May 28, 2012I have around 250 photos and 15 videos in my gallery. Whenever I try to open my gallery its very slow, it takes almost 20 seconds to open up.
I have 2.3.6 Android version, and I have installed MX Video Player to view the video files.

Apr 21, 2010I have an E63 that is about 4 months old. It stopped opening my text messages a few weeks ago, but I was able to open them again after an hour or so. It has been a few hours and I'm starting to become worried because my phone isn't opening the messages at all. Whenever I click the select button or select "open" from the message menu it acts as if I didn't press any button. I can reply back, and it'll mark it as read, but I cannot personally see the full text message.

Dec 22, 2011After many troubles with my E7 has been changed by Nokia already 2 times cause to battery problems I still have many problems and would like to know how to solve them. The calendar is super super slow !! If I try to change day it takes a lot of time and IMPOSSIBLE to modify an eventif I try to modify before opening it it takes 20 seconds. Other problem is Phone Book it is crazy we can not modify the details in the contacts. Example I would like to add 2 or 3 mobile numbers but NEED to change and personalize the tag as "mum phone" or personal mobile or second mobile but I can t ! Or you house the tags already done like office, personal or similar in E7 or impossible to personalize the like it was on E90 Other important problem Is there a way to print my calendar and my phone book ?? The sw version I have is Symbian Anna 0.22.014 2011.07.05 / 022.014.211.03 2011 07 16 but on Nokia site it seems there is a new version for Anna but if I try to update my phone it says there are no new versions.is it normal

Sep 20, 2012I replaced the original memory card on my E5 with a new, larger one. All OK, except I lost the media gallery preloaded on the first card, of which the pictures were the most important. Problem is I used that card on another phone and formatted it since, so I can't recover the files from there.Is there any way to download that gallery anywhere? If not, I would be very grateful to any kind soul who could create an archive from his or her phone and post it somewhere for me to get to.

Jan 10, 2012the gallery app which was included isn't showing any pictures, which is extremly annoying, because many apps, like facebook apps, just show a black screen when I select "upload from gallery" If I open up the Gallery app the screen is just black and no pictures are displayed, only the exit and option buttons. Same problem is with the video app... I've already reseted it three times, but still no change.... And the crazy thing is, that with the photo browser app I'm able to see the pictures... Also there's a problem with switching the ring and alarm-tone. Exactly the same thing, I Do have music on my phone and the player is working... But I can't choose another tone for alarmtone, won't open fricking folder.

Feb 1, 2011I use an E73, but searched the forum and know this problem plagues the E72 and maybe other phones, too. In my case, the sequence went like this:1) Receive email with attached pictures2) View each picture3) Press the scroll key while each picture is visible, get a Save prompt, and choose the internal phone memory. A "Saved to Gallery" prompt appears.4) Pictures were written to the root area of C:DataImages and can be viewed in Gallery5) At some later point, delete one or more pictures using File Manager6) Now when running Gallery, placeholders for the images still exist, and trying to delete them results in the a "General: System Error".There is no high level "Refresh" option.
If the pictures were on the SD Card, deleting E:private101ffc31glxmdstn (the card's thumbnail database) would fix this problem, but these pictures are ON THE C: RIVE! Assuming C:Private (which is inacceessible from any file viewer) contains another thumbnail database, my only options appear to be1) Soft reset (Will this work?? Please. no guessing! )2) Hard reset3) Hack the phoneI am using the latest E73 firmware that was released just a couple weeks ago. Does anybody with an E72 (etc.) know if this problem was already fixed for other Nokia phones?I made a short list of E73 bugs here: /t5/Eseries-and-Communicators/Some-E73-044-088-firmware-bugs/m-p/904401#M83905 but this may actually be the worst bug of all because there is seemingly no workaround.

I can choose between"all", "taken", "months", "album", "etiquettes". (I am using a swedish translation of those words on my telephone).
All I want is to see the first taken image and be able to navigate backwards and forwards.

Mar 23, 2011For some strange reason when I put my memory card into a new E72 when viewing pictures previously saved on to the memory card the images are showing incredibly blurry and sizes range between 1kb and 3kb, the pictures look fine as a thumbnail, and its as if the picture is saved as the thumbnail.
However when viewing through file manager or trough my laptop the images are perfectly sized memory and when opened they aren't blurry at all they are back to normal.
I have already attempted removing images from memory card, putting them back on, moving to phone memory and trying to view them there, but it's the same.

Jun 4, 2011using latest firmware in my e55, i found out that the images which are taken horizontally (wide) is rotated "clockwise" ingallery when you want to view image vertical instead of horizontal which is not the desired. It must be rotated "anti-clockwise".

Jun 20, 2011I have a brand new E7 configured with my corporate Exchange 2003 server account and my private gmail. E7 runs the most current SW P1.1 014.002.263.03.Mail/calendar/contacts sync works but opening a received mail with any attachment listed (even how tiny, like 1kb jpeg) on the mail application takes ages. If I click on a message on the mail list it can take upto 30 seconds before the screen shows the message. During the time the phone freezes, even the hardware buttons are not responding. The symptom is the same on Exchange and Gmail accounts. Messages not having any attachments open in about 4 secs. I have tried to delete the accounts etc. but no joy.The mails are received as push, I have tried also scheduled receiving, offline mode etc. but the speed is the same. Is anyone else seeing this and is there anything to be done? The speed of the mail application is so poor that it prevents me to use the E7 as the business phone.

Feb 27, 2010Even if I select "high" sensitivity for optical navi key, it is too slow for me. I can only move 2 icons once a time. I think it is too slow compared to "blackberry"s trackpad. I have to touch too many times for moving long distances especially browsing web. It's sensitivity should be increased or there should be more sensitivity levels. The difference between 3 sensitivity levels does not differ so much.
Maybe my optical navi key is malfunctioned? Can you comment your experiences with optical navi key?

Aug 15, 2011I have tried this on 3 different Nokia E6 phones, on GPRS with 5bars, 3G with 5bars and at home over wifi. All internet traffic is really slow, when on the browser downloading the SIS file for google maps, it took 5mins to download just 160k. Once I did get it installed, the Google Maps app take ages to load map tiles, and emails take about a minute to download an email with just a few lines of text.
When using OVI store, pages load really slow. So all internet apps are slow. The phone overall is quick. All this in an edge or 3G area with 5bars, and 3 phones do the exact same. All firmware ver 22.14. Same settings, area and sim card in my Nokia E71 and E72 are perfect.

May 26, 2011There are three E7's in my company, two of which have now experienced odd time & date changes. First it was only one, with a Firmware version of 13.something, repeating every now and then. Now also my E7 (firmware 014.002) did the same, the time and date changing today afernoon to be March 1st, 2011 at 15:20, even though in reality it is May 26th, 2011 at 17:58.
Oddly enough, the firmware date is 2011-03-01. Does the phone somehow resort to the time of the firmware release?

Jun 11, 2010after upgrade to firmware 034.001 I noticed problem that after some time (like 1-2days) phone stops ringing on incoming calls. I see that call someone is calling but no sound comes out of phone (I can answer call and all is OK). I tried to change profiles General/Meeting but anyway after change I make test call and still no sound. Only thing that help is switch off and back on.
