I have had my BlackBerry Curve 9330 for almost a year now, and suddenly today I got the error "Media Card Storage can not be accessed due to fatal errors" I havent dropped my phone or gotten it wet. I inserted the card into its USB adapter for my computer and tried to format it Fat, exFat, NTFS, and FAT in Cmd Prompt. I hope my blackberry didnt break my MicroSD card..
I know this might be a really obvious question for some but I thought I would ask anyway. I recently upgraded to an android phone but really don't like it and it's to late to return it. So, my options are to go back to my 8330 which is 2 years old and hope it makes it the next 2 years of our contract or stay with the Android that annoys the heck out of me. Is it possible to take the SD card out of the android and put it in the BB so I don't have to deal with activation fee's? I'm thinking that it's not possible but a friend insists that I can do it. Don't want to damage my BB. Thanks in advance for any advise.
I'm a new Blackberry user - just moved to BB from an Android phone. I have TONS of pictures saved on my SD card from my Android phone, and I cannot see them on my BB. Can anyone offer any assistance?
I thought it was as simple as "unmounting" the card from my old phone and inserting it into my BB, but apparently not
well basically i bought this phone used and the microsd slot metal part/spring whatever you call it, is not there, is their any way i can still use a microsd in my phone?
I copied my contacts from an old phone to the MicroSD card in it and then put that card into my Blackberry Curve. The Curve is not finding the contacts. Is there something I can do to get the phone to see the contacts?
I think disk encryption it's an excellent feature. I use it in my laptop, but the main problem is: how can I read the encrypted disk in another environment? I have my E71 8GB MicroSDHC encrypted by the phone. it works excellent, but there's a catch: E71 it's USB 2.0 but doesn't mean it supports High-Speed. It only supports Full-Speed so the transfers must be sticked at 1MB/sec. Obviously, after encrypting my SDHC, I cannot extract from the cellphone and try to read in a computer, like I did before. My SDHC is Class 6, so the 15MB/sec transfer is wasted. Anyone knows a software/driver/whatever-you-know that I could use to read the encrypted memory in a PC?
I just bought a MicroSD car for my Bold 9700 but when i connect it to the slot, it doesnt seem to be connecting to my phone. Any help? ive also been battery pulling to see if it would connect
I had my C6 in my pocket and suddenly mobile started to don't read anything. If I try microSD on a USB-adapter it works correctly (on my laptop) but my C6 doesn't read or found it.I've read something about a tiny magnet on N8 or N900 (don't remember).
I bought a 16gb MicroSD card for my 5230 Nuron. How do I transfer everything from the original 4gb card to the new card? I've downloaded some apps and themes and I want to make sure they get transferred to the new card. I tried doing a full backup and restore using Ovi Suite and some of the downloaded apps made it and some didn't. I tried to re-download some of them from Ovi Store but Ovi Store seemed to think they were still there and wouldn't let me download them again. Is it as simple as copying the contents of the old card to the new card?
my 8520 curve won't read it's SD card? i know it's definitely not the card as my wife just got a new BB also and it came with a brand new card that can't be read either. Thought i could live with it. but can't. You can't have any music, video content etc. My first blackberry died in a pint of guiness (don't ask), i took the sd card out before the insurance claim and had my fingers crossed that it would have survived the black death, but when my new replacement BB came it couldn't read the card. which i thought was down to the black stuff - initially. However since then i've tried different cards leaving me to believe i may still have the data on the original and that the phone or card reader is cream-crackered?
I've had my blackberry curve 8520 for over a year and never had any problems with the media card until now. I'm unable to look at any pictures, videos or music on my phone as i can not install the media card on my phone. I'm unable to repair it and format it also. The media card will also not be read when I plug it into my laptop with the USB. I definitely know its the media card and not my phone itself as I've tried my brothers media card in my phone and it worked perfectly. When i put my media card in his phone, it did the same thing and came up with the same error. how i'll be able to make the media card read in my phone or my pc so I can backup the data as I don't really want to lose it all?
ı usually plug my usb in n listen to music on my phone via my pc, for some reason everything has disappeared from my phone but when ı switch my memory card with another phone then all my data comes up, ı tried using a different memory card which worked for a day then the same thing happened to that memory card once ı put in into this blackberry.
I just bought a BB Curve 8520 which has a 2GB media card in it. On the BB under memory the card is being read showing 1.8GB free space. But when I coonect it to computer Desktop software is only giving me the option of device memory for media storage. Which is saying that I don't have the room to save any files. Also Windows Media Player won't read the BB, it just says connect device, so I can't sync any music to the BB even though there is space for it.
