Feb 24, 2011
I have nokia E5.. I have a habit of keeping my mobile inside pant or jeans pocket. Whenever i sit somewhere.. My mobile torch light(Camera Flash) turned on.. since ma space bar key of mobile is getting pressed for a long while.. My battery power is getting waste because of this.
i set up phone autolock period, in the Phone and SIM Card settings. Now, i can`t disable it, it`s very annoying!!! If i press ok on "None" , the phone says "Unable to unlock phone", not even asking me for the password. Whats the god damn problem, i am the user, i know my password, why can`t i disable this? Please help me, it`s very annoying... i could live with that if the period could be set to more than 20 mins, like 999999999 minutes

I configured my nokia e5 exchange mail and it prompt me change the security code (alias lock code) and ever since, the cellphone locks itself after 40 minutes and I have to be entering the code when this happens, also it requests for the code when I turn on the device. I tried to disable it and is not letting me, it shows the error "Unable to unlock phone".
I have setup and used a SIP profile through the advanced VOIP settings etc. However once a net call is made, the profile registers with the ITSP, but then stays linked whilst the E72 is within range of one of the WiFi access points. Is there any way of manually disabling the profile so it disconnects from SIP until another call is started?

As per numerous sources, the LED torch should be activated through sliding lock key for two seconds or so. I've tried this over and out (power save does not matter) and it doesn't work. I have the latest firmware.
I keep my phone in a leather flip case and when it's in my pocket, the torch button (space bar) key gets pressed causing the flash to come on.I don't know why this is as I always keep my phone locked and no other keys seem to work when it's locked.
I keep getting the 'C' memory low message. I only have 17.7mb left I have most items on E mass memory. I Have gone through the C memory and the below are the only items with any significant file size. Config = 86kb, Log = 157kb, Mail for exchange 26kb, Place widget 17kb, Sound files 118kb, adimagetemp 12kb, Bur_debug 43kb, debug.log 21kb, ka3d-log.txt 89kb, MdfpluginArchive.txt 27kb, Everything else is eithr 0 or bytes only, with about three more less than 10kb each.
what I can delete safely. I am no expert, however I do not see why the above quantity should be using up so much on the C memory?
I have taken back to factory settings and transferred data to PC under Nokia Suite Make Space option.
I have decided to try nokia messaging on my E72 so that I can get IMAP idle working properly. I tried to set this up, but was unable to do so. Searching on the WWW seems to bring back sites which over the last week have not loaded [URL]
What is a good app to listen to music to on the e71? Pandora doesn't work with this phone. And mobbler is only good for a one month free trial. Are there any good free music apps at all with this phone?
I have bought Nokia E5 just couple of weeks ago. Camera does not focus well and the pictures are not clear. 3.2 MP Camera of my nokia N93 was alot better than its(E5) 5 Mega Pixel. Nokia should sort this out, they should have checked it before introducing in the market.
