Nokia Accessories :: Power Button In CK-200 Does Not Work At All
Jul 16, 2011the power button in my CK-200 does not work at all. Which is a shame as I have external mic that I cannot not activate now. The button use to work, also now the device is generally working really unstable, so I updated the software to latest, but no change to the power button functionality.

Apr 30, 2011i have just installed my CK-100 and for some reason the unit stays on.I have discoonected my phone and powered down my phone, have also tried turning the dial to the left until it beeps but i dont get a beep. Little bit worried that it could potentially drain the battery on my car.

I was able to get power using the same cable configuration to a wide list of devices that do support power via USB.

Sep 14, 2012I have Nokia 5800 phone and I've just bought a BH-108 bluetooth headset. Unfortunately, when I connect the headset to my phone, I encounter a pretty much peculiar problem - the phone doesn't get any sound from the headset microphone. I can clearly hear anything through it, but the phone can't hear me, nor can the people when I call them. When I am calling, I can hear the person otherside, but they can't hear me. When I try to use a voice command the phone just doesn't get my voice and I get "no match found". I am sure that my headset works properly, because I gave it a try with few other Nokia phones and they got my voice normally.

Sep 25, 2012just got Nokia DC-16 portable charger and noticed that it only gives around 1000 mAh despite the fact that it has 2200 mAh battery inside.Charged it in full and then connected it to my phone with 1800 mAh battery. The camera doesn't work. I open the camera application with both methods (button on side and icon in apps) but it does the red dot thing in the corner for about 4-6 seconds then disappears and applications tells me the app is running. I try to go to the app but it wont go on it.
Problem 2:
The green key, dialler and contacts icon on the home screen do not work at all. I have no way of opening my dialler as there is no option for it.
I updated my firmware to v40.0.005 last week. Please be aware the problems were both there BEFORE i made the update and are still here after the update.Is there any way of doing this without soft/hard resetting. Also, does soft/hard reset mean you lose the data in an app (eg your high scores in a game like bagatelle)?

Jan 30, 2012After recent upgrade to v 60.0.003, my Nokia 5800 XpressMusic does not seem to be working properly with my car bluetooth kit. It connects to the car kit alright, and the incoming call's ringtone is heard on the car kit and the call can also be accepted by pressing the green button on the car kit but the call voice (both mike and speaker) remains with the phone and does not come over the car stereo. If I look at the phone screen during the call, there is an option to activate the speaker but none to transfer the call to bluetooth device. I have tried fiddling with options in Accessories - > Car kit, as well as the bluetooth options, to no avail. Tried re-pairing but that didn;t help either.

Jan 17, 2010After doing the update to v40 my alarm does not work properly (on both my 5800's), when the alarm goes off and the stupid orange and red bars come up saying snooz and stop they do nothing ! I hit them and the alarm just keeps going and going, I have to hit the red menu button and it goes to snooz mode, is there a way to revert back to v31 as I really do not like this newer v40 firmware.

Jan 6, 2010Both PC Suite and Ovi were working perfectly until I updated my Ovi to the latest version early this week. Now, whenever I start Ovi, it will crash after 15-20sec if my 5800 is connected ( either bluetooth or USB ). If the phone is not connected, Ovi will stay without any issue. Btw, PC Suite is working fine. Here is the error message pop-up on the screen when Ovi crashed.

iii) Format and reinstall Windows 7 ( Yes, I did !!! ) , re-download and reinstall Ovi Suite : Failed to fix
I strongly believe this error is caused by the latest version of Ovi Suite, as i have another laptop which running with the older version of Ovi Suite works perfectly with my 5800. I have uninstall the Ovi Suite, I will only try it again when next release is available.