I'm having troubles with my Curve. It suddenly won't read my media card and displays a message that say "Media card inserted contains errors, do you wish to fix it" When I clicked yes, it say "Repair failed". I tried viewing the media card on my laptop with a reader and it works. but everytime I put it back on my Curve, it wont work.
ive just put a memory card into my 8520 and it saying it needs formatting but yesterday it was working fine so i just put another memory card in and my phone wont read both of them and saying 1 of them has no size on the card but when i try to read my files it saying the card is empty me recover all of my files please ive not done anything to them like formatted or
I have this issue where everytime I connect my BB Curve 8520 to my laptop using the USB cable, for some strange reason my laptop unable to read the memory card in the device. So I'm unable to transfer all my media data from my BB to my laptop. However, I still can back up my BB contact, update my BB OS and make changes to my BB using the BB Desktop Manager.
Tried to format it on pc/bb bt didnt work. When i load it into the pc via the memory reader the files show up as read only. I double checked to be sure the adaptor wasn't locked and even tried with another memory card and it was fine with the other card.My 8gb card is new and i formatted it as i put it in my bb. I media sync'd with desktop software and when i disconnected I got the error.
I just got myself a E52, was very surprised to see a 1GB Card in such a great phone. (Is this 2005? 1 GB Card)Anyways, here is my main question. I want to change this card to 8GB.I already have got the 8GB MicroSDHC card, but not sure how this will work. There is Maps Data about 500 MB, and other files.if i simply copy the contents of one card to other will it work?
i have a blackberry bold 9780. i put in my microSD card but it wont regognize within the phone or on blackberry desktop manager... the settings are turned on..
Just wondering if I need to format my MicroSD card before I use it in my new LG Xenon? If so, what should it be formatted as - FAT32 or NTFS?Didn't see this in the manual.
Since it seems that prices for microSDHC cards have dropped quite a bit recently (you can get a 16GB Class 10 Samsung one for £25 now) I'm thinking of getting a new Class 10 one for my X3-02. Does anyone know if one will work in the X3-02, and whether I'd get the benefit of the full speed? Also, while a 32GB card is probably out of my price range at the moment, has anyone managed to get one to work in an X3-02? I notice that the X3-02 Specifications page on Nokia's UK site is still contradicting the manual by saying that the phone accepts cards up to 16GB, rather than 32. When I asked Nokia Support they said 16GB was the correct figure, but that was a couple of firmware revisions ago.
My daughter is a proud owner of Nokia Asha 203 since x-mas. She asked me do buy a memory card and I took a 16 GB class 6 one (from Samsung). When I put the card in the phone, it does not recognize it:
- I have copied some MP3s and they are not detected. When I choose "Memory library details" from the media player, it says Memory card: (unknown)
- When I plug in an USB cable and choose mass storage mode, the phone says "Insert memory card to continue"
I have tried with an older card - 4 GB class 4 - and it works like charm, the phone detects and plays MP3s from it. I have tried putting the 16 GB MircoSD in another player (in fact, one cheap chnese player) - works just fine.
I have updated to the latest firmware: 20.52 from 27-09-12. Did not help. It seems to me that Asha 203 cannot handle 16GB MicroSDHC.
Updated to the latest fast ring build and I can no longer see most of the apps on the SD card. They are now grayed out. I've tried moving them to the phone and updating them. Pictures and music are still viewable on the card. I have tried everything that I can think of except restoring the phone
I just bought the Blackberry torch 9800, and I was using BB storm before, and I still have the 8 Giga MicroSD card, so I put it in the new torch. I was expecting the new BB torch will be able to open the files in that card, as in the music and the pictures from my old phone are there. But there's nothing from the MicroSD card can be read by this Torch, but when I take it out of the phone and trying to open it in the computer it can be perfectly opened and all of the datas are still there.what can I do to make the BB torch read the Micro SD?
I recently acquired a 32 GB class 10 Kingston microSDHC card for use with my N8.
The phone seems unable to detect it however
The card works fine on the PC, and I tried out a couple of other microSD cards (lower capacity though - 2 and 4 GB) in the phone, and they work fine as well. So it's just this combination of 32 GB card + N8 phone that seems broken.
My MicroSD card in my Xperia is currently not working. It suddenly didn't worked! I checked the memory card on my laptop and tried to reformat it, but it says, "Disk is Write Protected". I cannot reformat it also using other Cellphones.
