How do I get the podcast genre with in my music play in the E52. I have noticed whenever I format the phone and start up the music player it searches for podcasts. But the genre does not appear. I listen to podcasts on a daily basis, and i have to play them manually. I only use the default music player on the e52.

Ok, I went to OviStore and what a bad news that there is no any podcast client there! So do somebody know podcast client for e72? If this forum reads Nokia team - why did you erase it from E72? It also S60 and diffreneces between E63 and E72 are only in feature packs!

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a C5-03 which I regularly use to download and listen to podcasts.Recently, a very thick exclamation mark appeared next to one of the podcast series, on the main podcast screen (podcasting -> podcasts). The exclamation mark is well to the right of the podcast name, just to the left of where the tick would be if the podcast were marked, which is itself to the left of the slide bar.The exclamation mark has stayed there for a few days, during which I have downloaded, played and deleted several episodes. View 1 Replies View RelatedAfter a recent update, my music library will no longer sync, nor does Ovi suite see any files on my E7 (which are really there). After attempting to sync, it will come up with the message "failure to sync". Oddly enough, contacts etc all sync without a problem and there is no problem listening to the music on the E7. I can copy music directly from Windows Mediaplayer, but that will cause the album not to show up in the albums on the E7 (though they are accessible through the file manager and then all works again.

When i seem to try and refresh it after it had found the 140 songs it constantly has the 'Refreshing. Added: 0.' searching for music. I have checked the instructions and they all suggest the same, but it seems that my phone does not have the same settings. I am able to create playlists and name them but I cannot add any songs to them - whenever I open a playlist the only songs I have are the pre-installed Nokia songs. View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm thinking about getting an iPhone or iPod touch and want to listen to podcasts. With my current MP3 player/software combination I have a problem dealing with podcasts. So I'm wondering if iTunes+iPod/iPhone can do what I want. This is what I'm looking for:
I want to be able to have a playlist containing all podcasts that I haven't listened to. When a new podcast comes out I want to be able to sync with iTunes and have the new podcast get appended to the playlist. Preferably I should not have to choose which podcasts to append. All new podcasts should just be automatically appended. I don't want to have to make a new playlist everytime I download a new podcast and I don't want to lose my place in the playlist. I just want to sync the podcast and have it show up in my podcast playlist. Once I've listened to a podcast I want it to be deleted and taken off of the playlist. Thus the playlist should just act like a queue where podcasts that have been listened to get deleted and new podcasts get appended. I know that iTunes/iPod has some functionality in dealing with podcasts, but can it do all of this? If not, do you know of any device/software combination that can perhaps non-iPod or software for the iPod touch, something like that? If there's an application which can do this without syncing to iTunes, that would be work too.
The music volume in maximum volume while using earphones is too low in my E5-00 compared to Nokia Xpressmusic 5310. Is it normal for E5 or is there anything I can do to make the music volume loud.

The problem is that the music player on the phone only looks in the folder called "Soundfiles" ("Lydfiler" in danish). The only way to make the music from "Music" available to the player, is to move it by the help of the FIlemanager on the phone. It can't be moved by the help of a file handler application in Ovi Suite.

I thought that if I reinstall the device software then it will be solved. But alas! I can't reinstall device software with NSU or Ovi suit (latest version).I am using the latest firmwae 071.004 (rm-469) I updated this firmware 10 days ago. Before this update the problem was happening and still happening after the latest firmware installed.
