Im wondering if theres anything to disable this...or its just me...i turned off the theme effects already. I just dont like it, i feel like it slows down the fone...im wondering if there could be any future updates on the nokia X6 since the last one was v40? Nokia need to remove this menu fade effect!

On your Z5's when you let the screen turn off automatically due to timeout, what is your animation? Does it dim out and turn off instantly or does it have a fade out effect?
Mine dims and turns off without a fade out effect which I swear was there before? I don't know.

The sim service menu(one with the sim card icon) does not open when clicked which is annoying as I use it alot.I usually have to do a full restore which deletes all my data to make it work again which really sucks. Then a few weeks later the problem reapears again, and that sucks even more. Im really fatigued at this point. Whats the point of saving stuff when you have to delete it every other week? Is there any other way to fix this without losing my data?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have the curve 8520 and it keeps fading to a white screen while I'm doing pretty much anything on the phone. It has done it after I check voicemail, on BBM, fb, email...etc.etc. After it fades to white, it will freeze like that until i take the battery out or plug it in...sometimes it will just turn itself off and stay on black screen... do i need to get a new battery?

Depending on the actual screen displayed , the text seems to fade - which is quite weird. On screens where the icons are displayed and other screens all seems fine. 3) The phone was no where close to water ? & 5) I did not open the phone and tamper with any of the hardware neither did i flash the phone through any 3rd party software or tool. When the 2.3.3 update was out for the X10 i updated using the SEUS and then the phone worked fine for about a week and then one fine day it did not turn on.
Am I correct in thinking that to have a hassle free upgrade from Version 2.3.X to ICS you should do a factory reset prior to downloading the update then another factory reset after you've downloaded the update?Also can you still update OTA after doing the first factory reset?Is it better to update OTA rather than use Kies? Also do the apps that you downloaded under 2.3.X still work under ICS?Most of all is ICS worth it?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI own a two Blackberry 8520. Almost 1.25 year i bought it. Both mobile has crossed 1year warranty. In Both set the rubber buttons started to fade off... The volume, Voice dialing button is faded off completely with the Cam button on the sides.When I called Redington India Ltd Jaipur & Delhi they told the rubber panel has to be replaced completely and they need to send the phone to Banglore ( Min 10 days of time) and it would cost WOOPING 2500Rs just to replace the rubber coat on the phone! What I would like to know is
1. Why 10 days of service time?
2. If I sell my phone I wouldn't even get 2500Rs now and the repair costs WOOPING 2500rs just to replace the rubber panel on the phone. Is it the right cost given to me?
3. Can the service be done within few hours or 1 or 2 days?( Since its just replacing the rubber panel)
4. Why is the quality of Blackberry 8520 not up to BlackBerry standards? The buttons just fade off what ever is done! Sir. Spending 2500rs for one mobie is very expensive just for the rubber panel.
5. The total cost for both mobile is around Rs 5,000. It is very expensive because in both sets body (front & Back) is OK but rubber panel was fade off.
6. Having such a reputed company the quality of buttons is so poor. Is this a manufacturing Defect?

After pressing the On button at the top of the phone, the phone will vibrate after a sec and then there's a backlight but the "Sony Ericson" logo does not appear and after about 6 seconds the backlight will fade.

To get it back I have to lock the phone and then I'm able to use the knock code to wake it up again and then screen looks fine, but will often repeat this behaviour soon afterwards. I'm 4 days out of warranty so can't send back to lg for a fix. The phone is not water damaged and is in pretty good condition other than a few bangs and scratches to the corners. The screen itself isn't cracked or anything. Iv also tried a factory reset which hasn't worked?
I was texting a friend and suddenly the screen starts to fade black. I tried to turn it back on but it just stayed black. But when i want to put it on vibrate, it vibrates or when i want to charge it, it makes that sound effect when you plug it in. So it is still working but the screen isn't.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI'll be quick with this, I updated my new AINO 3 hours ago and I realised that in return for making my mobile faster from the updated firmware, some items seemed to have disappeared: Missing red streak in MEDIA PLAYER TOUCH SCREEN UI, slightly laggy media UI in the touchscreen media player, removed ULTIMATE particle background in the media player and touchscreen MEDIA PLAYER UI icons seem to pop up smaller.Has anyone experienced similar problems from the update? My AINO is actually runnin pretty faster now but i'm just stating so that I don't know I'm the only one cause apperntly there are quite a few users on websites saying that the update scroowed them over. But yeah, the phone is grand but just some things went missing? Is this normal from an update if you have experienced it?

I have a Verizon Storm 9530, running OS 5.0.0.328. I just upgraded yesterday from 4.7-something. I avoid upgrading ANYTHING because of BS like this- read on...I'm 90% thrilled with the fixes/upgrades/"features" of 5.0. I can finally type in a webpage text field without the browser crapping itself, or use the copy/paste function without performing delicate surgery, or browse music playlists without going berzerk from the horrendous, unusable interface.
However, there were two "gotchas" that really make me consider switching back to 4.7. First is the Auto-dim "feature". It's very annoying, and broken... but tolerable. And covered in about a dozen other threads. So I won't beat that horse here.
My beef is with listening to music. I use my phone to listen to Pandora about 7-8 hours a day. Occasionally I listen to my own MP3's. I noticed right away that after upgrading to 5.0 and the latest version of Pandora (1.1.2.1 -> 1.1.3.2?) that my audio tracks faded in at the beginning. I thought it was some stupid feature introduced into Pandora.
On my way home from work this evening, I noticed it did the same thing with my personal MP3's. All of my songs had a similar, disgusting fade-in that lasted about 1 second. It wasn't even a 'smooth' fade-in, either!URL...(Sorry, can't link with <10 post count)
This thread describes EXACTLY what I'm experiencing on my Storm. I've only attempted to listen to music through the headphone jack. I'm using standard, off-the-shelf headphones, along with my cassette adapter in my car- all of them do this. With the built-in speakers, it works fine.
I'm a bit of an audiophile/perfectionist. I've had several other audio devices (MP3 player, Ipod, MD player, CD player), some of which have had options to enable or disable this so-called feature. I've looked everywhere I can think of (trust me, I've been searching these forums all day!) but my Storm has no such option.
I had NO issues with this before OS 5.0, and it's driving me CRAZY. My wife says it's "not such a big deal" but when you're ROCKING OUT in the car, and your favorite song's formerly powerful intro sounds like puke, IT IS a big deal!
I have LG G3 and I cracked the screen so I bought a new one from ebay, then when I got it, I've installed it perfectly but when I open it white vertical lines appear, when I double tap the screen it closes and when i open it again it works perfect for 1 second and then colors start to fade and vertical lines again appear.
