I'm a proud nokia user, but lately, I've been encountering some problems using my Nokia E71-1. Whilst making voice and data calls, my phone fails and indicates ''connection error'' on the display.
View 2 RepliesMy E7 can no longer make any phone calls. Everytime I try to make a call its goes beep boop "connection problem" eventhou it has full bars. I got i going again by shutting it down, but now that has stopped working as well. Few time when somebody has called me it has dropped the call at the first second saying "connection problem".

It worked always properly but since yesterday I can no longer receive and make calls.When I try to make calls the message to deactivate before airplane mode appears, even if airplane mode is absolutely not selected.Data connection is also out of order but WIFI and bluetooth are working fine.i think it is a software issue, I tried to do everything, resting, extracting the sim card, rebooting but nothing changes.Yesterday Whilst I was using a navi app. it startet to have malfunctions with the application and later I could no longer call.

When i first connect the cable to my usb port on my pc i get this error message - connection between pc and phone failed, error code ox80040154 switch mobile off and on again and try again but still gives me the same error message.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI cannot make or receive calls and messages on my nokia e52 sometimes. When trying to make a call it shows a small lock in locked position near the green phone symbol. I then restart the phone and it works fine. It only occurs rarely like once in a week or two and you wont know unless you try to make a call or some one calls your land phone and tells that the mobile is switched off. I am using the latest software and has tried the factory reset.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI got the black version bought in the end of May 2010, and got it repaired recently because of cracked speaker. The repair company also upgraded the firmware from 034.001 to 051.018 (the new firmware 051.018 crash a lot more often specially with music player or if you want to see pictures/movies).
Anyway, In relationship with the repair I also noticed that I could not receive or make any calls. If I try to make a call its all silent the signal strength says its great connection though with the full bars. And if someone tries to call me they hear the default: "the subscriber can not be reached now, please leave a number and end with #".
And if I restart the mobile the phone works as normal again, I can make calls and receive calls. Also SMS will be received now. This happened both with firmware 034.001 and 051.018. I am using 3G net with operator Tango mini/comviq in Sweden (and they dont have any problems with the net, also the restart would suggest the same thing). I would think this is related to too long uptime or the frequent soft reboots/crashes.
E6 While making outbound calls from my phone version 022.014 I get "No Answer"; this applies to all calls, I cannot make out going calls. Nokia please help; seems another bug(which is not a surprise for Anna!)

The SIM card is working fine in other phones. I also applied a hard reset using *#7370# code, but the problem persists. The software version si 091.001.

I am using E52 and I have installed Whatsapp Messenger. It uses my packet data connection and I am rob off my credit. The only way I know to stop this is to uninstall Whatsapp. Is there any way or an app on OviStore which can enable/disable my packet data connection as per my wish.

So data will be used only during that time or whenever a known internet accessing application is running.This was for around 3 months. As soon as I exit say Opera, the data connection would be closed.But for the past 2 weeks, the data connection refuses to terminate. However, I can view Missed Calls, Dialed Calls, Received Calls, Incoming and Outgoing SMS. This problem has started since I updated my Phone Software to Version 022.014 (Release Date 2011-07-05).

View 1 Replies View RelatedI tried to make a call while wi-fi was on and connected, it wouldn't go through. likewise, when someone tried to call me when wi-fi was on, they went straight to voicemail. i tested it when i got home and same thing...wi-fi on, no voice. wi-fi off, voice calls work just fine.the only think i can think of is that i have skype installed but not logged in yet, so maybe it's trying to make calls that way? i'm going to be kinda bummed if i have to turn off wi-fi to use the phone.

I contacted LG and they said that since it is still under warranty I can mail it out to them, but my phone will be away for at least a week. I get called frequently from my work and thought if I set up Google Voice on it perhaps I would be able to at least receive messages on our Samsung Tab S 10.5. I went to Google Voice and set it up using my existing number with the Google Voice on Sprint.
It went through no problem, I was able to verify the phone and everything. Thing is, my fiance and I share the same tablet and when I looked at the call forwarding email, I realized it was to my fiance's email and not to me. I had accidentally signed up for Google Voice for my phone under his email account. So I went to disable Google Voice on Sprint after waiting 15 minutes or so for all the services to fully implement and tried to set it up under my email. I got to the verifying the phone number part, hit call me now, and nothing would go through. I tried several times and still nothing. I tried making a call from my phone and it says "we could not complete your call, please try again".
I called Sprint and explained everything to them. We went through several steps of resetting and reactivating the phone and still nothing. Whenever somebody tries to call me they get the same message "we could not complete your call, please try again." It shows that I'm connected to the network service no problem on Sprint's end and that something with Google Voice is locking me out. What am I supposed to do? I've gone through both my fiance's and my account and removed all traces of my phone number, hoping that I would be able to reset it but still nothing.
Both accounts for Google Voice say that we need to get a Google number and that there is no number associated with either accounts. I really don't know what to do as my phone is doing the lights on nobody home sort of thing. I can still use the internet with wifi no problem and can even use the mobile data to do searches on the Internet, I just can't make or receive calls or messages.
I have Galaxy S4. This problem started suddenly. I restarted the phone and same thing happened.
