Eseries / Communicators :: E5 Is Getting Switched Off When Opening Opera?
Dec 18, 2012
i have installed opera mini 7 into my nokia e5.whenever i am trying to open that opera nini my phone is getting switched off and restarting.i have installed 101.003 firm in my phone.i am not understandim why this is happening?
After reset my E72 by code *#7370# to restore factory settings and try to install Opera browser versions (Opera Mobile, Opera Mini,...). But they cannot load to run,... Even I reinstall five times.
i had downloaded opera mini 6.5 in my mobile NOKIA E5.but since last few days it stopped working.so i tried to download opera mini 7 but i am not able to download that...
i have been using E6 from the day it was released, unfortunately havent had had great experience with this mobile. Would anyone suggest me why the phone gets switched off often..this happens after i have updated the firmware v2.2...
I put on my SD card some photos to make a diaporama when I saw that I couldn't access to my themes folder. So I decided to reboot my E72 and it didn't want anymore to start. So I removed my SD, and tried again but I had the Nokia welcome screen and after a few minutes a white screen which empty my battery. I tried again a few time this morning and it makes the same thing. How can I reset my phone or make my phone working back ?
I have a strange problem. My E5 has the following setting for WLAN:
Ctr Panel>Settings>Connection>Wireless LAN>Show WLAN Availablity = Never
However, the entire time the background scanning is being done and "Select WLAN Network" popup comes with all the networks around me. I guess this is eating into the battery life and barely 10 hrs in the day, the battery dies out. I would like to add that I am a non phone person & hardly talk on the phone.
I am able to access the network service providers 3G network normally. I want to shut this background scanning for good and use only the network of my service provider.
I have just bought a Nokia E71 from a friend. For some reason I decided to delete apps I wouldn't use and deleted Top Hits Solitaire and Global Race. When I turn the phone on now it starts installing something and then I get a message saying "Unable to complete the installation from the memory card. To install remaining applications go to Application Manager." Could this be because I deleted the two apps? How I can find out what it is trying to install and how I can stop it trying to install it?
I tried to install the current software update on my Nokia E63. The update (109 MB) gets downloaded to my PC but after that I get the following error:
"Could not connect to the server. The software updates server could not be reached. Make sure the internet connection is working and try again. If the problem persists check your firewall settings or contact your network administrator. You can still install previously downloaded software updates."
I even switched off my firewall and tried, but in vain.
I have been Facing Problem Since yesterday that My Nokia e5 Camera is not opening. Whenever I try to Open Camera It is not opening and retard me back to the previous screen where I have selected camera Icon.
I have an E63 that is about 4 months old. It stopped opening my text messages a few weeks ago, but I was able to open them again after an hour or so. It has been a few hours and I'm starting to become worried because my phone isn't opening the messages at all. Whenever I click the select button or select "open" from the message menu it acts as if I didn't press any button. I can reply back, and it'll mark it as read, but I cannot personally see the full text message.
After many troubles with my E7 has been changed by Nokia already 2 times cause to battery problems I still have many problems and would like to know how to solve them. The calendar is super super slow !! If I try to change day it takes a lot of time and IMPOSSIBLE to modify an eventif I try to modify before opening it it takes 20 seconds. Other problem is Phone Book it is crazy we can not modify the details in the contacts. Example I would like to add 2 or 3 mobile numbers but NEED to change and personalize the tag as "mum phone" or personal mobile or second mobile but I can t ! Or you house the tags already done like office, personal or similar in E7 or impossible to personalize the like it was on E90 Other important problem Is there a way to print my calendar and my phone book ?? The sw version I have is Symbian Anna 0.22.014 2011.07.05 / 022.014.211.03 2011 07 16 but on Nokia site it seems there is a new version for Anna but if I try to update my phone it says there are no new versions.is it normal
Opera, Nokia browser and Ovi share are not opening the answer is Application Error, then I press details it the result is: Java/Lang/ClassNotFoundException:a! Its a Nokia X3, the slide one not touch screen.
I have always wondered on my Blackberry Bold 9700 under Options-SMS Text and go down to Network To Send Over and it gives me 4 options:
Circuit Switched
Circuit Switched Preferred
Packet Switched Preferred
Packet Switched
My Network is Circuit Switched Preferred, but i would like to know if anyone knows what these mean and which is the best for SMS Texts to be sent over using which one?
I have bought a Nokia E71 from a friend and when trying to download something from the Ovi store it asks for my user name and password, but says my user name and password are wrong and won't connect. I am using the same ones I use to connect to Ovi on my computer and it accepts them OK. Could this be because the previous owner's user name and password have been stored somewhere on the phone and as a security measure it won't let me in with my user name and password?
Does anyone know what I can do to be able to log in to Ovi on my phone so that I can download an application? The one I want at the moment is Sports Tracker so that I can check how many miles I do when going for a walk. I could perhaps find it online and download straight from their website, but I do really need to be able to download things through Ovi if required.
My problem is, when the phone goes in an area where there's no service, the 3G icon shows up in the right top corner, but when I go back to the area that has service, the 3G icon won't go away and I can't make any calls nor receive. only solution is to turn off the phone and turn back on. can you help me about that, how I can receive service again without restarting the phone?
my E6 seems to always show a 3G connection icon. I am not surfing the internet though and everything is set not to make connections. WiFi is priority 1.
I have just compared E-63 and 5233 both the phones have same 2 mega pixel camera and also have same resolution of 1600*1200 and there is a huge difference between in there pictures which are clicked at the same time and location when i m seeing in the PC.
I amusing E63 mobile phone. I am not been able to view the contacts in the mobile, so not been able to use the same. But when an incoming call comes in I do get the name resolution of the person calling and his mobile no which is stored in the contacts.I tried backing up the mobile and all the time the backup of contacts could not happened and besides Contacts rest all is backed up....
have encounted som bugs after installing belle on my nokia E7-00, and I want to reinstall the FW, but when I try this via the Nokia suite, I got an error, stating that something went wrong: Error-code 12048. The solution recommanded is to reinstall nokia suite.
I just installed an application for changing fonts in E71. After that I must restart my phone but after I restart, I can't turn on my phone. I've already removed the battery and memory card but it doesnt work. How can I turn on my phone again? TT
Last night I found new firmware E5: 042,014 15-dec-2010, custom version 042.014.c00.01 type RM-632.I changed the phone 2 times and the third I was replacing the motherboard nokia-care because he had a flaw in network management. Happens that when I am in a place with little network coverage, hold the phone in my hand, I lose the network.I'm testing the new firmware to see if there are improvements.
