I just download new Anna update and Ovi update. Installing went good and i feel that everything works fine, but then i try to open Ovi Store and phone automatically shutdown and start again? Same happening if i try open program name "muistutukset"? What is going on? Why my phone can`t open Ovi Store and that other program?
View 2 RepliesI just recently got the Nokia E-72 and after getting a new memory card just yesterday for it I am no longer able to open the Ovi Store application that was already installed on the phone. I also just installed the Ovi Suite on my computer and when it requests to install the "Support software" my phone just gives me the simple error of "Unable to install" with a red symbol next to the words. I also tried installing the Ovi Store from the web and I get the same Unable to Install error that I get when trying to install the Support Software. I already checked the "application manager" it is allows all applications to be installed. I've also tried reinstalling the software via the Ovi Suite and that doesn't do anything either. I looked up how to hard reset the phone as well, and I hold the correct buttons+the top power button at the same time while the phone is of f but it doesn't seem like it does anything when the phone comes back on. I wouldn't mind getting the phone to go back to square one as I haven't had the phone long enough to miss much besides my contacts which I can just synchronize.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have bought a new E63 recently. The issue is my E63 restarts automatically while using it for surfing the internet on the PC or using nokia's Internet radio. I have activated the GPRS service from IDEA and i am using it on the mobile phone as well as on the PC. But my mobile phone restarts after 5-10 minutes while using the internet connected through the mobile phone on PC. I am facing this problem all the times whether i connect through the data cable or through the bluetooth. My friend is also facing the same problem as he is also having the same Handset. i have also visited to Nokia service center ..They formated two times...and whether i use memory card or not...the problem still persist.....The phone gives me very high downloading speed 20kBs to 30 kBS .....but restarts after 5-10 mins. ...i think internal modem overheats....or some bug in firm ware...( i have latest updated firmware (500.21.009. 02-06-2010 RM-437 )

View 3 Replies View RelatedI've had my Nokia E5-00 since 11/25 and it's been giving me hell this past week. I don't know if it's coincidence or not, but I tried changing the lock code so I could lock my phone, and right as I entered the default 12345 and then it asked me for a new code, I put in the new code and it restarted. I figured it was just the phone updating itself. Then, the phone began restarting randomly, and sometimes it restarts multiple times before it stays put for an hour or two... Only to start the process all over again.When it restarts, the Nokia logo doesn't have the holding-hands thing. The screen turns white, sometimes the Nokia in blue letters appears, but never the hand-holding.I know some people have had this problem with the E5-00 and I'm wondering what I can do. I tried updating the software - twice - and no dice.

Initially the phone used to abruptly hang and would require the battery to be taken out & reinserted to start the phone. After the Firmware update the problem got reduced but now the phone hangs and automatically restarts. This is quite frequent & very irritating. I have tried the hard & soft reset but the problem still remains the same. The firmware that i am using is 054.005 / make - Malaysia.

View 5 Replies View RelatedNot sure if this has been asked before, probably has, but I cannot connect to the ovi store on my phone, after I enter my account details, keeps saying sign in failed even though I can sign into ovi on my computer, I have reset the cache and cleared cookies, cookies are allowed on my phone all that. I have synced it with the ovi suite all that perfectly but, I don't know why I can't sign into the ovi store on my phone, or sync with ovi sync on my phone either. Im living in Ireland if that makes any difference at all and on vodafone network.

Ovistore_32prdSrv_1_22_014.sisx) so I downloaded and installed it.It stores cache on the phone memory in a directory imagecache/Juniper and is full of all the icon pictures of apps on the nokia store.so the phone memory is filling up.
EVEN WORSE.If I go into my pictures gallery they are all being displayed there!!!
Can't find any of my own photo's because all these stupid icons/pictures from the store!
i have an E5-00 Rm632 fw ver: 42.010. When i open licences in the control panel, it reboots in a few seconds.And the phone has become awfully slow.I took it to the nokia care center.they upgraded the software from 42.007 to 42.010.i couldnt upgrade to the latest sw from my phone or using nokia software updater.i'm just fed up with the sw bugs in this phone. the phone went to L3 two times

When i'm in the menu and i want to go to contacts all i get is a black window that will close after 5 seconds. Now I want to slove that problem and copie all my contacts from my sim-card. The phone kept showing "I'm deleting the messages" but with no succes.So I removed the account, hoping to delete the messages. From what I see it didn't do the trick.Now, I would like to find where the emails are stored and manually delete them.

Now when It is opened, it seems to load but somehow it is redirected to another page saying "A new version of ovi store is available, update your application to continue using it".Clicking on the update option download does not start at all. The second account (IMAP) worked fine until today, when clicking on the relevant "button" just makes it blink, without opening the account the mail. A restart allowed me to see who the mail was from but not to open it, then the problem is the same until I restart the phone again.Otherwise no other signs of instability for a long time.
