When Nokia DC-16 was discharged my phone was charged only 50%. Firstly, Swype isn't working on my phone, it has never worked before and i was hoping it would with the Anna update but it still doesn't. Whenever I install the App, my phone freezes, i can't open anything that requires use of the Keyboard(Messages, Conversations, WhatsApp). The phone just keeps quite until I uninstall Swype.
Secondly, When you use Grid, there is an icon called Signal Boost, when opening it, it says System error... Not sure if anyone has ever experienced this.
Lastly (for now), are we supposed to purchase Shazam and QuickOffice 7 or a plan is being made to have an update that allows full access to both the apps in the near future? N8-00,Galaxy Tab 10.1
so I have the maps loaded onto my phone, but when I use the Directions (like sat nav) mode it quits after 30 secs with the message 'Enter Shop' or something like that? I am using the service offline - if that makes any difference?
View 5 Replies View Relatedbought a nokia 5800 from hong kong with preinstalled chinese and english language, but my bro recently purchased a nokia 5530 from the same place, and it also has the same language packs preinstalled. however, the 5530 can view the arabic font (but not write in arabic) as in if he gets a txt messeage in arabic, but my 5800 cant? anyone knows how i cud install the arabic language pack in my 5800. i know they are already preinstalled by nokia, but since stores can do it, then there must be a way to do it!
View 8 Replies View RelatedWill the N8 get any of it, especially the smaller widgets? Nokia, come on, these massive widgets reduce the phone's functionality. Not to mention that some widgets are poorly designed (like social having refresh at the bottom of a list, or if you click on it, you're not in "all activity", and the new mail widget). The mail, music player, and social widgets are just too huge to use and say the phone has better interface functionality over an iPhone and Androids. The social sub-widgets are quite terrible, as is the entire app now. The last version was pretty near perfect, but of course, not good enough for Nokia. They have to add bloat to streamlined, functional apps.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI am using a nokia 5230 with maps 3.03.When i click on my position inside the app it doesn't locate any satellites, the bottom where the bars are there is only one yellow flashing light.When i click a location and select drive to, it just gets stuck on waiting for GPS and the yellow light for satellites keeps blinking and im outside without any cloud cover!.

2) The phone was not dropped ?
3) The phone was no where close to water ? & 5) I did not open the phone and tamper with any of the hardware neither did i flash the phone through any 3rd party software or tool. When the 2.3.3 update was out for the X10 i updated using the SEUS and then the phone worked fine for about a week and then one fine day it did not turn on.
Am I correct in thinking that to have a hassle free upgrade from Version 2.3.X to ICS you should do a factory reset prior to downloading the update then another factory reset after you've downloaded the update?Also can you still update OTA after doing the first factory reset?Is it better to update OTA rather than use Kies? Also do the apps that you downloaded under 2.3.X still work under ICS?Most of all is ICS worth it?

View 5 Replies View RelatedI'll be quick with this, I updated my new AINO 3 hours ago and I realised that in return for making my mobile faster from the updated firmware, some items seemed to have disappeared: Missing red streak in MEDIA PLAYER TOUCH SCREEN UI, slightly laggy media UI in the touchscreen media player, removed ULTIMATE particle background in the media player and touchscreen MEDIA PLAYER UI icons seem to pop up smaller.Has anyone experienced similar problems from the update? My AINO is actually runnin pretty faster now but i'm just stating so that I don't know I'm the only one cause apperntly there are quite a few users on websites saying that the update scroowed them over. But yeah, the phone is grand but just some things went missing? Is this normal from an update if you have experienced it?
