View 5 RepliesSince it seems that prices for microSDHC cards have dropped quite a bit recently (you can get a 16GB Class 10 Samsung one for £25 now) I'm thinking of getting a new Class 10 one for my X3-02. Does anyone know if one will work in the X3-02, and whether I'd get the benefit of the full speed? Also, while a 32GB card is probably out of my price range at the moment, has anyone managed to get one to work in an X3-02? I notice that the X3-02 Specifications page on Nokia's UK site is still contradicting the manual by saying that the phone accepts cards up to 16GB, rather than 32. When I asked Nokia Support they said 16GB was the correct figure, but that was a couple of firmware revisions ago.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI bought a 16gb MicroSD card for my 5230 Nuron. How do I transfer everything from the original 4gb card to the new card? I've downloaded some apps and themes and I want to make sure they get transferred to the new card. I tried doing a full backup and restore using Ovi Suite and some of the downloaded apps made it and some didn't. I tried to re-download some of them from Ovi Store but Ovi Store seemed to think they were still there and wouldn't let me download them again. Is it as simple as copying the contents of the old card to the new card?
View 10 Replies View RelatedI know this might be a really obvious question for some but I thought I would ask anyway. I recently upgraded to an android phone but really don't like it and it's to late to return it. So, my options are to go back to my 8330 which is 2 years old and hope it makes it the next 2 years of our contract or stay with the Android that annoys the heck out of me. Is it possible to take the SD card out of the android and put it in the BB so I don't have to deal with activation fee's? I'm thinking that it's not possible but a friend insists that I can do it.
Don't want to damage my BB. Thanks in advance for any advise.
i just bought Lumia 950XL. unfortunately, my device unable to detect my micro sd card. I have tried several other micro sd card that working well from other devices, but the result still the same. I have tried reformating the device, start the device without sim card, the outcome remain the same.
View 3 Replies View RelatedHave a Samsung Galaxy S5....upgraded to a 16G microSD with no issues....now I have purchased a 32G microSD card. It is completely seated in the phone, I have formatted the card, yet any pictures I take are saving to my phone instead of onto the new card? Why is this, and how can I correct this?
Also, how do I get the pictures that saved to my phone, over onto the microSD card?
I've had a nokia 5220 express music for about a year now, and when I bought it I bought an 8 GB MicroSd card.since the beginning whenever I connect to any PC via the phone the PC showed that the memory card had only 3.4 GB and the nokia PC suite also showed me the same size.
The problem is that when I check the setting of the phone the memory status shows that I have a total of 7.4 GB, also whenever I connect my MicroSd card via a card reader the PC reads and shows that I have a total of 8 GB, until now I didn't mind this problem however now I've almost reached the full capacity and I'd like to fix this problem or bug.
I just bought my wife the Razr Maxx HD phone. She had an HTC Thunderbolt with a 32gb microSD card containing music and photos. So, when we got her new phone, I put that microSD card into it. The phone found the music instantly, but it did not find any of the photos on the microSD card. I was able to find the photos on the card through the file explorer app on the phone located in a DCIM folder, but I cannot figure out how to get the phone to "see" and upload them to the phone's library.
View 4 Replies View RelatedWhat's the better way of moving several GB worth of data from a smaller to a larger microSDHC card?
1. Can I simply copy the data on the old/smaller card to my PC (using USB mode) and then install the new/larger memory card in my phone and copy it back? This, to me, seems to be the swiftest route to take.
2. Or, is it better to backup the old/small card using PC Suite and then restore to the new/large card? If so, why? Based on prior experience with this method I'm not sure all data is moved...
3. Or, it doesn't matter? Thanks.
I am considering stepping up to Kingston SDC10/16GB-2ADP, a class 10 card.
The questions are:
1) is it compatible
2) would I get any performance gain compared to Transcend TS16GUSDHC6-P3?
