secure which is disabled except for theft protection.How to find out if there is any hidden process accessing the internet?How to know which applications run at startup?

However, I can view Missed Calls, Dialed Calls, Received Calls, Incoming and Outgoing SMS. This problem has started since I updated my Phone Software to Version 022.014 (Release Date 2011-07-05).

View 2 Replies View RelatedNokia E6 with Symbian Belle Refresh which I bought just a couple of days ago.It does not detect wifi internet connections at all, although they are available. When I go to settings -> connectivity and then select wifi, it searches connection for a while and then shows that none are found. Meanwhile, my old Nokia E72 remains connected to my home wifi without any problem... I am really surprised and disappointed. Also when I try to set up the connection manually, it doesn't work at all.I can't believe that such a device is being sold, a wifi connection is something extremely necessary nowadays in a smartphone. I was so attached to Nokia but I feel like it is my last Nokia phone because this is just unbelievable

It connects normally but nothing opens. the vodafone gprs works perfectly.I reflashed phone restored to factory settings formatted. Dont everything so any ideas as to what cuold be wrong?

I turned on my 3G network this morning, and again, everything's going perfectly fine with my connection. I came home around half 4 from school and decided to turn on my WiFi connection at home, what I've realized is that whenever I try turning on my WiFi network, the little sign that's usually at the top doesn't appear anymore. I tried resetting the network settings and closing and opening my phone, but.. This didn't really make any difference.I have tried reconnecting to my WiFi but nothing happened, my Bluetooth's never really turned on.

is it just me, or is it that url's sent to the E72 by SMS can't be clicked on to open?My E63 could do this but I can't work out how to get my E72 to do it ...you know, URL's like the ones you get via OVI sent as SMS for installing an app?

When i'm in the menu and i want to go to contacts all i get is a black window that will close after 5 seconds. Now I want to slove that problem and copie all my contacts from my sim-card. But when I get a message i can see from who it is so i don't understand the problem. when I want to send a new message and select a new contact the phone also don't let me in my contact list.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI was wondering why my E7 keeps the 3.5G connection online even thou theres no application using it? I have set mail boxes for gmail and some other mail but i have set syncing to longest possible interval. Also widgets are offline. There nothing running in the background. If I manually close the connection, it will pop up online in about 5 seconds.
Also when i set the connection to be only manually acceptable, it will stay offline but when I use browser or etc and I allow the connection, it keeps the connection online indefinetly after closing all apps. Theres no data transfer visible but im imaging it will consume battery?
Are those mailboxes causing this and can I set them up so they wont sync at all unless I manually want them to ?
I have had my Nokia E72 for a few months now and while it's good one feature of it is frustrating me somewhat. A while ago I accidently clicked on 'automatic connection' and now my phone keeps asking me to select a connection. Can anyone advise me on how to get rid of this, please?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI just recently got the Nokia E-72 and after getting a new memory card just yesterday for it I am no longer able to open the Ovi Store application that was already installed on the phone. I also just installed the Ovi Suite on my computer and when it requests to install the "Support software" my phone just gives me the simple error of "Unable to install" with a red symbol next to the words. I also tried installing the Ovi Store from the web and I get the same Unable to Install error that I get when trying to install the Support Software. I already checked the "application manager" it is allows all applications to be installed. I've also tried reinstalling the software via the Ovi Suite and that doesn't do anything either. I looked up how to hard reset the phone as well, and I hold the correct buttons+the top power button at the same time while the phone is of f but it doesn't seem like it does anything when the phone comes back on. I wouldn't mind getting the phone to go back to square one as I haven't had the phone long enough to miss much besides my contacts which I can just synchronize.

I tried backing up the text messages on my computer. To my surprise, Nokia PC Suite (recently updated version: 7.1.180.46) doesn't even recognize any of these old text messages.
