May 19, 2010today I have received a BB Presenter. I followed the instructions of the Get Started manual and wanted to intall the Presenter Desktop Software.When I downloaded the software from the web site I got a PresenterDN.rar file but no exe.The Presenter icon has been added to my programs but when I click on it WinRar opens and shows me a lot of different properties files.Does anyone have an explanation and a suggestion how to solve this,

Nov 14, 2011Does anyone know what specs of the blackberry presenter. Im running VGA through my aaxa p4 pico projector and everything shows up fine except there are some black horizontal lines across the top and middle of the projection.
Is there a particular hz the presenter is trying to get? is there something wrong with my vga cable?

Apr 20, 2011I've experimented with the Apple bluetooth keyboard that came out with the iPads and it seems to work well with limitations on certain keys (ie. some keys like the volume and function keys just don't work). I'm still deciding whether it is really worth the investment...the keyboard is almost full size and is easy to type quickly on.

Oct 17, 2012I'm having issues pairing my device (9320) with my new Blackberry Playbook. The software on my phone is 7.1 Bundle 2039. I can pair both devices together through Blackberry Bridge but it shows that I've recieved new emails but doesnt let me open them.
I paired the Playbook with a friends phone (9360) which operates on a different system 7.1 Bundle 1133. And this works fine and we can access the emails and the device and playbook work fine.

Apr 19, 2011I intended to use my Playbook as a presentation tool (instead of carting around a laptop meeting room to meeting room), but I cannot find a reliable means of connecting the mini HDMI output to a standard VGA projector.In my experience meeting rooms usually have an installed projector and a VGA cable ready to be plugged into a laptop. What I need is a cable to converts Mini HDMI to VGA (probably not a likely scenario), or Mini HDMI to HDMI (easy to find) then and adapter that converts the HDMI to a female VGA (just like the one on your computer)...has anyone seen or used such a set up?I don't need HD quality so I'm not worried about signal loss.

Oct 18, 2012I bought the official Blackberry Playbook mini keyboard a few months ago. It worked once. Failed second time ( I assumed I hadn't charged it enough). Tried again recently, and it definitely isn't charging. No lights; no syncing; no pairing; no nothing. I've tried different chargers and different outlets, and the darned thing is dead. And, I am very certain it is not due to any product abuse, etc. It has just died. I either have a defective product, or is there some trick or reset button or some trick I need to know to charge this device? Or, have I just thrown away $120 on a piece of junk?

Dec 12, 2010i just bought myself the blackberry-branded mini keyboard for the playbook. i know i could've gone with many aftermarket ones, but i didn't want the hassle of partial incompatibility. now this keyboard has a touchpad included too. i'm starting to get the gist of how to use one finger for left-click and two fingers for right-click, etc. but what i can't seem to get is how to text using the mini keyboard's touchpad. i've looked at several Internet videos, but i see it being used in a few of those videos but no idea how they do it. i suppose i could just bring my fingers upto the screen itself and just do it that way, but that sort of defeats the purpose of having a keyboard/pad.

Jun 14, 2012I purchased recently a second hand Blackberry Playbook and the first thing I did was a software update. After the update the device booted normally but it couldn't detect any of WiFi (802.11b/g) access points that I have home and in my work (3 different hotspots in total). I searched on the support site for the problem and I saw that some others have faced the same issue and they fix it by doing a full wipe out (factory reset). So I tried the same with no success, now my device boots and I am unable to complete the first registration that can only be done via WiFi. I also tried to re-update the device several times using the latest Desktop Software, but the result is always the same no Wifi detected.I contacted the Greek subsidiary of the store that the device purchased and they told me that I must contact with RIM central branch because the RIM support policy about this product (Playbook) is that customer gets support directly from them. The store that the Playbook originally purchased is Expansys France and I have scanned the invoice as evidence of legal purchase and valid warranty.Please advice me how can I get support for the product because I sent an email and the reply tells me that I need to submit BlackBerry inquiry via approved channel Blackberry Playbook wifi problem.