As far as I'm concerned, SDHC cards with speed classes 2 to 6 are SD version 2.0, whereas class 10 cards as well as new SDXC ones are SD version 3.0, hence potential compatibility issues.
I just got this phone from my wife. She never had a memory card so I need to buy one. I was looking at the SDSDQ-4096 MicroSDHC Memory Card My question is, BestBuys Compatibility Program/Chart doesn't show this card compatible with the 8330. But I'm sure you guys can answer this one! Thanks much! Also please tell me the "type or size" of the card I have look for if I go to the store, I know a lot of them are different sizes, and I want to get the right one the first time. Also how much should I expect to pay for this.

View 3 Replies View RelatedMy daughter is a proud owner of Nokia Asha 203 since x-mas. She asked me do buy a memory card and I took a 16 GB class 6 one (from Samsung). When I put the card in the phone, it does not recognize it:
- I have copied some MP3s and they are not detected. When I choose "Memory library details" from the media player, it says
Memory card: (unknown)
- When I plug in an USB cable and choose mass storage mode, the phone says "Insert memory card to continue"
I have tried with an older card - 4 GB class 4 - and it works like charm, the phone detects and plays MP3s from it. I have tried putting the 16 GB MircoSD in another player (in fact, one cheap chnese player) - works just fine.
I have updated to the latest firmware: 20.52 from 27-09-12. Did not help. It seems to me that Asha 203 cannot handle 16GB MicroSDHC.
The question is in topic. The card is for 32Gb Class 10, first it was in FAT32, then I formatted it to exFAT. why phone is not seeing it at all.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI recently acquired a 32 GB class 10 Kingston microSDHC card for use with my N8.
The phone seems unable to detect it however
The card works fine on the PC, and I tried out a couple of other microSD cards (lower capacity though - 2 and 4 GB) in the phone, and they work fine as well. So it's just this combination of 32 GB card + N8 phone that seems broken.
My MicroSD card in my Xperia is currently not working. It suddenly didn't worked! I checked the memory card on my laptop and tried to reformat it, but it says, "Disk is Write Protected". I cannot reformat it also using other Cellphones.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI just read on PCWorld that the Droid 3 comes with 16GB of internal memory, and that's it. No microSD card slot, and no 32GB version of the Droid 3. What's up with that? I currently am using 20GB on my Droid, and I can't upgrade to a phone that only allows me 16GB. The iPhone even has a 32GB version. Is PCWorld correct? I can't verify this on Verizon Wireless' site or even Motorola's, as Motorola doesn't have the phone listed in their store yet! url...

1. I have my own tone for incoming sms and it is not a song so I don't what it to be added to my music library in default music player I can't understand in what folder I should put it on SD card? (in other words what folder is not scanning for music by default music player).
2. In what folder I should put my music files by default? SoundsMusic? If I will put it in this folder my music library will be updating automaticly with new files from this folder?
3. Do you have any description of folders in memory/SD card and what content is expecting to be in these folders.
I have seen the option before, and it is in the manual, but neither of my E72s (both with latest s/w) will format the card, either as it was, with 14GB data, or formatted in Windows (7) and clean as the proverbial whistle.
View 1 Replies View RelatedMy beloved N900 dropped its USB connector, so I made a backup on the microSD card and took the phone to repair. I got an E7 in return. Now, I want my calendar, address book, and other things restored on the E7. My linux laptop can read the SD card. What should I do?
I'm rather surprised that the E7 doesn't have a memory card slot. Is Nokia adopting all of Apple's mistakes?
If absolutely necessary I have access to a Windows computer after a week, but I wouldn't like to be without my address book until then. So I'm willing to try even hackish things.
I bought a 32GB MicroSD card for my N8 so that I had enough capacity to store all of my MP3s. Unfortunately I can't convince Ovi Music Player to sync music to that location. It always tries to sync the music to the N8's 16GB internal storage area despite there not being enough capacity to do so. Is there any way to configure either Ovi Music Player or the N8 to use the MicroSD card exclusively for the music library?
