Jan 22, 2012I have a CK-100 car kit and trying to find a replacement/upgrade charge cable (CA-134) with a USB micro B connector instead of the 2mm that is fitted. The user/installation guide mentions that an alternative USB cable may be supplied but all searches have failed to find one. The alternative is to make up a cable RJ45 at the CK end, I can buzz it out but does anyone have the pin out for the RJ45? I've tried the CA-146 adapter and to be honest it's naff - it runs hot and the output is reduced to the point that whilst running my satnav app the phone will discharge faster than it can be charged, I've also tried the adapter on a standard car charger with the same results.

Jan 22, 2011A longer cable can be gotten separately. But why make the users pay for yet another accessory that would be useless once they get their next non-Nokia phone? The cable supplied with the phone is too short to be useful for anybody using a desktop tower instead of a laptop. Sometimes I wonder how they come up with such brilliant ideas like this tiny cable when no other brands have been able to do such things yet. Then I replace 'how' with 'why' and keep wondering.

Aug 30, 2012Does anyone know if there is a way of transferring the settings between 2 6230i's via Bluetooth or IR? My grandpa's 6230I broke so I found him another one on eBay but he's not going to be able to configure it himself, so I want to transfer the configuration changes (Not sure if there are any) that he's made on his old device to his new one.I'd like to avoid a computer if possible; partly because I don't have a data cable but even if I did use Bluetooth I really don't want to have to install pc suite just to do this.
