Jun 18, 2012I would like to share my View about E6 smartphone!1Really a Great Design and OS Design rom Nokia.Actually whenever i connect to WIFI and GPRS when i connect first time its connecting and i can use ,After i disconnect and if i try to reconnect both WIFI and GPRS not connecting ,Such that when i restart once and connect its connecting so whenever i need to connect WIFI and GPRS for 2nd time i need to restart my mobile.

Bluetooth: Broadcom 2.1.207.297/HCI 2.0/LMP 2.0 (HP integrated)
E52 software ver 052.003, custom 052.003.247.05 (updated a month earlier)
They pair, but the phone insists my PC is an Audio Device ("Connect to audio device" on the menu). The PC responds somewhat strange - "Bluetooth Hands-Free device E52 Establishing Connection"...which FAILS - "Unable to establish Bluetooth connection" on the E52. So my PC also believes the E52 is a hands-free device. Apparently.Discovery of services on the E52 yields Data Transfer, Dial-Up Networking, Headset Audio Gateway, OBEX File Transfer+Object Push I recently replaced my original E52 with a new one and the first phone paired well and I could at least be on-line with text messages, calendar and contacts, although sometimes they would not connect automatically or the connection would be broken.This one's a mess.

Mar 23, 2011I have got my Dell Vostro 3700 with Win7 (Pro-32bit) recently, have been trying connect my E72 with OVI via bluetooth, it only work when the first pairing, and the connection cannot establish once i restarted the computer.

May 10, 2011well the thing is that i have the BB curve and also i hae the Vaio computer Series Y , before when i got the BB i was checking the features between PC and BB , i found that i could Connect the BB music to be able and listen to music with the speakers in the PC , now recently , is not letting me to connect the BB to the PC , is showing like if is trying to connect the it says Connected after to seconds it cut the connection, in my BB says Connection with Vaio terminated , basically is only playing 2 seconds in the computer and the it finish by itself?
PS, i have tried to remove both device each other and then reparied again but NO GO , also i have tried the option "listen " just to make sure that was the problem but "No go "?

Apr 9, 2010I got a problem with the bluetooth. I can send files with it but I can't receive them. My phone can be seen by everyone when bluetooth are active, I accept the file that other people want to share and then a message such as "connection failed" or similar,appear on the phone of the other people. Someone told me that I should reset the phone, is it the right solution? Is a backup necessary before the reset? I need to transfer some job files.

May 4, 2012E7-00 Symbian Belle suggested an update of Maps and Microsoft Applications. After the installation, whenever I try to click and URL from e-mail or open a Twitter link (with dTack) I receive the error message "Loading failed. Try again later".
I have re-booted both normally and with long press of power button - No help.I also changed the default browser from Opera Mobile to Nokia's Web - No help either.
As a matter of fact, the E7 doesn't really make any use of the Default browser setting, but always launches the clumsy Nokia Web instead of Opera.

Jun 15, 2012I woke up this morning, my phone was fine, I surfed the itnernet, checked my messages etc. I then got the bus to work, during the journey the connection dropped (this sometimes happens but it always comes back after 30 secs or so) after a while the phone said "sim card registration failed".I restarted the phone, no luck.I took the phone apart, removed the sim, put everything back, no luck.I put the sim in another phone, that worked.I put a different sim in my own phone, no luck.I reset the phone to factory settings then put in the sim, no luck.I restored the phone, no luck.

Nov 9, 2011I received a message on my E7 to say that a software update was available. I did the install and after a restart, was prompted to do several more updates: Anna 1/2, Anna 2/2, Ovi Suite, Maps and Anna Service Pack. When the update finished I was told that Anna1/2 and Ovi Store had failed, while the others were all sucessful. I have tried it several times but it fails every time.The phone appears to be working OK but the failure of Anna 1/2 is a bit worrying as I do not know the significance of it and the Ovi Store failure is annoying as I cannot launch it. The Ovi Store would not launch previously either ,so I was hoping the upgrade to Symbain Anna would fix that

Dec 13, 2011I know that this problem has been written all over the internet but seriously... no solution? The E71 works perfectly with other sim cards and no, it's not blacklisted. The sim card I want to use works perfectly on other cell phones like my Sony Ericsson (which I don't want to use). My E71 is not sim-locked and I do not know where to go than here! A weird thing is that the E71 can not find the operator I want to use either and the operator's net is really good on other phones.

May 17, 2011I used to install Java games and apps, some of them are not trusted and the others are trusted and this was the main reason for the 1st time I see this error msg about the failed Start-up.. after I fixed this problem by soft reset, I installed my apps normally and I tried to avoid untrusted Java apps but I installed vBag to play the Gameboy Advance games and I installed Poker game which showed me "Memory Full" after I play it or read about the rules for some minutes while I installed the game on my memory card and not the phone memory.. Oct 5, 2012I get this message when i want to start up the phone. A few days ago it also had problems to start up: I pressed "on" button untill it vibrates (then it normally starts up) but it didn't do anything, after some tries (around 15) it did start up. Then today the phone just shutted down and wasn't able to start up. And I get the message in the title.I have tried hard reset (shift, space, backspace + on) but it doesn't do anything.I have the newest firmware for my country (Belgium) and i think its 92.003 but not entirely sure.

After restarting I noticed that all my settings are gone. In my home screen by default all the icons, mailing and widgets are default, which was there when I bought the phone more than 6 months back. It is set to the three home screens, as if it is new phone.I cheked the menu and observe that all the apps that I downloaded are there even new Symbian anna is also there, mail settings are as it is.So what the apps/ software it was downloading without intimidating me I don't know, even I don't know till now what exactly happenned.
