i have a new Nokia E7-00. I experience the calendar function to be VERY slow. It takes seconds to open, then more seconds to load the calender entries, then to move from one date to the other, even closing the function is slow. What can I do to make it respond faster?

View 2 Replies View Relatedsince i made the transition to iCloud, whenever I open the calendar app and press "+" to add a new calendar item, the app is unresponsive for 30 to 50 seconds, before i can make a new entry.I have an iPhone 4, with iOS5.1 with a G3 connection in the German Telecom network. However, the same is true, if I am in a WLAN network at home or other places. I suspect it has something to do with iCloud syncing, since the little clock symbol is rotating.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have tried this on 3 different Nokia E6 phones, on GPRS with 5bars, 3G with 5bars and at home over wifi. All internet traffic is really slow, when on the browser downloading the SIS file for google maps, it took 5mins to download just 160k. Once I did get it installed, the Google Maps app take ages to load map tiles, and emails take about a minute to download an email with just a few lines of text.
When using OVI store, pages load really slow. So all internet apps are slow. The phone overall is quick. All this in an edge or 3G area with 5bars, and 3 phones do the exact same. All firmware ver 22.14. Same settings, area and sim card in my Nokia E71 and E72 are perfect.
Since about a week, my telephone is extermely slow by typing. Whether I'm wrting a SMS or Active notes, the words in the display come long after I typed them in the keyboard.What coul it be the reason for it? Is there anyway to solve this problem?
View 5 Replies View RelatedSynchronizing my N96 with ovi suite via bluetooth is horribly slow.Transferring only a single photo for example takes about 10 minutes.Even when I only sync contacts and messages, I can wait like 5 minutes or longer.Is there any known issue about syncing an N96 with ovi suite via bluetooth?I cant imagine why it would take so long.When I use direct file transfer, and not ovi suite, to transfer the same photo to my PC, it works at normal speed. (less than 10 seconds)When I use the usb cable to sync to ovi suite, its working at normal speed as well.Any ideas about this?
View 4 Replies View RelatedIs the Hotmail server down because my NM is online, but won't sync the new emails to my inbox even though I know there are new ones there. Not only is the syncing process extremely slow, but it will often go offline on its own accord. And I'm never notified of new emails in my inbox unless I manually sync it.
And the Inbox is sync enabled, I made sure I checked that before I posted anything. Has this happened to anyone else before? I've tried going offline, rebooting my phone and then starting it all up again but it still continues to do the same thing.
I am facing problem with my Nokia E72.when I input birthdays via my contacts, they do not appear in my calender.When I sync. My contacts via Exchange they do appear in Outlook but not on my nokia.

on e-series:1. There's a shortcut... Hold shift and press the ctrl/chr key.
2. When on a input screen i.e. SMS, Web, email, etc. To Turn On/Off predictive text and/or Writing language select the Function(Bottom Left)+Space key combination.
i guess the only way for me doing this shortcut is by emulating these keys using magickey(see attachment (freeware)).could sb tell me the which number these keys have in magickey? all you have to do is install and open it uner keymap list you add a keymap.when you see "original key" press call-key (green) and the number should change to 999.then press function key and tell me what number appears.do the same with the other keys.

Dear nokia, I've heard about some bugs that existed in current E6, when it will get fixed? If you have no intention to fix it ASAP then E6 would be a big NO for me.
I have a brand new E7 configured with my corporate Exchange 2003 server account and my private gmail. E7 runs the most current SW P1.1 014.002.263.03.Mail/calendar/contacts sync works but opening a received mail with any attachment listed (even how tiny, like 1kb jpeg) on the mail application takes ages. If I click on a message on the mail list it can take upto 30 seconds before the screen shows the message. During the time the phone freezes, even the hardware buttons are not responding. The symptom is the same on Exchange and Gmail accounts. Messages not having any attachments open in about 4 secs. I have tried to delete the accounts etc. but no joy.The mails are received as push, I have tried also scheduled receiving, offline mode etc. but the speed is the same. Is anyone else seeing this and is there anything to be done? The speed of the mail application is so poor that it prevents me to use the E7 as the business phone.
View 4 Replies View RelatedEven if I select "high" sensitivity for optical navi key, it is too slow for me. I can only move 2 icons once a time. I think it is too slow compared to "blackberry"s trackpad. I have to touch too many times for moving long distances especially browsing web. It's sensitivity should be increased or there should be more sensitivity levels. The difference between 3 sensitivity levels does not differ so much.
Maybe my optical navi key is malfunctioned? Can you comment your experiences with optical navi key?

I have full service and the internet is extremely fast when tethered but on the fb app it takes like 2-3 mins to load pictures and about 15 seconds to refresh updates. Any reasons for this? Btw I'm on vzw.
I have a new BB bold. When my device shuts down, it takes ages to re-start the device. Literally speaking it takes around 7-8 minutes to have it started. Sometimes on/off button do not even react, I have to press multiple times and hold for a long time as well.
