Where/how can I in Symbian s60rd3 disable info about calendar and meetings/events when phone is locked (device - not keypad)? For example in nokia E66 synchronized with exchange. I have on screen, when I lock device, info about meetings and other events. Exist app or function in my nokia with this?

View 5 Replies View RelatedWhen going in "locked" mode for keys and screen (automatically, or by doing it myself via the Key lock switch ), this also locks the "call key", making it impossible to answer an incoming call by merely pressing the call key. I first have to unlock keys and screen by using the Key lock switch. I have all the latest updates installed and already tried the obvious like restarting the phone, getting called by several fixed and mobile phones (to detect a 'pattern' - without success, as strangely enough 1 time out of 10 the key DOES respond as expected), changing the settings for the automatic key-locking,.
View 19 Replies View RelatedI just bought my mom a new E72. One thing that has us stumped is how to insert a phone number from your contacts into the body of an SMS. Pretty much every phone I have ever used has an option to "insert contact" so that you can select a number from your addressbook and insert it into the body of the SMS. I have been unable to find this option in the E72. The only way I have managed to do it is in a very round about manner involving multitasking, going and opening the contact book, then finding the number, copying it, and then pasting it back in the text of the SMS. Is this the only way to do what I want or am I missing something obvious? I can't believe that such a basic functionality would have been left out of a "smart" phone ?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI miss the owner information on a Storm2 when the device is locked.Having upgraded from a Storm to a Storm2 using the DM Device Switch Wizard, there is no owner information showing.
The owner information and the blue screen shows quickly up when the device is booted but not when it is locked. Does anybody know how to get the owner info back showing up on a locked screen or has an idea for a workaround?
About a week ago I made the mistake of upgrading my E72's software.Ever since, when I connect my E72 to a recharger it immediately locks up, even though I never configured PIN-code locking on my phone.

If i press ok on "None" , the phone says "Unable to unlock phone", not even asking me for the password. Whats the god damn problem, i am the user, i know my password, why can`t i disable this? Took all the usual precautions like removing remote lock (didn't reset the custom lock code to default) backup content to PC & memory card, then removed the card from the phone before upgrade. Then after upgrade and restoring settings inserted the card & was prompted for a password. Tried lock code/default lock code before and various other passwords before figuring out it might be the message text for the remote lock.

I configured my nokia e5 exchange mail and it prompt me change the security code (alias lock code) and ever since, the cellphone locks itself after 40 minutes and I have to be entering the code when this happens, also it requests for the code when I turn on the device.
