E6 While making outbound calls from my phone version 022.014 I get "No Answer"; this applies to all calls, I cannot make out going calls. Nokia please help; seems another bug(which is not a surprise for Anna!)

receiving inbound calls but can't make outbound calls..! it just showing " disconnected " when ever i made an outbound call.............i had tried rebooting,battery was reinserted........but did't tried to re insert sim.........checked with FDN settings...more over signal strength is also good.
View 2 Replies View RelatedThe mail setup wizard seems to work OK - but only when a SIM card is in place - and never asks for details of outbound servers.Hunting about I have not managed to find anywhere that you can do this.Anyone have an idea how you can access and modify the outbound server (as you can on .N97).I owuld be disgusted to think that Nokia are complicit in forcing us to use the network provider's mail servers - in other words focing you to pay roaming data charges if not in your home country!

I got i going again by shutting it down, but now that has stopped working as well. Few time when somebody has called me it has dropped the call at the first second saying "connection problem".

View 15 Replies View RelatedI cannot make or receive calls and messages on my nokia e52 sometimes. When trying to make a call it shows a small lock in locked position near the green phone symbol. I then restart the phone and it works fine. It only occurs rarely like once in a week or two and you wont know unless you try to make a call or some one calls your land phone and tells that the mobile is switched off. I am using the latest software and has tried the factory reset.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI got the black version bought in the end of May 2010, and got it repaired recently because of cracked speaker. The repair company also upgraded the firmware from 034.001 to 051.018 (the new firmware 051.018 crash a lot more often specially with music player or if you want to see pictures/movies).
Anyway, In relationship with the repair I also noticed that I could not receive or make any calls. If I try to make a call its all silent the signal strength says its great connection though with the full bars. And if someone tries to call me they hear the default: "the subscriber can not be reached now, please leave a number and end with #".
And if I restart the mobile the phone works as normal again, I can make calls and receive calls. Also SMS will be received now. This happened both with firmware 034.001 and 051.018. I am using 3G net with operator Tango mini/comviq in Sweden (and they dont have any problems with the net, also the restart would suggest the same thing). I would think this is related to too long uptime or the frequent soft reboots/crashes.
I have set a VoIP account on my E6.When I want to use it, the Nokia documentation says :"Install an internet call service You can search for internet call services from Ovi Store. For details, go to [URL] Download an installation widget for the internet call service.To start the installation, select the installation widget.Follow the instructions.When an internet call service has been installed, a tab for the service is displayed in the contacts list."But there is no ToIP widget service on Ovi store !how I can make VoIP calls?

Well, This has to be a basic feature of a smart phone (infact, any phone)
if there is a number being displayed on the screen ... USER CAN MAKE A CALL TO IT.
But unfortunately NOKIA has failed to provide this BASIC FUNCTION.
Is there any hope of getting this BASIC feature in next update?
When I receive a call my screen automatically locks and darkens. Sliding the key lock switch to unlock the phone doesn't work. Not having access to the screen is a problem for two reasons: 1. I don't know who is calling me (as the screen is dark) 2. I cannot use any of the phones functions (i.e. speaker, conference calls, hold, etc.) This all started when I upgraded to Software Version 022.014 with Software Version Date 2011-07-05. Both points above were working before this update.

View 14 Replies View RelatedSo couple days ago someone tried calling me but apparently got the "the person you are calling is not available, please try again" later blah blah blah which usually comes on when the mobile is switched off i suppose, but at the time of the calls my phone was at full reception bar! I tried calling my phone and confirms that it wasn't able to receive calls but i can make calls though. Is this a known E72 bug or something??
